Clinton Urges Iran to Reject Military Expansion

(AP) — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is urging the people of Iran to reject what she says is an expansion of the Iranian military’s role and power.

Clinton Urges Iran to Reject Military ExpansionClinton says the United States is increasingly concerned about the rise of military power in Iran, the main U.S. adversary in the Middle East.

In an interview airing Sunday, Clinton says many inside Iran are worried too. And she tells ABC’s “This Week” that she hopes Iranians find a way to head off the military drift.

She says that Iran was founded as a republic, and that she hopes responsible Iranians will find a way to “take hold of the apparatus of the state.”

This problem started when Jimmy Carter allowed the Iranians terrorists to seize and keep control of Iran without immediately sending in the American Military to secure the return of the Sha of Iran. Had terrorist been stop in their tracks then and there we would have a stable friendly government already in place in the middle east.

I will give Hillary her due credit for trying to keep Iran from going nuclear. But Imam Obama isn’t man enough to take out those facilities. He is apparently taking a lesson from Jimmy “no backbone” Carter.

It will be up to Israel to do what needs to be done. With out them the world would have to face a nuclear armed Iran.

Like her husband I don’t think Hillary would allow Iran to go nuclear. But when you have an Imam as your boss…….

Hillary Clinton is setting herself up to run against Obama in 2012..yes, not a mis-type..2012..when repubs make huge gains in Nov. HClinton will resign within six months to start an inparty run against Obama. Going up against an incumbent is a tough gig. But his polling numbers and corruption scandals and horrible ineffective foreign policy gives her an advantage. She will be the Ted Kennedy to Obama’s Carter..and will most likely fair much better.

This just in, Hillary asks Palestinians and Jews to get along, and asks North Korea to cease their nuclear program. Consider it done.

Nobody listens to hillary, not even bill. She will end up being as incompetent as albright as a sec. of state. Obama just got her out of the way for 2012 but she is the least of his problems now.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? We are talking about Iran!! Ahmadinejad is a complete nut case. he denies the Holocaust took place, wants Israel wiped of the map, has claimed there are no homosexuals in Iran and is itching for a nuke. Maybe if Hilary asks him really really nicely he will play nice. I swear this whole administration gets dumber by the day!!!

I agree with Hilliary Clinton to a point.
Most candidates who are running for government office are generally humbled and sobered once they get in because the Job is more difficult than they realized. You should not go into government leadership thinking you can please everyone. And this is the the advantage of NOT being a career politician because you can make right choices for long term results knowing your time is short.

Thank God for true leaders like Chris Christie can talk the talk and walk the walk. Once they get into office they stick with the plan regardless of the difficulty.

Can’t execute the innocent virgins you know. Seems like disney land to the robert yates, jeffery dalmer’s of the world. May god bless all of us in jesus name .amen.

Wouldn’t that be great!!! But it doesn’t really matter what order they run in, I think a brown paper sack would win in a land slide against these three stooges. That is unless the libs can pass their version of immigration reform and line their pockets with a dozen or more new “democratic” voters?
Way to go Hillarious, you point out that their country was founded as a “republic”. I thought that’s what this country was founded as? Yet we’re constantly referred to by our own politicians as a “democracy”. Hmmm. Maybe I’m just splitting hairs, dunno?

Are you kidding me, she is a woman and we all know how these people feel about women in that country. Why would she even make a comment like that if not to inflame them more. The fact that Obama allows her to talk to these people just makes me think he is setting her and this country up to fail.

This is something I have thought of, too.
How can a woman be an effective ambassador to countries who disdain women and consider them little more than property to be used for birthing sons? Their low opinion of women will only preclude them from seriously considering anything she says.
Also colors their opinion of the country that would send a woman as an ambassador. How to deal with such people?

That was Obama’s reason all along was to set her up for failure so all could see what a joke she really is. Neither Obama or Clinton care about this country as they will do anything to keep their elitist status, which includes selling us all down the tube as long as it helps them. After this election watch how Hillary starts to back stab Obama especially when there is a GOP controlled congress.

Since 1979 when the Iranian revolution took place and 52 American hostages were imprisoned for over a year. After many Iran attacks like the one that took place on Oct.23,1983 in Beirut,Lebanon that killed 241 Marines “The Peacekeepers” The “Government Stupid’s” of America have been hoping the people of Iran would arise and overthrow the RADICAL ISLAMIC JIHADIST that CONTROL Iran. What has happened is the people of Iran are more suppressed and the military has gotten stronger and is close to a Nuclear Weapon. So for almost thirty years OUR policies for Iran have FAILED. Now this lady Hillary is spouting off the same CRAP!!! What does Iran do at the USA and the west LAUGH’S LOUDER !!!!!!
