Congress Reacts: Dems Propose Gun Restrictions & Ban on ‘Threatening Language or Symbols’

Just hours after six were killed and 14 others injured in Saturday’s horrific shooting incident in Arizona, politicians 2,300 miles away in Washington, D.C. began plotting a legislative response.

Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., one of Congress’ fiercest gun control advocates, is looking to strike while the iron is hot. “My staff is working on looking at the different legislation fixes that we might be able to do and we might be able to introduce as early as tomorrow,” McCarthy told Politico Sunday. Rep. McCarthy said that she plans to meeting with House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to see “if we can work something through” this week.

At the same time, another New York Democrat is blaming the pro-gun community for Saturday’s violent shooting. In a statement Sunday, Rep. Carolyn Maloney exclaimed that “guns kill” and that “those who glamorize gunplay or worship gun ownership do no service to humanity.”

“Democracy triumphs. The fundamental wisdom that has long distinguished our nation and has led her to greatness resides in our unwavering commitment to settle our differences with ballots, not bullets,” she said. “While it is too early to come to any conclusions about the causes or consequences of yesterday’s tragic events, it is never too late to reflect on lessons we have learned from earlier such tragedies, and take them to heart.”

While Maloney and McCarthy are focusing their efforts on restricting access to guns, Pennsylvania Rep. Robert Brady, a Democrat from Philadelphia, is proposing new limits on free speech. On Sunday, Brady told CNN that he plans to introduce a bill that would make it a crime for anyone to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or violent against a federal official.

Brady told CNN Sunday that federal lawmakers and other government officials should have the same protections against rhetorical threats as the president, whose threats are monitored by the U.S. Secret Service.

“The president is a federal official,” Brady said. “You can’t do it to him; you should not be able to do it to a congressman, senator or federal judge.”

“This is not a wake up call, this is major alarms going off,” he said.

In particular, Brady says he takes specific offense to the electoral map produced by Sarah Palin’s political action committee during the 2010 midterm election which “targeted” a number of key swing districts. “You can’t put bulls eyes or crosshairs on a United States congressman or a federal official,” Brady said. “I understand this web site that had it on there is no longer in existence. Someone is feeling a little guilty.”

As we’ve reported, one Palin aide spoke out publicly Sunday about the backlash the former Alaska governor has received since Saturday’s shooting. “This is a terrible politicization of a tragedy,” Rebecca Mansour said. “We don’t know (the shooter’s) motive. It doesn’t seem like he was motivated by a political ideology. Craziness is not an ideology.”

Brady insisted he was not “pointing at any particular party,“ but stressed that politicians with opposing views should be able to ”disagree without being disagreeable.”

Perhaps if you are wearing a logo of some company that sells sugary product? 3. What exactly will be dangerous language? Beck, perhaps? Teaparty Protests? For some reason I doubt those who throw paint on fur wearers or egg a republican’s car will be in that list. 4. do they have any idea how impossible all of this will be to implement AND enforce. Oh, guys not, they are all about things that look good on paper and in speeches, not things that are actually possible in reality.

Ban guns and prohibit perceived threats? Perceived? Just what does that mean?
Before anyone knew anything about this nut the Dems and their sheep were all over the net and tv blaming it on “right wing hate speech”. There still hasn’t been anything that indicates that this guy was influenced by what anyone was saying, but do the Dems do? They try to use this tragedy in order to ram through their left wing agenda that would not normally even get past first base. How long have these left wingers been waiting for this type of incident to try to get these abominations passed?
Let’s go ahead and try to stomp all over both the first and second amendment. I guess when they read the Constitution the other day a whole bunch of Democrats were asleep.

First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

“CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW … abridging the freedom of speech; or of the press; …”

Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution”

“…, the right of the PEOPLE to keep and BEAR Arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”

(The all cap portions are my doing to emphasize the text.)

“Officers of the court have no immunity from liability when violating a Constitutional right and may be held personally liable for damages under 42 U S C A 1983; for they are deemed to know the law. Knowing that they will be liable for all injurious conduct creates incentive for officials to err on the side of protecting citizens Constitutional rights. Also, related I believe, is 18 USC Section 241 and 242.

