An American leftist women’s anti-war group has landed in Cairo to take up banners alongside Egyptians as they fight for the future of their country. In all of the chaos today, our friends at Business Insider noticed this:
According to their website, the group’s nine-person “international solidarity delegation” has been “in the streets with the Egyptian people for the last five days.” On Thursday, the group actually plans to picket outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, though their presence in Egypt is purely accidental:
The international CODEPINK delegation had been en route to Gaza via Egypt but with the Rafah border closed they are unable to enter Gaza, and remain in Cairo. The activists will stay in Cairo until they can safely make their way to Gaza, where they intend to continue their delegation for peace. The delegation includes people from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Switzerland and India. This is CODEPINK’s ninth trip to Egypt and Gaza in the past two years.
The group is demanding that President Obama, the U.S. State Department and Congress cease monetary and military assistance to “criminal” President Hosni Mubarak.
One of the group’s founders also insisted they’re also ready to step in front of any microphone.

It’s not the first time the pink ladies have protested in Cairo. In 2009, the group followed President Obama to protest outside his outreach remarks to the Muslim world.

Posted on February 2, 2011 at 6:11pmThe consolidation of those who want to control others is speeding up. Blindly they embrace any group that seems headed in the same general direction… but do they understand that those who use others as a means to their ends will eventually destroy anyone who is not headed to the same place?

Posted on February 2, 2011 at 5:54pmChalk another one up for Beck… he called this just the other day!
These radical groups in the US are dangerous, I dont care what their mission statement says. These people are looking for a fight go out of their way to find one like in Egyt and mos ago with the flotilla incident.
Where are Justice Dept DHS? You are more concerned with folks expressing their views civily within the rule of law on sites like The Blaze, Big Government.com and MY SITE while the real trouble makers are at work!
The entire system is corrupt to the core with Code Pinks, SDS, unions bias corporations and their radical left wing ilk.
STOP playing their game and start playing your game through http://www.savingtherepublic.com

Continue their delegation for peace – in Gaza – obviously we know for which side. Hope DHS is watching every one of these pink flamingos‘ and put’s them on the No Fly List so they don’t get to bring back their Gaza brainwashing. If DHS does let them back in, they should be questioned thouroughly about their ‘peace meetings’ in Gaza. They don’t speak for the US. Sheesh!!!

Report Post »This shows how stupid the progressive / liberal mind is. They will support and rally behind people that will immediately kill them. If Shira law is implemented the first people gone will be the abhorrent lifestyles (as defined by Islamic Religion) without any questions. Gays, Environmentalist, and Feminist are all done for. I always chuckled and felt uncomfortable when I heard people say Liberalism is a mental disorder, but if it walks like a duck talks like a duck and acts like moron it is a moron.

Posted on February 2, 2011 at 6:12pmYou mean they aren’t spies dressed up in pink so they can fit in with the crowd? I bet they have video equipment, satellite phones and all sorts of spy equipment hidden in the letters in that very carefully made banner they are carrying – sort of a spur of the moment pink fabric with carefully cut out black letters available at any Walmart store in Egypt type banner. How sweet…..

Posted on February 3, 2011 at 8:07amLook, we all know these far-left anti-American zealots make no sense. They are traitors, and cowards. We know they’re idiots. They have the freedom to undermind, openly, our US Rebublic, then go over to the ME and support people who would stone them for even once voicing their nonsense. Do they think they would have any freedom under Sharia? They want to take the US down, but are too stupid to think ahead to what life would be like wearing a burqua.

Posted on February 2, 2011 at 5:38pmThat sounds about right. Code Pink is one of the worst organizations in this country. I was at the airport one time waiting to get on my flight. There was a group of around 25 code pink people getting on the same flight. They were making a scene until security arrived. What a horrible group. Maybe they’ll get some of what Anderson Cooper got earlier.

Did they really get to fly to Egypt? If yes, I
wonder how and why Americans are allowed to go through Customs and get to Cairo when it is not suppose to be allowed – wonder who pulled those strings.
