Cory Booker Does it Again: N.J. Mayor Shows Up at Accident Scene

Mayor Cory Booker is at it again — sort of.
Two months after he shot to national prominence for rescuing neighbors from a fire, the Newark, N.J. mayor showed up at the scene of a car accident where a pedestrian had just been hit — but it was someone else who did most of the heroics.
“God bless my residents. Pulled up on pedestrian/vehicle accident. We got man stabilized & into ambulance. He’ll b OK. Thanx 2 all who helped,” Booker tweeted Friday afternoon.
Booker told WNBC-TV he helped get water and ice for the victim and comforted the man until an ambulance arrived.
He followed up with a second tweet: “I appreciate the driver. Man ran into traffic. Driver did the right thing & stayed & helped me & others aid man until medical help arrived.”
According to the New Jersey Star-Ledger, law enforcement authorities said a county detective was actually the first on the scene and rendered most of the aid.
“The detective immediately called 911 and began to render assistance,” said Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor’s office. “He saw the victim was face down on the ground. He was bleeding from his mouth and nose. Det. [Michael] Davidson got some tissues from his trunk and began to wipe away the blood.”
Carter said Booker showed up “within minutes,” followed by an ambulance and Newark police.

I can’t say for sure that my mayor (of a mid-sized city) would’ve done either of the things Booker did. Actually, I can, he would not have. Especially the running into a burning bldg. I don’t believe that Booker has a scanner!!

The knockout game is a big gang of punk kids who walk around the city and essentially jump someone and beat them up until they are knocked out. One additional fact, the kids are all black and the victims are all white, except for one oriental dude who ended up dying from this game.

Cory Booker is just trying to insure his political future. Obama has a larger stage from setting up terrorists in Times Square to a new underwear bomber threat that ‘outed’ secret agents’ covers so he could be a hero. As for Bin Laden…what a cowardly manever to allow the Pakistan doctor to take the fall. Obama was very cozy with the Pakistans when he covertly spent time ln Pakistan with his Pakistani roomates in his early student days. Maybe when people finally learn that his staged autobiograhies are a lie, they will listen to the truth. I hope it is not too late.

Does Booker have a police scanner in his vehicle or home? Usually in Politics as usual, the person who gets chastised by the Demokrat Party for a verbal misstep, then gets rewarded for being faithful to the Regime with a position or running for a political office or a higher political office. If Booker put on a cape, jumped the twin towers in a single bound, saved a bus of white nationals from going over a bridge, then I might not be so skeptical. If it is sincere, good for him if it just for PR then shame on him and the shallow minds who thought it up to do.

Let’s think the best until proven otherwise. Even Reagan eventually saw the error of his ways and joined the conservatives. Have some REAL hope!

He knows in his heart the Democrats are on the wrong track. This man is intelligent, but he needs to stand on the laws of this land and proud of it. He keeps showing up in hero spots, but the real heros are those who stand firm on the truth. Cory may get it all together and know in his heart what is right and go for it. He will win if he is strong and stands on God’s principals. He owes no one anything but the Truth in his stewardship God has allowed.

However, I sure wouldn’t mind my Mayor having a police scanner in his car and going to help if he happens to be nearby. There are worse things the guy could do. Booker didn’t seem to over-emphasize his involvement.
