Last night, Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly squared off on “The O’Reilly Factor” over whether New York Gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino’s (R) recent anti-gay comments helped or hurt him.
Mediaite sets up the clip this way:
Coulter argued to a very skeptical Bill O’Reilly that Paladino had only attacked “gay left-wing activists,” not all gays, and had actually refused to read the part of his speech that stated homosexuality is a sin or, as Coulter called it, “the Leviticus part.” O’Reilly wasn’t buying it, telling her that it seemed pretty clear he was attacking all people that identify as LGBT, and that no matter how she spun it, it was hard to see the comments as positive. “I think everybody but you in the world agrees,” he tells her, “this isn’t going to help the guy.” She disagreed, citing the comments are good politics: “[the audience didn't] want to hear about the fiscal issues. They want to hear about the moral issues.”
To shamelessly steal part of a phrase from O‘Reilly’s network, you decide:

Report Post »I like the posts on here that are honest about homosexuality and other types of sins like adultery and fornication and drunkeness. None of these shall inherit the kingdom of God. Also, I am sick and tired of the homosexual agenda to force their lifestyle down our thoats. These people are going to force us in the future to defend ourselves the same way that the angels had to strike the homosexual crowd blind when they come to rescue Lot and his family. Remember Lots mind was also compromised from living in the city for so long that he offered them his daughters. If I were living in a big city, I would be making plans to get out of there because they will be very bad hot spots in the future.

Like the left with tree ring studies on the environment, they have 5000 samples 4996 of which show no man made global warming, 4 that show it, they throw out the 4996 and report the 4 as irrefutable proof. They take all the twin studies done on homosexuals in the past, throw them out, and point that in early adolescence some animals go through a stage where the role play as proof born gay is a proven fact.

They will never be able to stop the inner self conscience that’s keeps on telling them what they are doing is wrong, and that will never change. All people are created in the image of God. And all have the inner conscience that will never leave you alone no matter how much you ignore it. On daily bases you have to convince your self that it is ok, and every day you will have a felling that it is not. The only way out: Listen to your conscience!!

