CNN Enhances Zimmerman 911 Call Again — And Reporter Now Doubts Racial Slur Used

Recently, CNN enhanced audio of George Zimmerman — the man who shot Trayvon Martin — to try to determine if he did, in fact, use a racial slur while calling police on the night of the shooting. Back then, it sounded like Zimmerman might have used the phrase “fu**ing coons,” and his critics have cited it as evidence of a racially-motivated attack. But now CNN has enhanced the audio again, and the reporter is casting doubts that the term was used.

“It certainly sounds like that word to me,” Gary Tuckman said when the audio was first enhanced. But after the latest enhancement, he’s not so sure:

“Now it does sound less like that racial slur. … From listening in this room, and this is a state-of-the-art room, it doesn’t sound like that slur anymore. It sounds like … we‘re hearing the swear word at first and then the word ’cold.’ And the reason some say that would be relevant, is because it was unseasonably cold  in Florida that night and raining.”

The audio expert agreed it sounded like “cold,” and said the new method gets rid of a lot more background noise but doesn’t change the voice or words.

      News reporters and journalists I believe take an oath of unbiased reporting as a condition of employment. The initial distorting of facts (lying) to hide w what really happened is such an insult.       Why so that all this crap can been strung out even longer. The Zimmerman’s should not do anything to the Martins. Regardless of what happened and what went down the Martins have lost their son and the Zimmerman’s have been put through hell as well. George has killed another human being regardless of what the situation is that kind of thing can eat you alive inside. I think both sides have suffered enough and to lash out at the martins and perpetuate the issue more will not bring the Martins boy back and will not make the Zimmerman’s whole again either. If anyone needs to be sued its the media, and the others out there fueling this fire and whipping everyone up into a frenzy. Rest assured there will be some other big story that comes up and the vultures in the media will be leaving this story to die and moving on to attack the next big thing and this thing will be all forgotten by most except those in the Martin and Zimmerman family

      Maybe the entire media can do a hard-hitting, detailed expose on how a tall male person of color “acted stupidly” in assaulting a sentinel of an established community, that community fought back, and was branded terrorist and vilified in the press.

      WHO CARES WHAT ZIMMERMAN MAY NOT HAVE SAID

      It did not give Trayvon Martin the right to attack Zimmerman, smash Zimmerman’s nose, knock Zimmerman to the ground and smash Zimmerman’s head into the cement sidewalk. If Zimmerman did not have his handgun, Martin could have killed Zimmerman and this incident would never even been reported. The Sanford police would have ruled Zimmerman’s killing as suspicious.

      Obama is responsible for this shooting and Martin‘s blood is on Obama’s hands.

      Richard Jewell was railroaded by the MSM in the aftermath of the Atlanta Olympics bombing. His life was destroyed by the media “deciding” he was the bomber. The same thing is happening today with Zimmerman.

      I can understand people like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Jeremiah Wright taking advantage of the Trayvon Martin shooting to ferment racial hatred—it’s what they do, it’s how they make a living. The media, on the other hand should report facts, not “create them.”

      A closer look at un-doctored/edited audio and video footage has revealed Zimmerman does have a wound on the back of his head, didn’t use a racial slur, wasn’t sounding like a vigilante, and did return to his vehicle when told by the dispatcher to not follow Martin.

      The MSM deliberately tried to manufacture a hate crime where none existed. Where is the outrage? If this were Fox News, you’d better believe there would be outrage. There would be calls for boycotts and FCC investigations.

      It is my guess that it is only because Mr. Zimmerman’s attorney has discussed the issue of defamation of character with all of the major news agencies, that we are starting to hear some of the actual facts. I hope his attorney does purse lawsuits against everyone – Congressmen and women, White House, the news agencies and, of course, Sharpton, Jackson, New Black Panthers etc. Who knows how much Mr. Zimmerman’s life has been destroyed and how much lifelong security he and his family will need before this debacle is over, IMHO.

      We heard on the news that Trayvon went over to visit his Father and his Fathers girlfriend. So I guess Trayvon was living with his Mother. On the news we are only seeing Trayvons Mother and Father, acting like they live in the same house and Trayvon was living in a 2 parent family. Why aren’t we seeing the girl friend in all the MSM news or with Al and Jessie? Are they ashamed of something?

    Hey even before, some people here on this board and all over the internet were already trying Zimmerman in the court of public opinion. But this is what usually happens. It also is what lands some innocent people in prison for years and even puts some to death.

    I bet the same ones who wanted to just string this man up without a trial are the ones who decry the death penalty, too (even for actual criminals). Hypocrites if they are.

    CNN is likely backtracking now to save its own butt–not because they really want the truth. They also know the damage has already been done and cannot be undone.

    I would wish they’d be ashamed of themselves, but I honestly doubt they are. In fact, they are probably all patting themselves on their backs for a “job well done!”

    If Zimmerman is innocent and he’s killed or imprisoned, either way–his blood will be on their hands and they’ll never ever be able to wash it off. They can pretend it’s not there, but it will stain them forever.

