‘Used to Be…All About America’: Dem. Rep. Makes Case for being ‘World Citizens’ (But in the Most Non-Rousing Way)

It was July 2008. Barack Obama was in Berlin, Germany, delivering a foreign policy speech. It was a time when every speech of his was fawned over. And, to be fair, it was a rousing speech. If you don’t remember it, it was the one where he declared proudly that he was a “citizen of the world.” The crowed erupted.

Fastforward to 2012. Here is Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) addressing the Turkic American Alliance back in March (which is just now starting to get noticed). During his appearance he tries to parrot Obama’s applause line of being a world citizen and says — but he seems to fall quite short with a very dull, non-energetic explanation.

“It used to be that it’s all about America … but we’re in new times now,” he says, before launching into his “world citizenry” explanation. Watch and see for yourself (and try to stay awake):

Now, the concept of world citizenry is much more important than how Johnson presents — important because there are plenty who are concerned about it. For example, “Real News From the Blaze” recently tackled the idea of the U.S. taking part in new U.N. talks about gun regulations.

But the video is good news for some: If you’re hesitant about the concept of world citizenry (since it’s often used as a means to some stunning government-regulation ends), then you want Johnson to be its spokesperson.

By the way, here‘s Obama’s speech from Germany so you can compare it to Johnson’s:

Sure, only the govt can outsource, private companies can’t for tax reasons hence the need for a global tax. Also consider the conversation of the preezy being born in another country to advance the idea that America might one day be ruled or governed by a foreigner, much like the conversation that took place during Schwarzenegger political time in office as gov of CA. Now look at that states balance sheet.

I notice that its a black man who proposes this. He can declare himself a stateless person and the UN will give him world citizen status under international law. Blacks were brought here against their will and by force. There is a way to return them to their homeland the same way. There are several African nations that have repatriation programs for their brothers and sisters who were take to the Americas as slaves. Blacks have a place to go to and call their homeland.

      HKS…excellent !!!

This president has clearly undermined the great respect and love many people have had for our America, this president has created doubt in our value in the world – our worth.

      MEMO:
      TO ALL ONE-WORLDERS:
Name one other Nation on earth that 1) already has the most nations represented under our Borders (people who have come to USA over the years in hopes of a better future. You can’t there is no such “other Nation”. 2) we already pay the most out for the world as it is – way more than any other nation.
It is time to tell the UN to get out; It is time for the people in Georgia to remove this TRAITOR to America from the House !

WE either respect the Blood and treasure our ancestors have expended to make America or we sit here like toads and allow these MARXISTS/SOCIALISTS/COMMUNISTS/ONE-WORLDER/ISLAMIC TERRORIST/TRAITORS to prevail. Choice is ours. IF we don’t rid America of this trash, we will be enslaved. There is NO middle ground. Remember: The ‘WORLD’ is already here (for those Anti-American sob-sisters). WE either LOVE AMERICA or we should LEAVE AMERICA but we loose AMERICA if we turn over our freedom, our sovereignty to the world. That is pure Communism-hogwash. YO…Hank Johnson (D-GA)… Communism failed…remember??? GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Since the dawn of history the ***** has owned the continent of Africa — rich beyond the dream of poet’s fancy, crunching acres of diamonds beneath his bare black feet and yet he never picked one up from the dust until a white man showed to him its glittering light.

His land swarmed with powerful and docile animals, yet he never dreamed a harness, cart, or sled.

A hunter by necessity, he never made an axe, spear, or arrowhead worth preserving beyond the moment of its use. He lived as an ox, content to graze for an hour.

In a land of stone and timber he never sawed a foot of lumber, carved a block, or built a house save of broken sticks and mud.

With league on league of ocean strand and miles of inland seas, for four thousand years he watched their surface ripple under the wind, heard the thunder of the surf on his beach, the howl of the storm over his head, gazed on the dim blue horizon calling him to worlds that lie beyond, and yet he never dreamed a sail.” — Charles Darwin

Anything they list as a right, that they deem as proper, they provide to their citizens if possible in it’s “benevolence”. But as soon as the USA submits to UN authority the corruption which is already rampant will escalate to an unimaginable proportion, and the corporate raiding will begin in earnest world wide on a scale that is unfathomable. Then where will you go, whom do you speak with in the world govt.? Your rights will erode, the ones they saw fit to give you, and you will at that point realize what slavery is all about.
