Conservative Group Offers $100K For Evidence of White House Involvement in ‘Fast and Furious’

The Conservative Caucus is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can produce “verifiable evidence” of White House involvement in Operation “Fast and Furious,” according to a classified ad run in The Washington Times on Wednesday.
The title of the ad? “Wanted — The Truth!”
“Was Operation Fast & Furious simply a bungled attempt to capture Mexican drug lords, or was it an ‘under the radar’ political scheme hatched at the White House as now appears possible?” the ad states.
The conservative group is also hoping to get their hands on any evidence that proves President Obama and or any of his aides knew about the failed federal gun-walking operation while it was underway, something the Obama administration actively denies.
It also warns that Fast and Furious will soon come “crashing down” like Watergate did during the Nixon administration. The Conservative Caucus is encouraging Obama administration officials to turn any evidence they have over “just like John Dean did” while they still can.
For those who don’t know, John Dean was a Nixon aide involved in the Watergate scandal who eventually crumbled under pressure and cooperated with investigators, throwing Nixon under the bus in the process.
Taken directly from a copy of the ad posted on the Conservative Caucus’ website:
“This is your opportunity to save yourself before Operation Fast & Furious comes crashing down like Watergate.
Don’t go to jail. Turn states evidence now just like John Dean did.
The truth will come out. Will you be caught in the web of Operation Fast & Furious, or will you avoid jail time?
Make the right choice now.
Your information will be treated in total confidence.”
Well, we certainly can’t argue that if there is evidence of collusion on the part of the Obama administration it should be turned over. And there are certainly people in this tough economy who could use an extra $100,000.
The Conservative Caucus, established in 1974, is a public policy organization and lobbying group that encourages grassroots citizen activism among conservatives.
The group has also released the following video:
Attorney General Eric Holder was found in criminal and civil contempt of Congress late last month by a full House of Representatives over his refusal to turn over documents relating to Fast and Furious. This was after Obama attempted to shield the attorney general by asserting executive privilege in a last-minute ploy to keep the documents from being released.
In Fast and Furious, agents of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Arizona implemented a tactic known as “gun-walking” to track weapons to high-level arms traffickers who long had eluded prosecution and to dismantle their networks, however, the weapons were lost.
At least two of the weapons ended up at the murder scene of slain U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in December of 2010 and have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens.

To this day, Congressional investigators have not been told who initiated or approved of the operation.

You end up wiht Romney, not very conservative. They will not act to stop it or they would be letting the public know something (then again they may have to keep it secrete,) but most likely they are doing nothing. There is no Department of Justice, only someone there to prevent Justice from being done for the American people to get rid of the thugs in the administration. We are dealing with something that has evolved into an almost dictatorship and it is not letting up. Legitimate voters mean nothing to people like these. Remember those being intimidated by people with guns at the polls and one had a baton? There is a huge difference between an investigation and excessive plastic surgery making Nancy Pelosi’s face hurt too much to read (it hurts us as well). I would easily comb through 70Kpages. Also, I could even read Barry’s 73 page thesis on socialist utopian redistributive “success” in America.