      No Doubt, this is dispicable ! My Liberal Mom was even outraged after having found out that NBC doctored the tapes of the 911 call. However, she still refuses to believe there is a deeper agenda at work. I am sure she will find this just as disgusting. This jagoff of a reporter was so sure he was hearing racial slurs when he heard it before, almost in complete joy. Now, he won’t commit to what the word is, as if his racial war time clock won’t allow him.

      As another person posted before, there is already blood on these news outlets hands. I have been reading a great deal of African American postings, and they are outraged and many are demanding a violent uprise. I am guessing this is why the little gangster thug put his elbow in my back on the bus and refused to move it, just wanting me to open my mouth so he had an excuse to act out as an animal. Or the next day, when a black rider on the bus decided to blast his radio as loud as it would go, annoying every person riding, and not a single black male stepping up to tell him to turn it down.       Personally I think the administration put the “hit” out on Zimmerman with the media. Why else would Bahama weigh in on this particular case and not the thousands of others that have transpired during his term?? Just like it should, the truth is coming out, and it shows a different story than we have been fed by MSM.       Because it’s a non story. He isn’t being courtmartialed, they’re holding a hearing to decide if he should be administratively discharged. And what he did is a clear violation of military regulations. And not only did he violate those regulations repeatedly, but he was warned multiple times about it as far back as 2010.

    In addition to the media, the printed word in the form of gossip papers to the front cover pages of leading magazines needs to stop flashing pictures of a 12 to 14 year old Trayvon Martin. You can’t get through the check out line at a grocery store without seeing his middle school mug photo literally everywhere. This kid was not a baby faced boy….he was 6′ 2 or 3 young adult complete with tatoos, gold teeth and a filthy mouth. I wonder if Charles Manson would be in jail today if the the MSM and his sympathizers had controlled his public photo shot presence of him at 12 or 14. The way this is being peddled is somewhere between false information to bare face lying.

      Never a more true statement! There will never be a fair trial if in fact there is a need for a trial to begin with. This so called mistake has ony raised the ratings of the show, and have shown that because of these types of mistakes that NO ONE really knows for sure. This case may be settled by the rule; Last Liar Left Standing. All of this marching and hoody wear is a load of crap that actually HURTS the ability to seek the truth. When jesse, Al, and Zuku started in with their threats they became part of the problem not the solution. Too Stupid to wait on the courts they jumped to conclusions involked the race card ( the only one they know) and set out to destroy any chance of finding the truth. I say let them burn down their neighborhoods and then live in the streets to suffer the consequence of their collective stupidity

      Factually they had a low of 53 and a high of 69 on Feb 26 in Sanford, FL. I suspect it was closer to 53 when he was shot since it was in the evening. That’s actually a bit chilly in FL especially with a dew point of 74% which they also had that evening.

      The media reported it was in the 80′s and that was why he look suspicious in a hoodie. If it was in the low 50′s and raining, it would look a lot less suspicious. Of course hunkering down in the bushes next to apartments anytime looks suspicious.

      A commenter referred to CNN and then to “ethical journalism.” I guess I’d use the words “professional” or “objective” journalism. That would have meant that CNN would be cautious in its early reporting in the face of lack of sourcing.

      But, CNN accepted the mantra that the incident was entirely racist, that Martin was entirely innocent and that Zimmerman was a big white racist murderer. Since then, the “facts” have changed, and the situation still isn’t clear.

      Sure, Zimmerman may still be charged with something under Florida law. But, only the current investigators ,presumablo, can get as accurate information as humanly possible on just what happened and why.

      Meanwhile, Obama and any other prominent person should keep quiet. Once the facts and a conclusion are known, then it would be the time to say what people think about innocence or guilt.

    George Zimmerman doesn’t stand a chance with Sharpton, Jackson, Obummer, Holder and the Black Panthers spewing hateful trash. They are instigators and should be charged with any and all threats they have made regarding Zimmerman. Zimmerman does get a fair trial in this country and will be judged by his peers. I have always thought Zimmerman could not of been guilty in this matter because he was never arrested by the police department after the incident. We will see how this unwraps and hopefully the unrest will stop.

      There will be nothing swift about this investigation. Obama and company need to play this out as long as they can. If Zimmerman gets off or even gets a manslaughter conviction….look out. The “brothers” of Trayvon Martin will take to the streets and not just in Florida. Ready for another Watts? Blacks are already frothing at the mouths with blood in their eyes and beating up old defenseless people hundreds of miles away from where this happened. Sharpton should be charged with inciting violence, assaults and attempted murders. I pity white people who live in places like and Detroit Chicago, and St. Louis.

    Now we can expect Toure`, Jesse Jackson, Sharpton and other race baiters to start calling CNN racist. Furthermore, they will be accused of covering for the white man to just stir more unnecessary trouble.
    I agree with GONZO below, and we should all step back and wait for the investigation to be completed and allow the chips to fall where they should. I cannot understand this desire to take sides in a crime and root as if it is one’s favorite football team.

Even after the CNN guy hears it for himself he is reluctant to admit what was clearly said. That last fact is the most disturbing part of all of this case…CNN WANTS ZIMMERMAN GUILTY.
