Posted on December 23, 2010 at 2:14pmEnjoy your dinner. I loved hunting. Loved the early morning anticipation but always pizzed my husband off because I didn’t carry a bunch of bullets. I always told him if I couldn’t bring it down with one shot, I wouldn’t try. I hated to see any animal shot over & over because the hunter couldn’t get one clean shot, or were bad shots. Fortunately, I was always a good shot and never needed but one bullet. The one and only time I shot a deer and grazed it, we hunted for hours trying to find the animal, so I guess it wasn’t hurt that bad, but it made me aware to shoot good or don’t shoot at all.
Report Post »And I lived by that. We ate the meat and I jerked some and made chili with some, so it was never a waste. Never shoot a running animal if you want good meat, is my hint to city hunters I really can’t stand inhumanity to any animal. Can’t eat most meat (chicken) I know were raised inhumanely. Some are treated so badly and their meat doesn’t even taste good. Just think about it.

They say they want everyone to be “veggie” people, but they all chow down on the cheeseburgers every chance they get! More hypocrisy from the left!

Posted on December 23, 2010 at 10:47amIt never ceases to amaze me how all the Democrats (hypocrites) in my community who eat meat, try to make a big deal out of hunting. Of course, to them, meat is just something that comes from the grocery store – like a box of ******* jacks. It‘s just one more area where Dem’s are completely out of touch with reality. Personally, I‘m not laughing at Conan’s joke, because it isn’t funny. There’s nothing funny about killing such a magnificent animal, and such an act is all the more reason to respect and preserve all animals through responsible conservation practices – most of which are paid for by hunters. It‘s a sacred trust Democrats and late night jokesters just don’t understand. Most hunters I know consider the game they bring home to be a sacred gift from God’s bounty. It’s not something to be snickered at and joked about, but to be appreciated and treated respectfully.

Report Post »the animals. I never took a wild shot, like most men do. If I couldn’t hit with one shot, I didn’t take it. As it turned out, I was the best shot in the entire family and some of the others did practices that really made me sick and I eventually gave up hunting. Hunt for food not for the sport of killing. Some people are so inhumane. I watched a fisherman cleaning fish once and wanted to go throw up. He was scaling a live fish and I couldn’t take it. Wondered how he’d feel being skinned while alive?
