Coroner: Whitney Houston Accidentally Drowned, Had Cocaine in Her System

Singer Whitney Houston died from an accidental drowning after using cocaine, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said Thursday.
Heart disease was also a factor in her death, the coroner said. The official cause was “drowning” and “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”
Her death was ruled an accident, with no trauma or foul play suspected.
A toxicology report said Houston had several other drugs in her system, including marijuana, Benadryl and the anti-anxiety medication Xanax, but they “did not contribute to the death.”
Houston, who famously struggled with drug addiction, was found dead in a bathtub in her hotel room the night before the Grammy Awards. She was 48.
In a statement, Houston’s family said they were “saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure.”
A final coroner’s report is expected within two weeks.

When it is coke and other illegal drugs, no one in the media or law enforcement has what it takes to bring that down, do they? No, because you cannot have the Hollywood crowd without their cocaine and whatever else is supplied to them.

It is sad, and many of us really thought of her as a wonderful singer with great potential. There is nothing no one could do and those who were closest to her must have know how bad after drugs she was. You can sue doctors from here to kingdom come, but they will get out of it for the most part. People are getting away with more as time goes on because the jails are full and no one wants to babysit criminals. We had all better hope God intervenes in this or no flesh will be save sure enough.
