Conservative Resurgence? Huffington Blames the ‘Lizard Brains’

As the intellectual Left struggles to understand why the majority of the country is standing athwart the Obama administration’s signature attempts at “fundamental transformation,” they’ve apparently agreed on one thing: we’ve all got lizard brains.

It turns out, according to people such as President Barack Obama and liberal media magnate Arianna Huffington, that many people are acting so irrationally because their brains are not fully developed and in times of uncertainty, we revert back to this “reptilian” way of thinking. (It couldn’t have anything to do with people actually disagreeing with them…)

During a recent appearance on The View, the president himself used this elitist line of thinking to try and explain the apparent rampant racism present in today’s society:

More recently, Huffington yesterday warned of the dangers of “lizard brains” in today’s electoral politics, blaming them for people’s so-called irrational support of Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell:

The “lizard brains” seem to be doing the trick for Christine O’Donnel. Since winning her primary election against Mike Castle she has raked in over $2 million in campaign contributions from reptilian supporters across the country.

      Some old notion in neurobiology based on some chap’s “Triune Brain” theory. Sort of a predecessor to the “Left Brain/Right Brain” nonsense more people may have heard of.

      The idea is that the entire reptilian brain has been conserved in mammals, you know…that great reptile we all evolved from and such.

      It’s supposed to totally govern the survival instinct. Things like this.

      A silliness that ******** still cling to as fact, because it supports their religion with respect to their creation myth.

      PSYCHOSIS You are so right…let them steam and react with arrogance and demeaning tones. It only serves to strengthen the side that wants what’s best for the whole country. Progressives seem to forget that there isn’t one politician that will become part of this mediocre “middle class utopia” they envision. They will be in the upper “ruling class” forever and we will be in the lower class forever…that is the plan people. There will be no middle class.
      But we are no longer afraid and we are awake…Thanks to Obama’s agressive socialist agenda. We want all incumbants out of office…dems and rep. We are not partial. Any representative that voted yes for any legislation without reading it should be shown the door!.       lol im writing to me……lol what EVERYONE IS MISSING………..the transfer of wealth that these people are talking about is not what Americans think it is. This is not a transference or redistribution of wealth from rich Americans to poor Americans…..your small lizard brains (lol im funny) dont seem to grasp the true concept. This is a redistribution of wealth FROM America to the rest of the poor……in the REST OF THE WORLD. You have to realize every American is considered rich compared to most median calculations of income to other countries. They have already started the machine by Obama shutting down drilling and giving upwards of 4 billion dollars to Brazil and Mexico to do exactly what Obama has shut down the U.S. from doing. In the same area in order to “save the world and environment.“ This was not done to ”save the environment”, but was done to limit our production and greatly assist in a poorer country to produce a product that we then will be forced to purchase from them. This has allready started with solar panels and light bulbs- (of all things……cheap to us right now, and you say so what, but everything is cheaper to make elswhere….mexico/ china etc. with the de- industrializing of our nation helped along by union reps (not union members mind you ) whose self stated goal is a world union….WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE……WORKING IN COLUSION WITH THIS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION and the FED in their goals to create a world bank and a world government that will strip America of its wealth and spread it around with them in control of everything this IS COMING AND MUCH SOONER THAN YOU THINK UNLESS WE STAND UP AND STOP IT

So I guess that Ms. Huff-n-puff is giving us what’s commonly known as a “left-handed compliment”.       I think there’s more conservative-minded people than liberal-minded people in America. I think the left stream media has ridiculed many into going underground these past 30 or so years. In my family, they were constantly baiting me to try to pick a fight, which doesn’t happen because I left the playground too many years ago, but when I used to take the bait, what would happen is that I was screamed at in the most vicious ways, insulted, called chicken little and other unprintable things and generally every time I would start to say anything, I would be shouted down. My husband and I haven’t been to a family thanksgiving or Christmas in 20 years because of the stupidity and unfairness of it. I believe this is what went on all over the country, in homes and in public forums. Add to that the left stream media making fun of conservatives constantly and before you know it, only a couple of us were left who would still stand up for what we believe. Right now, because it has gotten so bad, I think people have decided that come what may, we have to stop these people before they destroy the country. Our task is going to be to never let them push conservatives back underground again. If we have to stoop to their level and ridicule them and make them look stupi on every TV in the world, then so be it. We will have to be ready to fight fire with fire.

