CNN Calls Out Obama Campaign Over Romney Ad

The controversial and inaccurate anti-Romney ad from the Obama campaign hit another speed bump today as CNN attacked the ad.

During a live segment on Tuesday afternoon, Ashleigh Banfield unleashed on Obama campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt about the accuracy of the ad trying to link Romney to a steel plant that closed two years after Romney left Bain Capital. The CNN anchor pointed out the incorrect information in the ad as well as the “One Pinocchio” rating given to the ad by the Washington Post. Mr. LaBolt attempted to counter with typical campaign talking points, but was blunted at nearly every turn.

Banfield closes by admonishing the Obama campaign press secretary saying:

Keep it clean out there! For heaven’s sake.  We hate that crap on our television.

Be nice to each other. Pump your own guy up. Don’t tear the other guy down.

Watch the entire segment here:

When reached for comment about the segment, Ms. Banfield encouraged Blaze readers to watch again tomorrow as she promises to take on a Romney campaign representative over some questionable statements Mitt has been making about the employment numbers. Stay tuned.

That’s plausible, but wouldn’t count on it. The possible fault in that thinking is that the progressive agenda is out of the bag regardless of the candidate and the Clintons know it. Look for more push-back from the likes of CNN who is on the ratings ropes and struggling for existence. It’s important that any message from conservatives include the progressive agenda, not just POTUS Obama. Rumors of Clinton replacing Biden are a joke – I doubt she would bail him out after the 2008 deal.

He keeps saying “Is [Romney's] economic policy the one that you want?” OK, fair enough question. So she should have asked, “And what’s Obama done for the economy? Do we want that for another 4 years? You talk about the middle class. What has Obama done for the middle class?” Obama doesn’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to the economy. He has no standing to criticize Romney on economic policies. So what that Bain execs had a golden parachute? What does that have to do with this failed steel company? So what that they profited even if this company failed. Main, that’s smart business. Profit if a company succeeds or fails. Seems to me that I would want someone who could figure that out to run our economy. What’s wrong with Bain being in business for profit and not creating jobs? Nothing! When people go into business, their incentive is to make money, not create jobs. Creating jobs is a by product of making money. No one, and I mean, no one goes into business with a goal of “Gee, I want to create x many jobs.” THEY WANT TO MAKE MONEY!!! And the libs and Obama and his minions want to make that something obscene. But it’s not–it’s what sets the US apart from any other country or civilization that ever existed–capitalism! When anyone has the potential to create wealth.

You hit the nail squarely on the head !! People go into business to make money for themselves. Their blood sweat and tears go into making the company grown and have a profit. If somewhere along the line they are fortunate enough that the company reaches a point where employees must be added, its only then that they create jobs. These bleeding heart libs dont want to accept the fact that in business just like in life we have success and we have failures. BTW that is how people GROW you learn by your mistakes — at least should learn. But our socialist in the WH doesnt want anyone to experience any sort of pain –at least while there are American taxpayers to share the burden for all the unwashed and willfully unemployed.

What would you expect from a candidate that hates America and everything it represents
This man only wants to make the idea of making money evil. This moron forgets is that if a company does not profit it can’t weather down turns or keep employees. If a company needs to lay off people to make it profitable then that is life. If a company is not profitable then all the employees loose not just the ones that produce less or cost too much. Don’t forget the owners loose much more because they place their own capital (money for all those left leaning, communists, socialists, progressives or marxist) at risk with the hope of creating profit for themselves and growing their business. They loose the income created by the business, their initial investment and possible much more. Businesses take risk to create opportunity for themselves and their employees. If there is no possibility of reward why would anyone take the risk.
If a company is following all the laws and treating its employees the way they should there is no such thing as too much profit. I don‘t hear anyone calling of Obama’s corporate friends evil. Didn’t he just attend a private dinner with his hollywood wealthy at $50,000.00 per plate. Where is the outcry from the left at this? Using their ridiculous logic, they obviously make too much money in the movie business if they can spend a years salary just to hob knob with the commander in thief.

If Mitt Romney is a “job destroyer,” that’s what we need to cut jobs out of a bloated, inefficient, and expensive Federal workforce. If we are going to live within our means as a nation, we will have to reduce Federal jobs, as well as cut entitlements and wasteful spending. Romney is the best bet to turn around and save the Federal government.

This could come in handy in D.C. I hate to see the unemployment numbers go up, but with Romney opening up energy resources the economy will be growing again so there will be plenty of private jobs for all the sloths we live off our tax money.

Not only that but the remaining Federal employees must be made to WORK for their living. Ever been to the Social Security Office? It’s like watching a snail race.

In government employee circles, the motto seems to be do the least work you can get away withm and demand the highest pay possible. Welcome to Frande, Greece, Italy, Spain and every other country with inefficient and bloated government bureaucracy.

The gov. hires 4 guards to watch defunct aircraft to thwart theft of parts.
Soon someone realizes that these guards needs a supervisor and he needs a secretary.
Because no one is watching the supervisor, an upper level supervisor is appointed and he needs two secretaries to function. Realizing there are more sites, more guards, and supervisors are appointed by the upper level supervisor. The job is bigger so the supervisor needs an assistant. The assistant needs two secretaries to handle his paperwork coming in from all the guards.
Congress soon realizes that it must create a department of defunct aircraft and soon a whole bureaucracy is created wirh hundreds of managers and secretaries just because someone wanted thwart the theft of parts from worn out and discarded aircraft. The head of the new bureaucrocacy is soon elevated to the president’s cabinet. He becomes the secretary of defunct and discarded aircraft.

Before it’s over, 4 guards turns into a gigantic, bloated ,inefficient government entity AT THE TAXPAYER’S EXPENSE.
