Earlier this week, Brian Sack (GBTV’s chief humorist) and Jack (the BS of A’s showrunner) stopped by Glenn’s radio studio to offer some insights into the show:
The B.S. of A crew has also offered up a sneak peek at the kind of comedy they will be delivering to the GBTV audience:
For of these, well, “insights,” check out the B.S. of A, tonight on GBTV.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:01pmYou are not going to win over all the people you will have those who love it and those who hate it, those who see the glass half full and those who see it half empty, haters are haters. This is like any other television show if you don’t like it change the channel. I am excited to see Brian work his magic, I enjoy watching him on the Mercury Theater and like his sense of humor. Good Job Brian!!

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 11:08pmI can’t stand Brian Sack. The guy isn’t funny. I‘m a GBTV member and when he has his short videos during Glenn’s radio breaks I just don’t turn off the sound I log out and wait until it is safe to return. The guy is a complete douche and isn’t funny at all. He’s an obnoxious big mouth.
FIRE BRIAN SACK.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:51pmThe Sandusky case will play out over the next year. I think it is premature for any of us to be throwing bombs when the facts are not completely out there. Paterno is an institution at Penn State, right or wrong, the students reacted to his firing in protest. Once the timelines of abuse are established, and we know who knew what and when, and reacted as they did, then should we make conclusions. The court of public opinion is not the court that determines guilt or innocence. The Constitution of The United States and the Constitution of Pennsylvania will be the arbiter of who is punished for these evil acts on innocent children. We can express moral outrage but let’s be careful to not be throwing a rope over a high tree branch until we know all of the facts…

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:31pmI think Brian Sack would make a great reporter using his dry sarcasm incorporating irony into his work. But to be truthful, a lot of what he does is not funny at all and it does not make me laugh. Just because I like Beck doesn’t mean I like everything he produces. I am a huge fan of dry humor but Sack has done nothing for me and I doubt if he will get any better. I will watch a few times, but if he makes me wince, I will punch out quickly.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 7:14pmAlthough I DO wish him a grand “break-a-leg” for the show, I don‘t really find him that funny from what I’ve seen so far….and I love dry humor. As with you, Buckeyemom1776, I’ll give him a few views just to see. But…..that‘s why there’s chocolate and vanilla. :)

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:07pmI’m a GBTV member and I love what Beck has done, but I really get frustrated with him bragging on his shows about how great they are, how great his books are, his stories are. Yet, when you go look at them and are paying to see his shows, it’s usually a big let down and I hate it for him. Someone else needs to be at the helm of GBTV special advertising, Glenn sucks at it and turns me completely off. Sacks is funnier and I trust his reviews more.
Report Post »COFemale
Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:23pmApparently, we aren’t watching the same shows or reading the same books, as I have not been disappointed at all. If you read as many books as Glenn does, perhaps you could see him in a different light and I am not talking about reading only his books. As much as this pains me to say, sometimes you have to read the leftist materials. It may make you sick, but at least you know who to throw up on.
What is wrong with tooting your own horn, I mean if you won’t do it who will? Glenn has an excellent track record when it comes to calling what is going to happen. It does not take a rocket scientist to see these things. I’ve been saying some of the same things Glenn does all my life. I grew up during the cold war; I was in Florida during the Bay of Pigs incident. If you know history, it would not be hard to predict. Dr. Phil says it best, “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. The only way you can change from the prediction of bad behavior is to consistently change to good behavior; you need to create a new history.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:37pmAs far as Glenn advertising, I see nothing wrong as it parallel’s his speaking to being prepared. The only flaw I see in the freeze dried food is you need water. If the water supply is tainted then you need to have bottled water on hand and have a way to purify your own water.
When I lived in Turkey we had to do exactly that. Turks were notorious for running sewer lines parallel with water lines and you never knew which was on top. If I remember correctly we had to drop 5 to 6 drops of Clorox for every five gallons of water and let it sit for 30 minutes before use. Thus our 30 gallon jug contained 30 drops of Clorox. I bragged I had the whitest innards when I returned back to the states. When I first arrived they told us to only drink bottled water; telling us not to even brush our teeth with the water. I forgot one time and next thing I knew I had a case of the TT’s (Turkish Trots) and I only rinsed my toothbrush and swigged a little water to rinse. I did not even sallow any water. Of course, I cured it real fast by eating peanut butter sandwiches; excellent conspirator. Yeah, I know, way too much info, but it is good advice.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 5:05pmI agree that some of Glenn‘s stuff doesn’t live up to the hype. I went to see the Christmas Sweater; it was worth maybe $15-$20 a seat, not the $75 I had to pay. And the Overton Window was ok, but, compared to, say, Abuse of Power by Michael Savage, Overton really suffers; and Savage didn’t have a ghost/co-writer.
That said, I‘ve always loved Glenn’s radio show.