People generally think there are no circumstances whereby public officials (cops, FBI, ATF, TSA, DHS, judges, politicians, etc.) may be sued personally. WRONG! It is asserting lawsuits against them personally EVERY TIME they attempt some unconstitutional BS and making them pay PERSONALLY that we will force conformance to our Constitution and the rights and privileges it REQUIRES these same government officers to PROTECT.

By the time those that are left, get to the “Grabbing” part of the exercise, the barrels are going to be hot enough to see the rifling from the outside, and they’ll need to dig through MOUNTAINS of very hot brass just to get hold of them.

I prefer to call this a Reichstag moment. We may never know who put this nut job up to this evil deed, but it seems really suspicious how quickly leftist bloggers, and leftists in the government are jumping on it to blame conservatives and constitutional rights. We can probably expect to see many more Reichstag moments before November 2012. It will be important for Americans to see through them, because they will get worse. I’m not pointing any fingers, but George Soros, William Ayers, or Cass Sundstein come to mind when I think of this event. Look for the Reichstag moments to be worse in nature as we progress toward the next election. You read it here first.

Translation, We the People Versus the Gov-Bots of all stripes, that want the rest of us to keep on working so they don’t have to. Sorry but the Gov-Bots are mostly of the Leftist/Progressive/Marxist/Communist persuasion, but there are also a fair number of Republicans etal that are on that bandwagon. HE WHO seeks to LIMIT my GOD GIVEN RIGHT to arms in my own self defense, does so for one reason ONLY. To better exercise his CONTROL over me, to facilitate his THEIVERY of what is not his, but mine.

We have over 20,000 various Gun Laws in this country. NONE is, was, nor ever will be INTENDED to solve the CRIME PROBLEM nor SAVE LIVES. ALL have but ONE INTENT, and that is to render the producers subserviant to the Will of the Government Masters.

Bottom Line, there are many, many, many, folks out here that have had a belly full of the GUN LAW GARBAGE and those that continue to PUSH it. We have now reached the proverbial point known as when PUSH comes to SHOVE, this weekend was the beginning of the Second American Civil War. They have been trying to get another lunatic communist like the shooter to strike. See their first reaction. Limit freedom of speech and the right to protect one’s own life….but only for civilians. They will not be effected. Just like all the elites who have armed bodyguards or carry their own handguns for protection. It is just the sheeple who must be left to slaughter at the hands of criminals.

BUT DON’T ALLOW FACTS TO GET IN THE WAY !!!

Progressive Democrats are eager to blame conservatives for the evils that the Progressive Socialist agenda has fostered and caused to prosper. But they always blame others. They never can accept the responsibility for the harm their actions and beliefs cause mankind.

They will use it to attack the frame work of our nation and destroy liberties and rights of the American people such as free speech and the right to bare arms. They will lie and do anything to further their Progressive Socialist agenda.

The depravity of the left has no limit. To use a tragedy politically is the lowest a person could possibly sink. To not understand this is a real sign of mental illness. Liberalism is after all, a mental disorder. What we need are gun laws preventing unstable liberals from owning guns. Haven’t all of the recent tragedies been committed by psychotic liberals? No doubt! To say nothing of a failed FBI background check… It‘s just another example to show you what the government can and CAN’T do. I had to address a five year old parking ticket when I purchased a hand gun… And this kid had misdemeanors? Not to Mention being 22… Leave it to the good old government run FBI to screw up an already unworkable gun control debacle. News flash! Americans have guns, some Americans are not stable enough to have guns and I guarantee you those Americans will always find a way to get a gun banned or not. The answer here is swift and un-yielding Justice. There a to many people that witnessed this tragedy, he said himself he planned it so why don’t we just save the taxpayers of few years of free meals and appeals attorneys fees and shut this guys lights off like tomorrow! An example of strength and unwillingness to accept this type of behavior… Don’t think about banning guns DC, think about swift justice for one of your own.

      This provides the ‘opportunity’ to:
      - Further divide the left and right by the state controlled media
      - ‘Justify’ moving the TSA to ‘soft targets’ as reported a couple weeks ago
      - End Sarah Palin’s candidacy before it begins because of how it has been spun
      - Enact gun-grabbing laws
      - Demonize speech opposing the establishment
      - Enact ‘Internet ID’s’ through regulation as reported by Fox News and others.

An eye witness to the shooting reported it was all over in about 8 – 10 seconds. In that time he shot 20 people.

