Clinton to Muslims: Pay No Attention to GOP Campaign Talk

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told an audience of Arab students in Tunisia on Saturday to not pay any attention to the rhetoric and comments made by the Republican candidates vying for President Barack Obama’s job, saying their rhetoric does not reflect U.S. policy.
According to CNN, Clinton’s remarks came in response to a question from a Tunisian student in the audience who asked about the pro-Israel stance of nearly every American politician — Democrat or Republican — when they run for office.
“You will learn as your democracy develops that a lot of things are said in political campaigns that should not bear a lot of attention,” Clinton said. “There are comments made that certainly don’t reflect the United States, don’t reflect our foreign policy, don’t reflect who we are as a people. If you go to the United States you see mosques everywhere, you see Muslim Americans everywhere. That’s the fact. So I would not pay attention to the rhetoric.”
“I would say watch what President Obama says and does. He’s our president. He represents all of the United States,” Clinton added, saying she was surprised people in Tunisia and other countries “pay more attention to what is said in our political campaigns than most Americans.”
She also predicted Obama will win a second term in the fall.
“He will be re-elected president,” Clinton said. “I think that will be a very clear signal to the entire world as to what our values area and what our president believes.”

The murder rate in the US is among the highest in the world, but Muslims killing others, almost unheard of.

I’m not sure that applies to what I was saying (which was not a response to @saneromeo – just a comment as close to the top of the page I could write it, at the time), but insomuch as it may apply, let me say that it is irrelevant for my purposes, and so not worth mentioning. But yes, you’re right that Arabs and Africans can be Christians.
Equally irrelevant – for context’s sake – is the fact that even if we had a free market (instead of the Corporatist market we have now) we would have a capital structure which would unavoidably include Arabs and Africans in the production processes of the finished goods we buy (and vice versa).
(Kind of similar to what we have now, but without the U.S. benefitting, at the expense of other countries, from being the issuer of a fiat money that is the world reserve currency. It is fiat money and an increasingly planned economy that leads to empirialism, NOT the free market – remember this.)
If what you said doesn’t apply to me, then never mind.

I’ve asked myself the same thing many times. Why hasn’t anyone in the Congress even mentioned impeachment? Why? There is no sane logical reason for letting this madness continue until the election…an election that we know there is a very real danger may never happen. They have the nerve to label us as extreemist, radicals, and a whole assortment of other names while they are the the real threats to our republic, freedom and very lives, by their lack of action toward getting rid of the subversives in the government, of whom Prersident Barach Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are the chief traitors of the Constitution. I wish I didn’t have to temper my words due to FEAR OF THE GOVERNMENT. We should never have to fear the government. That is exactly what the founders of this nation faced when they were INTIMIDATED, THREATENED, and ATTACKED by the King of England. We are presently being INTIMIDATED and THREATENED by our own government in our own country where we were born, raised our families, where many of us gave our lives to protect, and where many of us would again give our lives to protect….tempering my words once again.

Bush wanted to replace Iraq’s dictator with freedom and minority rights but the plan now seems to be to replace all dictatorships with Sharia Law imposed with the Muslim Brotherhood in charge of each country in the disguise of democracy,therefore creating a situation where there will be one vioce to answer to throughout the whole middle east and Africa as the people are controlled with no rights for minorities……With the rest of the world being controlled by either communism or massive government regulations will result in everyone in the world will be controlled by a few powerful people.
