CNN’s Piers Morgan Challenges Wasserman-Schultz‘s ’Extremist’ Characterization of Gov. Walker

The Democrats are still infuriated over Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker‘s victory in this week’s historic recall election. Lamentations from Howard Dean and random, emotional protesters, among other critics, have been strong. Some might even argue that denial has set for prominent figures in the Democratic establishment. Case-in-point: DNC Chair and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Last night, Schultz seemed unwilling to admit that Walker’s historic win was an all-out victory, as she told CNN’s Piers Morgan that it was “at least in part successful.” As Mediaite notes, though, the television host didn’t seem to be buying into her assessment of the obvious win for Republicans. Likewise, he didn’t agree with her “extremist” characterization of Walker:
“The President deployed his entire grassroots machinery on the ground in Wisconsin,” Wasserman Schultz argued, calling it “an unprecedented effort of grassroots in this recall,” though “we came up short of the ultimate goal.” She claimed that Democrats would still be able to “stop” Walker because of the gains in the State Senate, the bottom line of the night for her being that “Democrats are not going to just lie down and allow the middle class and workers to get run over.”
“You keep calling him this extremist who everyone is terrified of, but he won, he won considerably,” Morgan replied, adding that calling this “some kind of weird victory” seemed bizarre to him. “I’m certainly not going to call it a victory,” Wasserman Schultz replied, not agreeing with Morgan that this meant voters were “a bunch of angry extremists,” but that the explanation for their votes was that “voters look very differently at a recall than they do a normal election,” and for some reason they were “uncomfortable” [with] recalling Walker even though “they didn’t like his policies.
Watch the bizarre interaction for yourself, below:

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 10:11pmWhat’s interesting to me is that she failed to point out that Walker outspent his opponent 8 to 1 on his campaign. What’s also lost here is that 75% of Walker’s campaign money came from out of state, a scenario I’m sure the Founders never imagined. Would Walker have won if his opponent had 8 bucks for every 1 dollar Walker had, for TV ads, radio ads, mailers? Probably not. Like it or not in today’s world money equals votes, and Walker spend 23 bucks for each vote he got, while the Democrat spent 3.
Where did that money come from? Thank to Citizens United, we’ll never know. The mostly likely case is that that 8:1 advantage in funds – most of which came from out of state – where provided by only a handful of billionaires. Ten or fifteen guys maybe, and including some foreign investors manipulating our Democracy. But we’ll never know will we? There’s no way to know where the money came from.
Maybe this is your idea of Democracy. Not one person, one vote. But $20, one vote and at that rate, an investment of $100,000 in his campaign will yield a good return for a politician who will vote to lower your taxes in return.
Good luck friends. Those billionaires and foreign billionaires aren’t on your side. The Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves.

Hey JZS,
You got a problem with Citizens United?
But….but…..but…..the SCOTUS says it’s OK JZSaul. How can you possibly have a problem with something that just happens to be legal in this country?
And no JZSaul, it was not just money from a few Billionaires that went to Walkers campaign.
I sent him $20.00 myself, and I’m over a thousand miles from the “Land where democracy died”
That was the funniest clip I have seen in ages. I play it every time I want a chuckle.
That was the best twenty bucks I ever spent.
And JZSaul, it was not really 8 to 1 and you know it. Be honest with the folks for once, OK.
JZS, you still have not produced your manifesto for me, and you still have not acknowledged if you have read this book yet.

You don’t have to actually buy the book JZSaul, you can learn a lot just from the articles and excerpts on the website. Of course after you read all the free stuff, I’m sure your curiosity will have been piqued enough to want the rest of the story. And you needn’t take just my word for it, there are plenty of reviews on Amazon. The bad reviews are funny JZS, they sound just like you.

Seriously Speck, I know you want to respond to me, and put in my place, like many here. But if you have so little to offer that you have to invent stuff out of thin air simply to post some weak response to me, really, why bother? That puts you in the same league, minor league, as two or three other stalkers here, people weirdly obsessed with me.

We won’t even entertain your cries of unfairness JZS.
Because you fully support and defend abortion, (murder) by glibly parroting the phrase………..”Abortion just happens to be legal in this country, so it is not wrong.”
So by using your logic, Citizens United is not just legal, but it is good, and right.

As usual, she is full of hot air. But the most INTERESTING part here is not her [expected] talking points—it’s the fact that she once and for all dispels the myth of “grassroots” organizations for Obama unwittingly. If he “deployed” them and there was this huge “machine” sent there, they are NOT grassroots. Of course, we know that–she knows that–but Dems like her often get so comfortable in their b.s. talk and equally comfortable in believing that their intended audience is not smart enough to catch on that they slip up every once in a while and leak the truth. Debbie needs to go ahead and say what she really means—she is peeved that the voters are no longer buying what she and the progressives are selling. She is throwing a tantrum because she and her party are oh so close at completing their “transformation” and it is starting to fall apart.

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 11:09am“ a normal election ”….huh ? With our current Democrats, there are no “ normal” elections. There are only campaigns filled with lies and smears. Union mobs. MIC check hecklers. Glitter bomb hecklers. Vote- buying pandering. Constitutional malfeasance. Dysfunctional Occupiers. Anti-capitalism. 99% Big Lies. Hypocrisy . Smoke and Mirrors. Hidden records. That is now the new “ normal ” with the Obama Democrats.

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 11:08amThere was a old legend about a Viet Cong sniper that was such a bad shot, that nothing was done to eliminate him out of concern that a real sniper might be sent in replace him.
Cross your fingers that the Democrats leave DWS as their main sniper. She can’t hit anything.

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 11:08amTypical response of the radical leftists: live in denial, then spin and distort and claim racism, fanaticism and extremism on those who did not go with the left in their campaign of terror and hatered to unseat Walker. The PEOPLE have spoken across the board, and the lefts extremist message is now truly in danger.
Come Nov, we show them even more hard reality when DC is cleaned up and cleaned out.

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 1:44pmGiven, undisputed. The Jerk though really, really, really hates anything jewish, Israeli, or Zionist, probably all kosher food, Woody Allen(like most, even jews), and maybe even Nathan’s hot dogs on principle alone.

Posted on June 7, 2012 at 3:32pmLook, what was the chance that Pres. Obama’s Chief of Staff and V.P. Biden’s Chief of Staff were both ethnic Jews? What was the chance that both the Pres.’s and V.P.’s top economic advisers were both Jewish? What were the chances that the OMB Director was Jewish, his replacement was Jewish, and that the replacements, replacement, was Jewish? Need we go on, maybe look at the past Chairs of the Fed.?
These extraordinary, probability defying, facts are legitimate for discussion.

Some of the best people I have known have been jews and some of the most numbskulled wankers/skin heads who were not worth any effort were purported chirstians. Give it a rest.