Out of those 20 six died. These were well placed shots considering the amount of time before he started to reload (and was taken down). Especially considering how quickly the crowd would try to scatter after the first one or two shots fired. At least one of the victims was shot multiple times (reportedly 4 times) meaning that leaves 27 rounds remaining for the other 19 victims. He was reportedly using a 9 mm glock with an extended clip of 31 rounds. That‘s some damn good shooting especially if that was his first ’real life’ experience firing at people.

      In only 10 seconds:
      - 31 shots fired
      - 20 victims hit, 6 fatally hit

Yet he never served in the military and was rejected by the Army for service.

Also, why was this guy‘s facebook and myspace ’taken down’ as soon his name was released? Yet not his youtube?? Speaking of youtube, I’m a little bit surprise no videos of this taken by a cell phone or something have surfaced yet.

And apparently the cleared the 2nd man earlier today – the ‘person of interest.’ Did anyone hear the details on that? Did they report that they identified who he was? Or why he was a person of interest? Or if they even talked to him? Or any other reason they would ‘clear’ his name?

Democrats have defined politics as the art of looking for trouble, finding it (whether it exists or not), diagnosing it completely incorrectly, and then applying the entirely wrong remedy. They‘ll use this tragedy to punish everyone in this country for the act of a sole deranged lunatic and seize upon the voracity of that sole deranged lunatic’s actions to even further disregard the US Constitution as some archaic writings of ancient men, and to clench their stranglehold on us ever tighter.

Yes, this is an old chain mail. But it expresses my thoughts pretty well.

      Why I Carry a Gun

My old grandpa said to me son,‘ there comes a time in every man’s life
when he stops bustin‘ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps and usually it’s
when he becomes too old to take an ass whoopin’.
I don’t carry a gun to kill people.
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.

I don’t carry a gun to scare people.
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

      I don‘t carry a gun because I’m paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

      I don‘t carry a gun because I’m evil.
I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the
      world.

I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government.
I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

      I don‘t carry a gun because I’m angry.
I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating
myself for failing to be prepared.

I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and
not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

      I don‘t carry a gun because I’m a cowboy.
I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a
      cowboy.

I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man.
I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the
      ones they love.

      I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate.
I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am
      inadequate.

      I don’t carry a gun because I love it.
I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful
      to me.

Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the
crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to
      take an ass whoopin’.

      “Democracy triumphs.”

We are not a Democracy, but a Republic.

“The fundamental wisdom that has long distinguished our nation and has led her to greatness resides in our unwavering commitment to settle our differences with ballots, not bullets,”

The fundamental wisdom in settling our differences with ballot boxes is based on our elected officials’ commitment to the Constitution. We do not elect rulers, but representatives who must take an oath to the Constitution. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, not the government or the courts.

When elected officials break their oath to the constitution, it is the elected officials who have abandoned the rule of law. And when the Executive Branch believes they must enforce laws which are unConstitutional, then it is they who are foregoing the ballot box.

“While it is too early to come to any conclusions about the causes or consequences of yesterday’s tragic events, it is never too late to reflect on lessons we have learned from earlier such tragedies, and take them to heart.”

If it’s never too late to reflect on lessons we have learned from earlier, then let us learn from the past tragedies of Socialist, Marixist, and Communist regimes, in which hundreds of thousands have died in the name of “collectivism”.

The Second Amendment applies. If you try to take my freedom of speech, I’ll kill you.

      George Washington.

“Arms in the hands of individual citizens may be used at individual discretion…in private self-defense.”
John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions (1787-88).

“The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”
Samuel Adams, during Massachusetts’ U.S. Constitution Ratification Convention (1788).

“The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation…(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.”
      James Madison, The Federalist #46.

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
Thomas Jefferson, Proposed Virginia Constitution (1776), Jefferson Papers 344 (J. Boyd, ed. 1950).

“The great object is, that every man be armed…Everyone who is able may have a gun…”
Patrick Henry, 3 Elliott Debates 386.

“Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.”
Thomas Paine, Thoughts on Defensive War (1775).

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.”

Blackstone, Commentaries on the Laws of England.

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America can not enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States.”

