‘Could We Have Actual Facts?’: Ann Coulter Slams Democrats in Segment With Megyn Kelly

Ann Coulter is many things, but the type of woman to mince words she is not. Having accused the Democratic party of being populated by traitors, liars, godless heathens, brainless half-wits, criminals masquerading as victims, and (most recently) people with the mindset of demons, one would not expect Coulter to look on the recent behavior by the Democratic party with anything but contempt.

Nor does she. In fact, in a segment with Fox News’s Megyn Kelly, Coulter made the extent of her contempt for the Obama-era Democratic party excruciatingly clear, describing their behavior as “mob-like” and determined to use deceptive imagery to mask their actual beliefs. Coulter’s appearance, via Mediaite:

“Any criticism of a Democratic policy is considered a personal attack,” Coulter explains in reaction to a clip of Chris Matthews accusing the President’s opponents of birtherism. “Welfare and food stamps are policies Obama has. He altered the 1996 welfare reform which was the requirement of work.”

Coulter then proceeds to use this example of Mitt Romney’s recent attack on the President for undermining the welfare-to-work requirement to show the degree to which Democrats are uncomfortable with attacks on their policies: ”

“They have jettisoned the work requirement. That’s what Democrats call a below-the-belt ad while Biden is saying Republicans want to put black people back in chains? That’s supposed to be comparable? …Republicans are terrified people won’t understand what they are saying. Democrats are terrified people will understand what they are saying. That’s why they talk in images and myths and slogans. And that works on a crowd.”

After repeating again that Democrats are “mob like,” Coulter goes for the jugular, describing the Left as intrinsically the party of violence.

“All of the violence, the raids, the storming the barricades, the people standing outside peoples’ homes, that all comes from the Left,” she says.

Strong words, but one would – and should – expect nothing less from Ms. Coulter.

    Ann is great! The democrats taking up for Biden are wrong by saying he meant put us all in chains. He plainly looked into the crowd and said put ya’ll back in chains, not referring at all to himself. He and Obama…well the whole administration think they are in a separate world from the rest of us….they rule, we listen. Nope, we hired them and we all rule, they lead…well they don’t, but soon we can elect some that will..

      Ann’s strength is her research and penchant for seeking the truth. I have enjoyed and learned a lot from all of her books. For the past 30-40 years, we’ve been under (silent) siege from these Progressives (Socialism’s newer name) as they plotted and planned to take over America.
      If anyone ever stopped to wonder how a 2700 page Obamacare bill could miraculously show up in less than 3 mos of his being in office…it‘s because it’s was written for the past 20 years!
      The Root Problem is that most of the Liberals do NOT believe in GOD. They think (I’ve said this before) that THEY somehow have to fix everything.
      They don‘t ’get it’ that problems are here as obstacles to strengthen our character and everyone has HELP if they will just seek out GOD. He made us, He made everything and He is waiting for us to come to Him. (one sure way we know that Islam is a cult from Satan is the force that those misguided and/or evil people have to use to keep people praying. Not so with Christianity. We made fade in and out but we know there is a larger picture. Then you have the really bad people, like GEO. SOROS who want to see everything destroyed so he can come scoop it up for ten cents on the dollar.       I’m glad that FOX straight news – your source for fair and balanced news – is promoting Ann Coulters new book “Demonic.” We report, you decide networks fair and balanced networks always give softball interviews to people who view their philosophical counterparts as demonic. Megan may get a Pulitzer for this one.

      Personally, I don’t think Coulter is a transvestite. That’s often reported on both right and left leaning news organizations. I agree that she looks and acts a little “iffy” along those lines, but that proves nothing. To all of you people who claim she‘s a transvestite I’d challenge you. Where is your proof? I think this entire transvestite thing is a concoction by people who are trying to make Coulter look demonic.

      But THANK YOU FOX and your straight news division for avoiding this issue and allowing such a deep thinker like Coulter, who puts William F. Buckley to shame, to hawk her book, “Pure Stupid Crap That Only the Uninformed and Ignorant Will Suckle Upon,” over and over on your network. FOX: fair and balanced; we promote Coulters book, you decide if you’re stupid enough to buy it.

I’m sure you give such distinctions to people like Piers, and Matthews who make wonderful reporters. But they can continue to lavish themselves with rewards useless twits give other useless twits such as the Pulitzer.

      Let me ask you something, you say Fox is responsible for every thing wrong with the country, but how is it one news channel has accomplished that much when about a dozen different channels, and the President of the United States denounce them regularly? Me thinks the message of much of the media now falls on deaf ears and they are very upset at that fact.

