the wife hunted and trapped fur with us for years, and we tanned our own fur too, back when coon hides went $60 each and you could make it thru a hard Winter on what you earned trapping. after 2 yrs of hard work, she made her own coyote fur coat and proudly dared wear it to Chicago. some moron screaming at her ran up with a little bucket of what looked like red paint for blood and we never saw the wife move so fast, the protester was wearing the gunk and the wife had a hand to the woman’s throat. nope, she didn’t hurt the moron, just scared her sick into tears. she let the moron know SHE harvested that fur, SHE tanned that fur, SHE sewed her own coat and those animals kept HER warm. (and she could do the same to that woman!) God bless her, so so proud of that ol’ farm gal.

I am no animal “rights” freak, Animals really don’t have rights when it comes right down to it. Humans are endowed with rights. These wacks have a problem with animal rights, but I would venture a guess that, although “FUR IS MURDER”, abortion, most likely, is not.
To paraphrase a famous cook, “If you’re dumber than me, and slower than me, well, pass the salt”.
And fur is warm. That’s why animals wear it.

Years ago a PETA spokeswoman, with tears in her eyes stated “People talk about the six million jews that died in the holocaust, but billions of chickens are butchered for the roasting pan in this country every year. PETA is and has been out of touch with sanity for a long while.

I eat meat, but I’m all for animal rights. The way I see it, animals have always been used as food by humans but they deserve to be treated with more dignity. A cow or a pig has a single shot at life just like any human and if it has to die in the end to feed us it deserves a comfortable life, at least. It’s not just a thing.

Also, I‘m totally against PETA because they’re doing more harm than good for animal rights. They’re just attention whores and nothing more. They collect animals from shelters to put them to death and call pet ownership slavery for crying out loud.

      Um, it‘s fur that’s murder.

Abortion is a choice of convenience that excises a non-viable organic specimen from the uterus of a modern, thinking, progressive woman who is constitutionally entitled to make that choice at any point during a post-fertilization event, without hindrance from law or medical circumstances or religious mores.
