However, I started a long time back also reading the Fox News website (mainly because cnn seemed mostly to report the same thing and Fox had stories I hadn’t heard of elsewhere).
Now I avoid cnn, I think there message is compromised – Fox actually really is the Fair and Balanced news network, even if they are right of center, they still want spirited debate from both sides, which is what it should really be about.

This isn’t the only instance of Beck being accurate and correct on issues, of course; it‘s just the latest in a long line of reports which show Beck has credibility and isn’t an “extremist” in the least. Liberals and some so-called “conservatives” like Kristol and Frum, are pale imitations, called Neo-Cons. When, pray tell, did we EVER get accuracy from either one of them?

I have 2 reasons….#1.I cut off my cable TV in November, I can get Glenn beck on The Blaze, and on my Ipod. Although not getting Fox News is a bummer. #2.I feel that I am educated enough on what is really going on that I do not feel like I NEEED his daily program. Like Glenn suggests often, I educate myself and look for facts.
I feel many people have done the latter. They no longer need to be woken up, they are awake and doing something about it. I think this has been Glenn’s goal all along, aside from making money!

Why don’t they hire a non-biased research company to ask audiences why they are leaving CNN? They would get an earful about their left-leaning slant in reporting the news. Posted on March 7, 2011 at 7:30pmI quit watching HLN when they gave the evening primetime slots to Nancy Grace and Joy Behar. I finally gave up on CNN when they replaced Larry King with the smart-ass Mr. Morgan. I have completely given up on ever getting any responsible news from PBS or NPR. The one thing all of the news outlets lose sight of is that discrediting anyone who does not agree with them is not their job. There job is reporting news, not discrediting their opposition. I am not going to stop watching a program that exposes me to an interesting point of view just because the liberal dominated media tries to convince me not to watch it. In fact, I will probably tune in just to see what upsets them so much. I would never have started watching FNC most of the time if the other news outlets had been honest in their reporting. I don’t think Glenn Beck is the end-all authority on everything he talks about, but I find that his info makes me think more and look deeper into the news stories I am exposed to. I do not think that the management of FNC is going to fly off the handle and run off one of their network’s most popular personalities. By the same token, I think Beck should give less attention to the morality stuff he preaches and get back to what draws the crowds, exposing corruption in government. His audience should not be preached to, they should be informed of those activities which threaten their freedom. Jus‘ sayin’!

In my most humble blessed opinion, when you will stand in the fire and face the very evils we run from every day I dont mind if you get yo’ preach on! As Jesse would say.
I would rather a man be honest in his own self recognition and not agree with him 100% than to have a man who lies to me to get along. Bottom line- I will stand by Beck. Preach on!

As a matter of fact, isn’t there a Saudi who is somewhere in the pyramid above Glenn Beck within the Fox News entourage? And perhaps he isn‘t one of the O’Reilly / Hannity / VanSusteren clique, who are, on a consistent basis, retracting / appeasing the radical Muslims with “nicey-nicey” statements?

They know that what he says eventually will become true, because he has people doing research for him, whether they are on Capitol Hill or otherwise. When they cannot substantiate their accusations, there is nothing left for them to do, but name-calling and scrutinizing.

Posted on March 8, 2011 at 1:54pmI look at this and others stories in the media as smoke screens thrown up to keep people from looking at the real issues at hand, getting cuts to the budget, a limit on spending, and the removal or reversal of the health care con. The real issue at hand is to eliminate the appropriations that were hidden in the health care bill. To assume that the legislators didn’t know about this when they voted for the bill calls for a gullibility of epic proportions. I sincerely hope that Sean, Glenn, and Rush, (our only real voices in the media), don’t fall for the lefts attempted sidetracking of these vital issues. Let’s face facts, the American people were duped out of their children’s money by the socialist politicians and Obama by trickery included in the bill. Our three spokesmen need to be shouting from the roof tops how the Obama administration has snookered our citizens. Don’t address any of the smoke screen issues and pay attention to the slight of hand going on!