This response from the left is as predicable at the next tick of the clock. IF ANY representatives in D.C. had ANY BACKBONE they would be saying something like this “We need to encourage more law abiding citizens to arm themselves to defend all against madmen like this!” Think about it, if law abiding Americans were allowed to exercise their rights to keep and bear arms even on airliners (with proper low velocity ammo of course) wouldn’t that solve the “problem” we are sacrificing our rights to overcome? IF we applied and embraced our rights rather than surrendering them we would all be better off over night. OH SORRY…I was thinking like a free individual there for a minute…

      Progressive socialist Democratic mindset:

Threatening Language = United States Constitution
Threatening Symbol = United States Flag
Gun Restrictions = all your firearms, none of ours

The assassin got off over 30 rounds and was in the process of loading another clip. Had properly armed citizens been nearby, he wouldn’t have even dared to brandish a weapon.

It’s really not that we think Progressive socialist Democrats will actually behave like Hitler if freedom loving Americans are ever foolish enough to surrender their Constitutional right to bare arms; we think you will act like your heroes Stalin and Mao, who each had far more innocent people killed than ever Hitler did.

Alas, they can’t truly control us until they take our guns completely. Once they do, we’re completely screwed in the rear. Then, this country is no longer a republic. In such a scenario we are now a dictatorship ..

Point the finger of blame at the left like Jones and Piven they were calling for this and demand they take responsibility. This is not a reason to go after guns, gun owners etc this should be the time to go after those calling for violence!

This is going to “backfire” (assuming the intent is honest, which is doubtful), if they get this law or one like that being proposed, where “threatening language” or “symbology” is outlawed, THREE brand new problems are going to occur.

#1. (the worst item) Those with the problem (a real problem) may learn NOT TO SAY ANYTHING….. then,… we’ll HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE?!?!?!?!?! Apparently a great many people KNEW this guy was a problem, or was going to be a problem at some point. AT LEAST YOU KNEW…… image if you were in this guy’s algebra class, you KNEW he had a screw loose, you had a chance to watching him, stay clear of him, you might have a chance to take another class, or just leave when he showed up… HELLO?!?!?!? But you’d of had a chance… BECAUSE YOU KNEW! What happens if you create a law that this type learns to keep quite and to fade in to stay out of trouble UNTIL ONE DAY HE EXPLODES???? You NEVER had a chance! In a way, YOU WANT THEM TO SAY WHAT’S ON THEIR MINDS…. so YOU can hear and judge. This law will backfire for sure, it’s ill-founded if it’s an honest effort.

If it’s NOT HONEST, as I suspect…. Reason #2 and #3 also apply.

#2. The various flags Lefty doesn’t like, the Gadsden, the US Flag, the Bonnie Blue, the Reb Battle flag, the Christian flag, and ANYTHING ELSE THEY DON’T LIKE…. will be use to persecute those who fly them…. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERSECUTING THEM…. (no doubt)!!!!. Thusly, creating NEW violence and yet more carnage. They’ll be Ok with that of course, as those confronting and those defending are BOTH groups they despise and would love to see come to harm and resultant reductions.

#3. Both definitions will NO DOUBT creep, and become larger over time engulfing innocents that Lefty would like to target in the future. Just like all the previous efforts (Endangered Specie, etc, etc, etc) in this regard, it will sound oh-so-reasonable to start with, but over time it will morph and be used for nefarious ends. Symbols and language we don’t even use at this moment, once they understand WHO… is using them, will eventually be targeted in order to muzzle and target those selected for reduction and muzzling. It’ll become a new and fertile ground for their scheming!

      THIS… is a really, really, really…. bad idea….

I just saw an interview with a young man who was in the Walgreens store when he hear gun shotts.. He is a CCW (carry conceled wepons) member and instead of hiding he went charging out to see if he could help.. He did not go gun in hand but 1 assesed the situation and then took action like we are trained to do.. It is not the wepon that kills it is the person behind it and if MORE peop-le were trained properly this would be a thing of the past..EDUCATION is the kry to solving any problem NOT MORE STUPID LAWS TO HAVE BROKEN!!!!!!! Ban on strong Rhetoric??- Perhaps we should start with the President–Where’s that toxic rhetoric coming from? Let’s not make a false pretense of balance: it’s coming, overwhelmingly, from the right,” Krugman asserts. Oh, really? How about the Democrat President? At various times during his Administration, Barack Obama has said the following:

If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. – June 2008.

I want you to go out and talk to your neighbors… I want you to argue with them, get in their faces. – September 2008.

I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry. I’m angry. – March 2009.

If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, “We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,” if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder, and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on November 2. – October 2010.