      I think she pretty much nailed it when she said, “Republicans are afraid that the people won’t understand their message. Democrats fear that they will understand their message.”
      The constant lies and hypocrisy from the Left demonstrate this well. Meanwhile, we have to write entire books just to explain the simplest ideas like, “Why small government is better” or even incredibly obvious things like, “You can’t spend your way out of debt.” Yet from them we get idiocy such as Pelosi’s, “Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program,” and then we hear the rocks rattlings against their skulls as they all nod in agreement.
      They hide the fact that they want the government to take whatever they want from whomever they want as long as they can keep voters foolishly believing that the corruption and lies doesn’t affect them. We simply say that we can control our own lives better than any possible government dictates.
      Progressives fantasize about creating a perfect society. Well, life will never be perfect. We each have different needs, different ideas, different skills and no matter how they try, they’ll never be able to set values on all things, for all people, in all places. So, the free market is the only system that can possibly work. Yet they’re always blaming the free market for their problems. What do they propose then? Marxism is all they have? Then they’re setting the world up for an horrific future – AGAIN.

The approval of these waivers included a requirement that the state programs show better results than the current program. MA requested one of these waivers while Romney was governor. This is one of Romney’s multiple lies and now ANN COULTER shows herself as the liar she is. And by the way every time Ann Coulter comes on TV to make her typical misrepresentation and angry mob rants, she is getting ready to release a book or realizes she is irrelevant.

      Would be refreshing for Mytheos to do some work and actually point out that the overturning the Welfare to work claim Romney and now Ann Coulter are making is a flat out lie. But as GB says, don‘t take anyone’s word for that do your own research. That is if you really want the truth. Waivers were approved to 10 states, several with Republican governors, with the requirement that their programs showed better results than the current. Why is it that everyone is ok with their guy lying. Megan Kelly showed her lack of professionalism and class by allowing Ann to repeat the lie.

      No kidding! Beware of Federal officials and their “mandates”. Mandates = overreaching Federal bureaucrats passing laws and regulations telling states what they MUST do, without providing any way to pay for what they are demanding.

      Contrary to the PC CRAP being taught as “history” in schools these days, we fought a CIVIL WAR about the issue of how much power the Federal Govt. has to tell states what to do. The Feds were trying to force Southern states to submit to cotton tariffs favorable to powerful interests in the Northeast to the economic detriment of the South , while telling the South they had no say in the matter and had to follow the dictates of the Federal govt., which was contrary to the Constitution. These and other, similar disputes set the stage for the secession of Southern states and the Civil War. Slavery was, at best, a side issue to the dispute. Most southerners did not even own slaves–why would they have been willing to go to WAR to defend slavery? They went to WAR to defend states’ rights to say “no” to the demands of an overreaching Federal government. Kind of like Arizona is doing now–attempting to enforce FEDERAL immigration laws that our worthless Fed govt. as now instituted (led, if you want to call it “leading” by our worthless POS of a POTUS) refuses to enforce, while telling Arizona they are WRONG to do so!

      Medicare is part of Social Security and it is better to confuse those two than confuse them with Obamacare and ignore both altogether as Obama does. He has medicare disappearing in Obamacare at a cost of over 700 billion for medicaid cost to many non-Americans. We have paid for our SS and medicare as well as paying medicaid for those paying nothing.

    Remember growing (early 50′s here) and watching “very important press conferences” with politicians? Well, I do, and there were many microphones in front of that politician:

    What’s funny, and highlights the hypocrisy of the right, is the FACT that Obama is trying to give the States more power over how they can move people off of welfare. Put another way, he’s working to make the Federal Government LESS in charge of things. But of course that doesn‘t fit the narrative so Coulter doesn’t just twist the facts, she makes up new ‘facts’ that sound better for her audience. Other estimates put that day much sooner. One may assume the new majority will not be such compassionate overlords as the white majority has been. If this sort of drastic change were legally imposed on any group other than white Americans, it would be called genocide. Yet whites are called racists merely for mentioning the fact that current immigration law is intentionally designed to reduce their percentage in the population.

      But that is the past.

      Now, today, in the real world of 2012, things are different.

      It was the Republicans who changed the subject.
      It was the Republicans who brought up race because their base is fearful and unites at the thought of Black people being empowered.
      Mr. Beck supposedly educated you that there were white slaves too.
      And there will be again if the Republican economic proposals are enacted.

      This isn’t about race, it’s about economic policy.

      Mitt Romney wants to lower the tax rates on the rich and “close loopholes” so the overall tax revenues do not decrease. If the rich are paying less taxes, who is going to make up the difference?
      Everybody else.

      And that’s only the tip of the iceberg of the nasty things they have planned.

      That’s the Republican solution.
