Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) ran an attack ad against his opponent Dan Webster that used clips of Webster later found to be taken out of context. When confronted with the truth, Grayson defended his actions and brushed off any criticism:

Posted on September 28, 2010 at 3:17pmWhile I appreciate the laughs folks, there is an underlying story here that merits mention. The question I have is, how in the world did this guy get elected? I don’t know the specifics of his last campaign and that isn’t really what I am asking. How did good people allow this to happen? Without knowing the specifics of his election I am pretty confident the following assertion is true. We The People laid down on the job. It is incumbent upon US, to ensure our elected leaders are of the character and morality that is befitting of a US Representative. Granted it wasn’t necessarily you and me if we didn’t live in his district, but it is We The People who have to pay dearly for our electoral mistakes and sometimes that price can be catastrophic. When candidates who get elected betray the promises or at least the fundamentals, why do we let them get away with it? Are we just too busy in our own lives to investigate ourselves? When it comes to liberty and economic freedom I don’t know how in the hell we can be too busy. We all agree that the politicians and the bankers are out of control, corrupt and in many cases working directly AGAINST the self interests of those who pay them and elect them. So while everyone wants to make light of this guy and issue cheap and easy slurs, I got a question for you. When are you going to stand up and do something to reclaim your own political power and end the scourge of corruption that threatens your very existence as free people? Just asking.

Just like a whole bunch of worthless Republicans who rode Ronald Reagan’s coattails back in 1980, Grayson merely latched onto the 0bama Fraud that swept through the nation. The seat was held by a Republican previously, methinks it shall return that way, and quite handily, come November.

Report Post »Mr. Grayson makes Mr. Franken look smart and ‘Senator-like’.
So, Florida, you are the only ones who can do something about this…person. The only thing he’s proven to America is that everything that comes out of his mouth will be nasty, demeaning…and completely false. Perhaps you could send his resume…if he has one…to Mr. Chavez in Venezuela – or maybe the esteemed ‘president of Iran’. They could use his deception and anger to try to win back the hearts and minds of their ‘people’. Just a thought……………..

Posted on September 28, 2010 at 11:10pmI have followed the career of Daniel Webster. He is a honorable man, well respected even by those who do not agree with him. Webster is far preferable to Grayson. My very few reservations about Webster in Congress is that he will not be 100% rolling back the size and scope of government. Still, it is preferable to have someone who will be 90-95% with freedom as opposed to Grayson who will be 100% against constitutional governance.
