When Mike Huckabee appeared on Monday’s “The View” odds are he didn’t the the headlines today would be filled with a positive Joy Behar headline. But they are.
On the show, Behar admitted that the possible 2012 presidential candidate was her “favorite Republican.” What does Huckabee think about it? “It probably killed me,” he told Greta Van Susteren:

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 9:37amPresident: Jim Demint
Secretary of Treasury: Ron Paul
Game. Set. Match, America
Demint is really the only republican I could see myself voting for outside of Ron Paul. Unfortun. I don‘t think Ron Paul could gain enough support in the Republican Party for the primaries because of his foreign policy views which in my mind are the best for our country but many republicans still don’t believe it. They will some day. They’ll have too, were broke. Jim Demint may not be as “1776” as Ron Paul but I believe he is a true man of principle and would make an excellent president. Ron Paul as the Treasury Secretary? Nuff said America..

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 8:25amI like Mike Huckabee as well although he is not my favorite Republican, nor would he be my first choice for president.
Joy Behar rarely, if ever, says anything nice about anyone on the right so I would take her comments as a compliment.
Maybe it is possible to soften the hearts of commited libs, Huck could be on to something.

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 8:02amI supported Mike Huck in 2008 but now that I have listened to him in the past few years he is a Rhino. NO wonder Behar likes him he said Obama would be hard to beat? THAT says it all to me where his heads at and its not positive for the Conservative side. That defeatist mentality is what John McCain brought to the forefront and we all saw how that went down. WE need a young aggressive economically and well rounded in Foreign Affairs to straighten out the hippy dippy sixties administrations mess. NO more voting like American Idol and Joy Behar fan clubs. It is time to vote like your future depends on it America its called FREEDOM vote for FREEDOM and the person that respects what this country was founded on.

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 8:03amAbsolutely! This could be the kiss of death. Anyone that gets a thumbs up from that liberal hack has just received a life sentence of non-presidential service as far as republicans are concerned. As far as Palin goes she is definitely not presidential material for 99.9% of progressives and quite possibly independents. Whether she is embraced by the conservative right or not doesn’t matter at all! Just the sound of her name attached to any political ticket as vp or potus in 2012 would produce negative reactions and swing an election to the progressives. We need to be very careful this year. In 2016 I think the young man from Florida would be the ideal candidate. (I will not jinx him by mentioning his name)

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 7:37amNot really a fan of the progressive huckster, especially since Joy likes him!!! Haven’t seen anyone come to the forefront that I think will beat the big O. I like Jindal, but he says he won’t run. Newt would beat the pants off O in a debate, but he’s got baggage too. And, you know, the MSM will play up our candidates short comings and lift up the O

Posted on November 23, 2010 at 7:44amBoth Romney & Huckabee are both great guys, but I wouldnt vote for either one of them for President.
We need someone who will promote & defend conservative principles.
Romney brought Mass. Health Care to our state.
That was his undoing for me & millions of americans.
With the stroke of a pen, his presidential ambitions are finished.
Jindal, Cristie, Palin, Barbour, & a few others are where we need to look.
Imagine how this country could be turned around on a dime with a Christie Jindal or a Barbour Palin administration.
Then appoint every Republican primary candidate to a cabinet post & undo 50 yrs of progressive politics in 4 years, & restore America in 8
And make sure to appoint Romney as Health Secretary, so he can undo his disastorous policy he started in Mass. & see first hand the mess he started
Report Post »2gether
Posted on November 23, 2010 at 8:11amMaybe, but Romney isn’t exactly cornering the market on integrity when it comes to politics. I don‘t think I want a man as potus who waffles as much as Spector does on party platforms but doesn’t change parties. Romney’s healthcare debacle raised concerns for me, too. Every time he is asked to address that issue in an interview, he changes the subject. That doesn’t sit well with me.
