You can tell March Madness is not too far away.
Before Xavier’s close 86-83 overtime win against Dayton Saturday amped CBS Sports announcer James Bates took a tumble he soon will not forget as it occurred mid-sentence during the broadcast’s live pre-game show.
Yahoo! Sports notes that the fall may not have had too much of an effect on Bates for he’s been knocked down before, especially during his days as an all-SEC linebacker at Florida and a captain of the Gators’ 1996 national championship team.

Posted on February 22, 2012 at 8:35amI‘m no TV sports fan and I don’t know the guy who fell. I also dont know who the hell writes your headlines- that in this case is at best a lie. The stool he was sitting on broke. That’s it. Has the Blaze now hooked up with MSNBC or what?

Report Post »Well I admit to clicking the story and commenting. I didn’t bother watching the video As for why I would do that is actually my business, and last I checked I still have a right to free speech, so you can just take a long walk on a very short pier.

Posted on February 22, 2012 at 7:08amNope, in a unionized stool factory. The glue guys must have been on break.

Posted on February 22, 2012 at 8:33pmThe union stick-stick-the-label-on-the-bottom-of-the-seat guy noticed it didn’t have any glue. But it wasn’t his job, so he didn’t say anything.

Posted on February 21, 2012 at 11:58pmThis is exactly why we have OSHA!!! We need to call an immediate hearing in Congress and ban these unsafe stools — the man could have been killed!!!
I wonder…
