Code Pink Tries…and Fails…to Disrupt Romney Speech

Code Pink protesters attempted to disrupt Mitt Romney's presidential nominatin acceptance speech at the Republian National Convention Thursday night. (Image source: Twitter user @scarlett_0hara)

TAMPA, Fla. — Code Pink activists infiltrated the main Republican National Convention hall during Mitt Romney’s speech Thursday night and tried unsuccessfully to disrupt his remarks.

The chants of “people over profits!” happened early on in Romney‘s acceptance of his party’s nomination for president before they were quelled by chants of “U-S-A! U-S-A!”

Security quickly dragged the protesters out of the arena and Romney continued speaking without pause or any acknowledgement of what happened. He may not have even been aware there was a protest.

Code Pink tweeted about the incident: “BREAKING: 4 @CODEPINK activists speak out during Mitt Romney during his presidential candidate nomination acceptance speech.”

      Take note folks when hecklers chime in at “our” events “we” respond with “USA USA’ chants; the monsters handle hecklers by chanting “4 More Years” or chanting the Emperors name.

      How desperate can they get ? These tactics were tried in Wisconsin in an attempt to get Scott Walker removed in a recall election. We all know how that worked out. Maybe next they’ll handcuff themself to a tree or hold their breath until they get their way.

      Marxist/Leninist’s are taught by the state to despise their parents and look to the state as the parents of the collective. I would not have had them ushered out personally. I would have brought them on stage and allowed them to spew their Marxist/Leninist views and then allowed the crowd to tell them what they thought of their Marxist/Leninist doctrine. I would have allowed the crowd to usher them out the door, just so they could get a taste of what is going to happen to the remainder of the Marxist/Leninist’s in November…..
      I wonder what it would have felt like with those three Marxists/Leninist’s standing on stage at the Republican National Convention getting their butt ripped by the audience?

      Not sure I understand I thought this was the party and group who waves the constitution and defends the first amendment. The best thing for this country would be for real Americans to disrupt both conventions and make our bought and paid for politicians on both sides of the isle stop lying and start working on the real problems.

      Jrook, the 1st amendment protects free speech. When people try to shout over you and disrupt what you’re trying to say, that’s not free speech. That is disrespect of the other person’s natural right to speak their mind.

      It’s not gonna kill you to protest outside, or atleast wait until somebody is finished speaking.

This is one of the defining traits of the Left, a very primitive belief system they cling to that treats objects as if they have a life of their own.       As in “We are people who do not agree with what the prophets have said”

    You know what’s really funny?

    Conservatives see these brainless creatures as the opposition. We have no illusions, these communists are our enemy.

    Liberals however are not really sure what to think or do about these people. They are in a large part their base.

    Our convention is over, and except for a few brief moments they did nothing to disrupt it.

    However the liberals are about to have theirs, and not wanting to alienate their base they are going to be much more forgiving about these people. Many of them will make it inside the convention hall.

    OWS, Code Pink, Black Bloc, Black Panthers, Eco Freaks are all going to descend on the Democratic convention like a plague of locusts. All of them will be demanding attention, disrupting events, and making a fool of themselves, and in that environment the democratic party will be trying to convince America that they deserve 4 more years.

    This is gonna be entertaining.

      Bet you a nickle we won’t see or read anything about it in the MSM. It will almost certainly be heavily censored and edited to just show pink unicorns, flowers and “feel the love”. All speeches will be direct feed from the microphone without any crowd noises. All applause will be added in the editing room. Cameras will be focused only on the speaker or at appropriate persons / groups in the room.

    I was seated a few rows back from the Code Pink women.

    Towards the end of Rubio’s speech, David Shuster of MSNBC came out of nowhere and sat directly behind us. This was not a press area (sec 129). He had absolutely no reason to be there mingling with commoners. He was there because he knew somethign was about to happen, and he had to be ready for it

    When Romney got on and the protesters started shouting, Shuster and another colleague were IMMEDIATELY READY with their smartphones and started filming the security tackling the protesters. They were hoping to catch a security guard hurting the protesters and making a story out of it.

    5 minutes after they were ejected, Shuster said he was “good”, and he and his colleague left.

    I guarantee you MSNBC gave their credentials to those protesters, planted them, and then waited to film them getting “assaulted” to then try to slander the RNC security.

    Everyone should research if Shuster could be accounted for on TV when Romney started speaking. He was trying to make a story out of protesters they INTENTIONALLY gave passes to so they could rabble rouse.

    David Shuster is a snake.
