Posted on October 19, 2010 at 8:35pmI have to admit that I watched The View for many years. At first, I liked it, but after Rosie O’Donnell joined the cast, it became nothing but a conservative bashing fest. At that point, I continued to watch it waiting for the train wreck. I also felt I was supporting Elisabeth, who was the only one to do her homework and was pleasant to the guests. The others have all been extremely rude to conservatives over the years. I had to stop watching when Elisabeth started “reaching across the aisle” and defending Obama and other liberals and socialists. It’s not that she had much choice, because she was constantly bullied by her co-hosts and by the audience, but I still don‘t like that she has turned her back on what’s right in order to get along with the lefties.

Posted on October 19, 2010 at 11:31pmWilliam F. Buckley Jr. also talked of the “fever swamps” filled with the far right‘s and left’s conspiracy theorists, denialists, and polarizers. If self professed “true conservatives” keep going the way they are, they will drag us all into the swamps with them, only damaging conservatism and America’s honor.

Posted on October 19, 2010 at 9:53pmYeah I don’t think that at least Stewart is as liberal as most here think. He seems to make fun of everyone pretty equally and I think especially lately he is realizing that even though his show operates as a comedy program that he his taken seriously in some aspects because he is usually talking about very serious subjects.

It’s so amusing to me the overwhelming amount of people on this site who automatically dismiss and say the most inacurate “talking points” about these guys. They can’t even see the irony of how they are doing the exact thing they slam the folks on MSNBC for doing. Especially John Stewart (I don‘t really watch Colbert because he’s not as funny to me), he is both funny and has some actual good points from time to time. You don’t have to agree with him, as I don’t, to laugh and enjoy his show. It‘s a shame more people here can’t just lighten up and enjoy things from time to time. Not everything with an R is accurate, correct and great. From time to time we ALL deserve to be made fun of.

Posted on October 19, 2010 at 8:01pmThese women are a disgrace to their sex. What man watching them would ever want to get married if he thought women were like that. It’s a good thing Elizabeth is there to remind us that women can be nice. It’s not enough for me to watch that horrible program, of course, but I can stand isolated clips without vomiting.
I don‘t like Colbert’s act, but he was clearly gently digging at them for being rude and silly, so good for him.

Posted on October 19, 2010 at 8:00pmThey weren’t being rude, they simply reacted as any liberal reacts when they cannot logically debate an issue.

Posted on October 20, 2010 at 2:36amNothing is ever serious with any of these people. I laughed at them when the were mainstream comdians and im laughing at them more and more as time passes. I think they are getting funnier.
Stephen is a special case. I find him funny. I laugh at him a lot. There is nothing he says ever that would make me take him sriously. They are comedians not pundits or ideologists. they are performing to make you laugh, get it?