It‘s not the community’s business what you do in the privacy of your own home and with whom. I believe your sex life should be private not celebrated up and down public streets. However, I do believe they are sick puppies and need medical and psychological help. This is my opinion and I have a right to say how I feel. Not just the other way around. I would not want to see children indoctricated in grade school that being gay is ok. Their young minds are too impressionable and being gay is NOT a normal mainstream lifestyle. I suppose any gays who would read this might get their panties in a wad, but hey I have my right to free speech so tough.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:38amI applaud Mr. Paladino for his honest stand and statement against gays, homosexual or lesbian. Why are those people somehow “ off limits ” for criticism and condemnation for their deviate lifestyle?
Their immoral conduct is not an “ alternative lifestyle ” as they like to call it. It’s an unnatural sexual perversion condemned in the Bible and by the international community. Normal people shouldn‘t be expected to take up their flag and support their movement as they did in the 60’s during the civil rights marches.
The “ virtures ” of homosexuality should not be presented to our children as acceptable behavior no more than those addicted to alcohol, drugs or pornography. Homosexuality is not genetically transmitted at birth. It’s a learned and chosen conduct through association. Homosexuals know this and that’s why they want children exposed to it as early as possible for future recruitment.
It‘s a shame that more politicians don’t have the guts to condemn what they know is wrong and refuse to speak out against it for fear of losing votes.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:29amWhile I agree that this will probably have a slight negative effect on his support, there is also, on the other hand, the truth. What he said was simply the truth. Often the truth isn’t what is popular. That‘s one of the reasons we’re in the cultural/political mess we’re in in this country. Mustn‘t hurt anyone’s precious little feelings. We are not going to make it through these times and survive if we don’t learn to accept the truth, straight no chaser, and work from that point simply by the facts, and not by the emotions. That’s why “first it will make you miserable”. Disapproving something (a lifestyle, practice, etc.) does not automatically equate to hatred. With every step we take away from the truth we stand a little farther outside of His light and guidance. We also need to stay focused on the real important issues right now and not allow ourselves to get deflected by minor side issues which will not even be coming up for a vote.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:52pmMike Huckabee was regarded by fellow Republican governors as a compulsive tax increaser and spender. He increased the Arkansas tax burden by 47 percent, boosting the levies on gasoline and cigarettes. The Arkansas Leader.com editorialized that Mike Huckabee raised more taxes in 10 years in office than Bill Clinton did in his 12 years.
The National Education Association endorses any candidate who raises taxes and opposes school choice – thus they endorsed Mike Huckabee.
Huckabee “broadly repudiates core Republican policies such as free trade, low taxes, the essential legitimacy of America’s corporate entities and the market system allocating wealth and opportunity,” according to George Will.
The Arkansas Ethics Commission held proceedings 20 times on the former governor. During his tenure, Huckabee accepted 314 gifts valued overall at more than $150,000, according to documents filed with the Arkansas secretary of state’s office. (He accepted 187 gifts in his first three years as governor but was not required to report their value.)
Two months after taking office, Huckabee stunned the state by saying he questioned rapist Wayne DuMond’s guilt and that it was his intention to free the rapist, DuMond murdered a women in Illinois after Huckabee set him free
Huckabee battled conservatives within his own party who were pushing for stricter state-level immigration measures, such as:.
– proof of legal status when applying for state services that aren’t federally mandated
- proof of citizenship when registering to vote
- Huckabee failed in his effort to make children of illegal immigrants eligible for state-funded scholarships and in-state tuition to Arkansas colleges.
He joined the Democratic chorus in indicting President Bush for his “arrogant bunker mentality.” Is he in the right party?
Huck’s use of the “Christian Leader” title and the Cross in his ads and his attempt to denigrate Mitt Romney’s religion is a thinly-veiled attempt to impose a religious test in violation of Article Six of the Constitution
The Huckster was the keynote speaker at an anti-Mormon conference in Salt Lake City. And he knows nothing about Mormons? And the “Christian Leader” doesn’t want to release his sermons?
He led the Arkansas Baptists liberal congregations in a dispute with the conservative Southern Baptist Conference.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:10amWho considers Paladino a bastion of morality, anyway? The guy sends an email of bestiality, a woman with a horse, and we care how he feels about gays? In his defense of the bestiality video, maybe it was his way of promoting stable relationships.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:55amYay! I have nothing to say regarding the original post…I’m just replying to it so MY post, and MY words, will be closer to the top for the whole world to see. I am shamelessly narcissistic and vain, yet I spout family values, honor, and integrity. In short, I make all the country loving conservatives on this site look like self-serving morons.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 12:02pmI did not know about the ‘horse’ incident, quite vulgar and repulsive I must say. With that being said, unless Paladino ‘comes out’ and denounces his own vile acts first, he has no place talking morality with anyone. You cannot choose which moral standards you enlist to keep and then expect to be a moral compass to anyone. O‘ Reilly also doesn’t get it, the aforementioned should have been his arguement but he chose to act and speak as if ‘everyone else’ accepts homosexuality to which I say boo to you O’ Reilly, morality will ALWAYS be a ‘true’ part of leadership and will actually be the ONLY thing that holds together any good act, service, or legislation in the long run. The bible specifically states, “Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is abomination.” LEV 17: 22. For any christian (O’Reilly?) to try and equivocate tolerance with going against scripture (even in the political arena) shows that inside themselves they are infirm on this doctrine. Many other scriptures denounce ‘unnatural affection’ and also show the destructions that came by way of that acceptance (Sodom, Gomorrah).

I wouldn’t want to live in New York and have to tolerate the no morals slime balls parading around half nude performing things only meant to be done in their bedrooms. Our children have enough of this kind of crap to digest, they don’t need more! New Yorkers need to wake up!

Isn’t he the guy who had a reformed homosexual (yes, Bill, homosexuality is an “act” like any other crime) on his show and shouted him down at his every attempt to explain his return to normal behavior? Yeah, THAT Bill O’Reilly.

Posted on October 12, 2010 at 8:49pmFinally, a politician who calls a “spade a spade”. How many readers think the gay and lesbian parades help our civilization advance? How many readers would take their children to gay and lesbian parades?
The only reason for these parades is for the GLBT community to exhibit their perfidy. In their twisted logic, bad is good, and good is bad. E’nuf said.