So none of that rhetoric contributes to the “climate of hate?” How about Florida Democrat Alan Grayson condemning his opponent as a “religious fanatic” and calling him “Taliban Dan Webster?” What about when Democrat James Clyburn of South Carolina falsely accused Tea Party members of hurling racial epithets at him? Do you suppose the heavily deployed Democrat meme of insinuating voters were stupid for acting against them in the midterm elections might have generated some anger?

Shall we step into the minor leagues, and talk about New Hampshire state house candidate Keith Halloran, who responded to the plane crash that killed Alaska Senator Ted Stevens by wishing Sarah Palin was on board? Another New Hampshire Democrat, Timothy Horrigan, was forced to quit the state legislature for saying “A dead Palin would be more dangerous than a live one” and “if she was dead, she couldn’t commit any more gaffes.” If that’s not good enough, we could take a step back into the fetid swamps of Bush hatred, when liberals actually made movies about assassinating him.

Send the mere politician a copy of the speech given by a Patriot Robert Charles Winthrop(1809-1894 ) given in Boston May 28,1849 The Bible or the Bayonet.”Glenn Beck would do well to read the excerpt pp701-702 notes 217& 218 Americas’ God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations. on air. What Winthrop said there reflects what Noah Webster wrote in his Translation of the Bible,1833 see pp679-680 same work. congress /indeed our entire government has willfully divorced itself from the Foundational Principles of Religion (Christianity) and Morality. The Dec.6 Congressional Prayer Caucus letter to President Obama suggesting he violated such could have cited President Washington Sept.19,1796 ,or the Northwest Ordinance, As fundamental law naming those same principles as necessary for good government. They could have cited the sermon by Elizer Goodrich May 10,1787 (see Ellis Sandoz Political Sermons of the American Founding Era 1730- 1805 vol.I p.915.Point is our government is now divorced from the foundations and the political house is unsafe.

      I agree with HAPPYBOY.

Shot in the head and still alive? CNN and MSNBC full of “experts” claiming how this is possible. Now the Democrats want to take our guns and abolish free speech while Gifford is recovering in a “medically induced coma.” Hmmm. Sounds like this was planned by the Global Elitists.

I bet in a month or two, Gifford will be all over CNN and MSNBC calling for gun bans and an end to “hateful speech” against public officials. See, the rest of the plan is to create enough chaos that they declare martial law in the USA and then turn on the Socialist / Communist NWO that has been coming. They know that almost everyone completely disagrees with it and does not want this for the U.S. They fear for their lives. They know their lives will all be in jeopardy if they try to finalize this plan with an armed citizenry.

So, this was all about “the ends justifying the means.” Those means in this case is making hate speech illegal and getting your guns as an added bonus.. In other words they want it to where you can‘t speak out against the government and that you can’t have guns. Then Gifford, and those like her, can fly on private planes all around the world high fiving each other about how they duped the stupid morons of the world with this climate change crap.

Is there climate change? Sort of? Started in 1993 when they turned on HAARP Project in Alaska. I would love to see all climate data on record through 1992 and compare it to all climate data from 1993 forward. The global elite have spent trillions to dupe us into accepting our own slavery. NEVER.

The NWO will not work. You can’t just co-opt the Freemasons and think you can “bridge the divide” between the Muslim and Western worlds. Its not working out so well in Europe and it will work even less well in the US. The Pope isn’t some divine entity that can bring it all together either. It simply will not work.

A 9-year-old girl was killed Sunday. All for something that will not work. Do not fall for this. Everything is planned. All that’s left is an excuse to call for martial law in the US and then there will be a dozen National Guard storming your houses to get your guns…remember Katrina and New Orleans. It was a test run. They did it, and they will do it again. If you shoot one coming for your guns, the other eleven will kill you on the spot. This is what it is coming to. Congress will all be locked safely away or at a climate summit somewhere while this is going on. Denver perhaps?

This country needs to hold together until January 2013 when we can get more like minded individuals into congress and hopefully a Ronald Reagan type as our president. The left will do anything and say anything to get you to lash out now. Their plan now will be to stir up the violence so enough elected Republicans will be scared enough to go along with gun bans and limitations on speech. That likely will not happen so they will use regulatory measures, using the FCC to regulate what is said on television and posted to the Internet, and Homeland Security will act like the KGB Agents did and just declare you a terrorist and threat to the government if you dare say the wrong thing about a “federal employee.”

