let me get this straight. I am a 62 year old retired teacher, and I knew a financial crisis was coming because I read, because I saw people getting mortgages I knew shouldn’t have such large mortgages, because I listen to Rush, Hannity, and Beck. But the lawmakers didn’t know it was coming? I guess that shows just how blind they are to reality or how stupid they are.

I’m no economist and I saw it coming. I got out of the stock market, cashed in my 401K and paid tax under Bush rates. I invested in gold and land, all before it came to the public’s attention. You have only to be able to read, to connect the dots.

they were all in private back rooms making handshake deals of favor and pull. practically ALL democrats and a VAST majority of republicans in office have already proven they are clueless as to the desires and true needs of their constituents.

a subject such as the economy must surely baffle them. time for some REAL CHANGE.

    REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!

Amen. Have you ever seen the curtain pulled back like this in your lifetime? Not only do we see the ugly face under the Democrat Party’s mask, but we now know we’ve all been played as chumps for years with the race card. I kind of giggle at myself when I think about all of the causes I have failed to support out of fear of being called a racist. That dog don’t hunt no more.

Please see my posts above–we have a really great guy, a CONSERVATIVE, but like most of us small business owners and patriots, he doesn’t have a lot of money. He beat out his nearest R challenger by only 111 votes although he had never run before and she had GOP support. The dems are spending LOTS on Clyburn–we need help here in SC-6! GOT to get this jerk (Clyburn) out of there. He thinks he “OWNS” that seat! The people here are amazing, buses full of people who “need help” with voting, then a poll worker goes in and “helps” them choose who they want. That, or they walk in off the church bus with a pre-marked sample ballot. The entitlement crowd sits out in their front yards en the route to the poll drinking beer with a huge handpainted wooden sign saying “Vote Clyburn”–meanwhile their kids attend school in the infamous “Corrider of Shame” (PBS documentary) and help make it hard for the kids who want to learn anything to be there.

Please, if you intend to make a difference this November, we need some help to get rid of the House arm-twister and palm greaser, Clyburn. He’s so full of it and himself and his voting record is the furthest left you can get. People say Pratt can’t win, I say he CAN, but only if this race goes national. Please, help us elect a 9-12 supporter and Oathkeeper to the House and unseat the idiot in the video above–support Jim Pratt!

If this simple plan was enacted our economy would begin to recover in weeks

If congress and the president were to have a window period of 0% capital gains tax on any real estate purchased it would get the investors to let loose of some of the trillions of dollars they are sitting on and buy property which will create jobs.

    * This should only be allowed for properties bought from the day it is passed moving forward for a window period of 3 months or 6 months or whatever. We should then analyze it and adjust the window as necessary. It should not be used for properties already owned because that would flood the market, we want people to want to buy instead of sell to create demand again so that prices will stabilize and consumers will begin to have confidence in their homes and begin to spend again to support the economy and create jobs.

    * This should qualify for any buyer of any property whether it be an investment, owner occupied or commercial. The goal is to get the big investors with all their cash on the sidelines to start buying to stimulate the recovery and also to make it widespread so to have a quick effect. This will bring quick money into the treasury by quickly creating jobs and consumer confidence.

    * The new property purchased should have no restrictions on when you sell it, if sold in 1 day, 1 year 10 years or 100 years it should be exempt from capital gains tax. This will be the quickest way to incentivize buyers, remember this is just a window period and we can adjust the window anytime either to avoid over heating or lack of desired results.

The largest commodity held by Americans is real estate and over the last 3 years as their home values dropped they lost confidence in their future. If home prices stabilize and slowly begin to increase again people will start regaining confidence, they will also hire builders, painters, landscapers, plumbers, Realtors, loan and mortgage officers etc. They will also spend on vacations, restaurants, new cars, etc. In my opinion, one mistake the current administration did was the cash for clunkers, why in the world would we incentivise people to put a monkey on their back in the form of a higher payment to purchase a depreciating asset when we could incentivise them to purchase property that typically can go up in value and then they would buy the car on their own along with other goods and services?

Another great reason to put the 0% window on the cap gains is because for all practical purposes there is no cap gains tax being collected now anyway because nobody is selling at a profit so there is little to lose and much to gain.

Also by doing this foreclosures will cease quickly and banks will begin lending again. Banks will realize that values have stabilized and not be so fearful of lending.

Sure, this will probably help the professional investor but most importantly it will create jobs for the guy who has to put food on the table for his children. We need to get the big money that the investors have buried back into the system and real estate is the best way because it will create a snowball effect of jobs.

It just really makes me ill to know that Frank and Dodd protected Fanny and Freddy at the expense of all Americans to take care of their friends that they placed in those jobs. Isn’t there any way that they can be prosecuted? I know in my heart that evil Dodd is resigning so he could not be hauled up in front of the ethics panel on the housing fiasco!

It has been happening since Obama took office, and it spread to the progressives in the house and senate! These bozos are clueless. This is just a feeble attempt to explain why they ignored for the first year the economy and instead shoved health care down our throats. Frankly it might be a could thing they didn’t turn their attention onto the economy. Think how bad things would be if the Democrats got serious about “helping” the economy. Anything these clowns decide to help ends up getting totally screwed up by the time they make sure the unions and their other special interest groups get helped out.

DUH! This just didn’t happen one night. I was flipping houses in CA up until 2005 when we all realized the there was going to be a big bust in the housing market because of all the cheap money available and the outrageous home prices. I bailed out in 2007 and just waited for this all to come crashing down. How can DC be so out of touch? Replace them all.

Why didn’t the leaders just ask Dodd and Frank, since they; started it. What amazes me is when are we going to hear a piece on just who runs Fanny and Freddy? Most staff that work there are Democrat and some Republicans. This is the job you get when you do Pelosi a favor and lose your seat in Congress.(Using that as an example). Love to hear Glenn Beck do that one!

And THIS article (featuring my idiot so-called representative) just demonstrates why we need to make sure his challenger, JIM PRATT, gets elected. Pratt is NOT a politician, he’s just a regular Constitution-loving Christian American small business owner with no money. The SCGOP is fine with the status quo–meaning Clyburn’s HUGE gerrymandered district–which is why they get not-so-nice replies to their requests for money from me these days. Well, that and their support of Lindsey Grahamnesty. Please, people, wake your neighbors and get behind those who espouse our values regardless of where they are running–their decisions affect us ALL. If you are as tired of Clyburn as we are here, Jim Pratt could use your support! Although we didn’t necessarily like the end result, the whole country got involved with Scott Brown. Pratt is NOT a Scott Brown, he’s a real conservative, but without party money he will need a Scott Brown-esque effort on our parts. RESTORE TRUST-DEFEAT Clyburn! Support PRATT!

Here’s another one for you: Clyburn was planning to retire a few years ago, until he realized they’d likely win the House and he would be “Whip”. He was intending to GIVE the seat to his daughter, Mignon, since appointed to the FCC by Obummer. He has lately been apointing other family members and friends to posts himself. Just this year he had a democrat challenger who was an honorable man, worthy of my conservative vote if I didn’t already have a conservative candidate (I’ve never voted dem in my life!) Would you believe he told this man, Gregory Brown, that a “real democrat would never run against a leader, a speaker, or a whip”??? Now, the words may be mixed up in that quote–not sure if he said whip before leader or speaker before whip or whatever–but those are the exact words used.