      My theory (bare with me) — I seem to remember Jim Morrison being the “Lizard King”. This statement from Ms. Huffington confuses me. If Jimbo (i.e. the Lizard King) was alive today, based on his actions while on this planet, I would have to say he would be a hard core Liberal, no? If that was the case, I’m sure our favorite leftist blogger (Miss Huffington) would be more likely to reproduce with Jimbo than say, a Sarah Palin type.       They could talk about how insurance companies raised rates like crazy this year as a result of ObamaCare.

      Or, they could talk about how the credit card companies DOUBLED interest rates for some high credit score (Very credit worthy) people before Obama’s credit card rules kicked in.

      Failing those, he could mention all the pretty-pretty signs littering our highways promising to put America to Work.

      Can’t even blame Bush anymore. People aren’t buying that this time around.

      All the more reasons for SUPPORTING Ms. Christine O’Donnell. We have to win there and I do think it will happen. I do not care about a poll from 1000 people, that is at times misleading, especially considering that more than 80000 voters turned up.       That was a personal religious view she had and it was something she was promoting 10 or 15 years ago. It‘s not like she’s trying to get that message written into law.

      The proffessor crosses his legs and prepares to educate the unwashed on how their thought process works. All the while his actions and comments indicate that he does not have the slightest notion of what the masses expect and want from their leadership – this clip is a case study on his arrogant “I know what’s best for you” attitude that will land him out of office after 1 term.

      That is what angers me, I Don’t like our Presidents Policy or Pelosi or Reid, but i don’t go around name calling…. I am an adult not a kid on the play ground. The left are constantly putting down or name calling whenever others have different view points…

      It was A funny read but shes only going to last so long when we vote to replace the LOONS and the one term Germ The Bama.We get to start the system up to prevent clowns like this to be supported by our tax dollars like the huff and puff post does now.I watch morning joe and he is in love with her all i know is when she talks i think of GREEN ACRES of yester year.i had a tantrum as i looked for tv control i was watching locked up in am to see if bloom bergs cronies were ok and forgot to change channel well my bad

      Here is my take on elitists’; there are those of us who naturally through nurture or providence just have a knack for common sense. Most common folk just seem to get it, like it is part and partial of their being. Then there are those who never get it about common sense and I would consider that an attribute of a moron. We tend to send them to collage? Why? I do not know. Then what we have is the elite educated general leftists-Marxists that are void of any common sense. Those folks I like to say “Nothing worse than educated moron experts to tell us what we need to do!” What happened to logic and common sense? How were these folks voted in, in the first place? Shame on us for not paying attention earlier…….WE NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE! VOTE< ALL OF YOU!

      I thought we are now supposed to teach our children not to ‘bully’ others. All this name calling is like an 8 yr old who can’t compete intellectually and resorts to calling others “Lizard Brain”. I hope these people grow up but after all those years during the 60‘s and 70’s of drugs and pot I won’t hold my breath. Hey, they don’t call it “dope” for nothing.

      I have no idea why that is the funniest thing to me! I had to laugh for 5 minutes that she thinks people that have different opinions from her have lizard brains. Actually, sometimes I wonder where their humanity is when they come up with some of the stuff they come up with. Lizard brains! And not even embarrassed to give such analysis publicly… Of course, it did give me my healthy fit of laughter- much lacking with all of the current news. Thank you Huff and Puff

      When did Arianna Huffington go through such a transformation? I can remember her appearing on panels representing the conservative side. Perhaps she had a lobotomy and had her lizard brain removed. It could be that when the ultra-left fully takes over they can include a lobotomy procedure in the re-education camps they will be implementing for those of us with still active lizard brains. These people are frightening with their elitist approach to everything.

      I can remember one of the elitist media members complaining about Sarah Pallin only graduating from the University of Idaho and since she did not attend an Ivy League institution she was unfit to serve. Isn’t this a revelation? All that is required to lead is to graduate from one of these schools and you can bypass learning anything on the job and just go right to CEO or president.

      BTW, how did all those elitist MBA graduates do for us on Wall Street? On second thought the answer is evident; we bailed them out and they continued to get their extravagant salaries and bonuses. Did you get bailed out? See, they really are smarter than the rest of us. They were not hurt at all in spite of what they did.

      Conservatives are sometimes guilty of this thought too. I once heard a commentator say that on Wall Street we must pay top dollar for top talent. That sounds reasonable but based on their performance and the mess they created where does one go to find this top talent? A magnifying glass may be required.

      It is comforting to know that all that will be required to gain a fully functioning elitist brain is to get a lobotomy. When you disagree with an elitist, it is simply your inner lizard self coming through.