Now is the time to let everyone know what is going on in any way you can. Do not resort to violence. I hope and prey this country holds together for another two years without being further damaged.

If the Republicans waiver on any of these things, including the border issues again, its time to just form a third party that is strong and forget about the D‘s and R’s altogether. Maybe we can hi-jack the Republicans like the progressives hijacked the Democrats. Maybe we can bring forward some of our own and call them Republicans. “Progressive-Lite” is still Progressive and America does not want the NWO that is being progressed toward.

      You Think You Know?
      FOUNDING FATHERS WERE AGAINST DEMOCRACY

The Founding Fathers Were Against Democracy Because It Was Really Anarchy In Disguise; They Chose System of Governmental Control.

When the United States was born, the Founding Fathers were adamantly against democracy and sought to establish a republic. Their goal was to create a nation that would be strong, upstanding and committed to a fair deal for its entire population.

They were even in many respects opposed to democracy as the following quote attests. ‘A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51 percent of the people may take away the rights of the other 49. ‘

      – Thomas Jefferson, third President of the United States, author of the Bill of Rights.

The Founding Fathers looked high and wide for the most reasonable system to put in place for the new country that was to become the United States.

But they found in history only reasons to avoid democracy, at least in its literal sense, as one of the worst forms of government ever to be attempted. It is for this reason that the United States Constitution does not refer to a democracy.

What it does say is that the United States should guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government.

The best protection we can give to our public servants is to do everything we can to reduce their value as targets of the angry and insane. This can be accomplished by returning to the constitution and making our federal government small and powerless over anything other than what it was originally intended to control. We the people must work to reduce the size of the federal government by no less than 98% through legislation by our elected representatives. If the fed only controls the border, patents, defense and a few other basic needs then public servants will cease to be a target for those that would do them harm.

is to ban the Constitution or just ignore it. That’s what the present administration has been doing for the past two years. Obama believes it’s an “ incomplete document ” and that it’s “ outdated” . He took an oath to obey and protect the Constitution that he has so diligently tried to destroy. Question? If we were no longer able to bear arms would that mean that our armed forces, police officers, national guard no longer carry fire arms? You can’t protect anyone from mentally ill people. Look at what happened with the police officer‘s kid who took his father’s gun and went on a rampage at his high school. What’s next? Sharp knives? Axes? Fire? Acid? There are a lot of disturbed people out there. Has anyone heard of the 18th amendment? Prohabition. Do you really believe there will never be any guns out there? The black market has always exsisted. Do you really think you can stop people from saying anything bad about any particular group? Really? Forget the government. How are WE suppose to protect ourselves? Words can be just as damaging as guns. How are you suppose to protect yourself if someone maliciously accuses you of saying/doing something against the government? McCarthy falsely accused people of being communist. He ruined lives. Will they take away our “innocent before proven guilty”? Isn’t this what they do in China? Cuba? Soviet Union?Venizulia? God help us all!!!

You see the problem is that the person doing the shooting was the wrong person. Had it been a Muslim we would have tried to understand the stress he faced in normal life and blamed society for not welcoming him and find a way to put a nice candy coating on the pile of garbage!

      @DWH320
Good show, I agree completely. Everyone please notice that the left has ONLY ONE purpose for firearms, and that is to intimidate and control the population and all that goes with that rut.
The communist-socialist-progressives like guns for their purpose, mostly to kill their opposition. It appears to this writer that the above mentioned bastards would attempt to restrict OUR 1st. and 2nd ammendment rights in one bite, but not THEIRS. If push comes to shove always remember the protocol…Give Them The Ammunition first.!

WITHIN AN HOUR OF MASSECURE REPORTS, DEMOCRATS IN THE WHITE HOUSE HAD PULLED THE FOLDERS OUT OF THEIR CABINETS OUTLINING THEIR ATTACK ON THE GOP.

The trail that leads back to the White House is being sweept clean because there isn’t any investigation. Where did the Safeway Assasin obtain the $2000 to purchase his Glock in November? Teachers and professors who knew the assasin feared being near him for their lives, yet the Sheriff‘s Office didn’t have a record on him that would prevent this killer from obtaining a firearm.

This was a planned assasination to help Obama re-capture his polling data after the Nov. disaster.