Rioting over a “FOOTBALL COACH” getting fired and not celebrating a child molestor getting caught? These DUMB kids are upside down, and so is the news van now! Congrats to all you Penn State parents who are paying for that crap! Expell them all and take all those phones into evidence for the criminal case. That would shake them up when they realize standing by and taking video of a criminal act could cause their phone to be taken as evidence.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:02pmThe crimes committed are horrible and that is an understatement. From what I understand, Sandusky was fired years ago for alleged sexual involvement with children. I say alleged only because there were never any charges brought up…we all know it happened. Then the grad assistant caught Sandusky performing on a 10 year old in the shower and reported it to Paterno. Paterno went to the administration and reported it. Was Sandusky part of the coaching staff at that point? No. He was a “retired” coach that was allowed access to the facilities by administration. I’m not defending Paterno, but the media is making it sound as though Sandusky was still the football coach and Paterno did nothing after learning about the alleged assaults. He went to administration and reported what he was told, didn’t he? Why didn’t the GA go to the authorities? Did the administration report it to law enforcement after Paterno reported it to them? It seems to me that the media is steamrolling Paterno and making it seem like he knew about it and covered it up. What I’m reading and seeing is that Paterno did report it. I hate what happened to those kids. I’m not a Penn St. fan, I’m trying to separate facts from what the media is reporting.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 11:53amFactually incorrect. The defensive coach who saw one incident (victim #6) did report it to Paterno, who didn’t report it to the cops but instead, reported it to PSU admin who didn’t report it to the cops.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:11pmActually your factually incorect. It was reported to police who investigated and turned over their findings to the DA who elected not to proceed withe case for lack of evidence. So, this being true, how is Joe’s termination and the destruction of his legacy and reputation justified? To who exactly was he suppose to report it to further and why would he when the DA said their wasn’t enough evidence?
What this creep Sandusky did to those kids was evil and repulsive and if my son was one of his victom‘s he wouldn’t live to see his court date. That said however I fail to see any culpability in JoePa’s actions. He did what he was suppose to do and reported an incident that was reported to him, he didn’t see it himself and the guy who did, didn’t step in to stop it, didn’t call police and still has a job? Justify that for me.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:20pmI told people ….. If it has to do with entertainment whether it’s sports, music , or movies… The wicked people involved get a free pass in our society….. Entertainers rule and can do no wrong…. People spend more money on entertainment than anything else. The American people want to be entertained and they will protect the people that give it to them at all cost. It’s a fact ! Just like corporations … There to big to fail… Everybody has a book, CD, or DVD to sell you…. Make a million copies of that one thing and target on your 20 dollar bill…. Then the people that gave them the 20.00 dollars watch allot of them self destruct on the news. This is why we have so many Justin Biebers coming out of the woodwork. When will we ever wise up…. We cherish these people when most have never even met them. They don’t even know your alive…. I’m all for capitalism but there not God like…. Wise up!

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 12:11pmYou are correct, it is not funny. This video was not portrayed to be funny.
The BS of A is showing that people’s sense of right and wrong are screwed up. The students were more outraged that Paterno was fired than boys getting sodomized by one of the coaches. Don’t you think the students outrage is misplaced? I do.
Many kept this quiet and tried to sweep it under the rug; they let Sandusky remain. They should have turned him in as a pedophile and fired him, Period. You can’t cure pedophilia, this is a sickness that requires extreme measures and it did not happen. Everyone who knew should be fired.
