Meanwhile: over at CNN, Nancy Pelosi had this to say about the newest proposal by Harry Reid: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, told reporters that she needs to see “the final product” in writing before she can decide if she supports it.

Pelosi said she would meet with the House Democratic caucus on Monday to discuss the matter.

“I don’t know all the particulars of what the final product is in writing and what the ramifications will be,” Pelosi said, noting the measure will have an impact for a decade or more. Asked about the outcome, she warned: “We all may not be able to support it or none of us may be able to support it.”

This coming from the woman who told us we’d have to pass the bill (Obamacare) to find out what’s in it. This bat is insane!

I think she should ‘pass it’, so she can see what’s in it! Corn? I don’t remember eating corn.

I made the first comment before I saw it. I thought it might actually be cool. I liked a post from another subscriber here. He said it looked like a day in the life of a bum. I agree with that now. And at one point in the video it looks like a Communist, Russian Parliament, Not Capitol Hill. I also agree with another post, that this video is made to make them look as though, they are productive.

To solve the debt crisis, let’s withhold all the congress, representatives, senators, and president salaries until they get this economy fixed. They don‘t have a care in the world because they have passed laws so that they aren’t affected by this debt crap. So they don’t have to worry about it. Let’s start pulling all the pensions from the ones that were in office before them too. Because they helped to get us in this mess.

Here’s the best debt solution! Proposed by Congressman Ron Paul, MD, Lt Col, USAF, Ret., it’s both ingenious and just plain common sense.

The Federal Reserve is holding nearly two trillion dollars of recently acquired Treasury bonds, representing money that the government essentially owes to it’s self and therefore can easily be dissolved to solve the current crises.

“Here’s the plan in a nutshell: Out of the current $14.3 trillion federal debt we keep hearing is rapidly approaching the congressionally approved borrowing limit, over $1.6 trillion of that sum is money you and I “owe” to the Federal Reserve…”

“Paul, chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and arguably more knowledgeable about monetary policy than any other member of Congress, says just don’t pay it back, because it’s not a real debt.”[1]

Except for Paul, politicians avoid the real cause of our economic problems, which is not the debt ceiling but the Federal Reserve. It’s caused a century of turmoil including the great depression and a 95% devaluation of our once ‘good as gold’ dollar, now replaced by fiat Federal Reserve notes.[2]
