Coulter: ‘Gays Have Got to Be Pro-Life‘ Because ’Liberal Yuppies‘ Would Abort ’Homosexual’ Babies

Ann Coulter has a penchant for making controversial statements that often lead to snickers, jeers and plenty of other reactionary responses. In an upcoming episode of Logo’s “A List: Dallas,” the well-known conservative pundit told Taylor Garrett, a gay Republican and a cast member on the show, some things about liberals and abortion that will surely get people talking.
The general premise of her words: Gays and lesbians should become pro-life, because liberals may start aborting their unborn gay children once a homosexual gene is discovered.
“The gays have got to be pro-life. As soon as they find the gay gene, guess who the liberal yuppies are gonna start aborting?,” she said. Watch her comments, below:
In October, Garrett claimed that he was the victim of a hate crime for his support of Coulter. Following a filming session with the conservative pundit, he claims someone threw a brick through his window.
Here’s how the incident was described, in his own words:
“I was in LA last week filming with Ann Coulter. I got back late, late, late on Thursday night. I woke up to a knock on my door. It was our apartment manager and he told me that there was broken glass on my balcony. I didn’t realize that my window had been broken because my window is double paned and it had only broken on the outside. I didn’t realize it Thursday night when I got in.
So the manager told me that he had filed a police report and the security guard that lives on site — he’s also a police officer — was there and he said he put my information in the police report. So, I didn’t call the police myself because they had already done it for me. Then, I called the detective to talk about it and they said, “Your name isn’t on the report.” And I said, “What?” So, that’s when I called and made my own report. If [the person who did this] really is crazy and intent on hurting me and I went missing, I want a report with my name on it so there’s a record of this.”
As far as Coulter goes, this isn‘t the first time she’s made controversial statements about gays. In July, she appeared on CNN Headline News’ “The Joy Behar Show,” where she stated her belief that it’s possible to “pray the gay away.”
Watch the appearance, below:
The “gay gene” comments are the latest to come from Coulter, who was censored at the end of last month for calling Arizona Sen. John McCain a “dickweed” on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
What will she say next? Stay tuned for more.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 9:21amI do find it refreshing to see a conservative woman essentially making the argument that “being gay” is biologically based, not a choice. She doesn’t say “if” scientists find a gay gene, but “when.” As out-there as her comments can be, at least she agrees that many people don’t choose to be gay.

Someday she should actually do something productive. She is the sad little girl in the front of the room waving her hand and blurting out answers in an effort to get attention and be relevant. If the DoE regulations are the law of the land…why are you not content to suck it up or get out of the country? That’s how the gay community feels about your rules. The more each side feels the need to enforce THEIR rules, the less freedom we all have.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 8:10amI have known those who claim that they have NEVER felt any attraction to the “:opposite sex”..so I can’t say for sure that there is no pathological pencant for homosexuality.
I don’t believe that there is, but I cannot make that a definitive statement (if I’m being honest).
If we go from the view that many cling to (that it is a pathology) then she may be correct, if you could determine the “pathology” of a child early enough, how many would want to avoid having a child that would not continue a bloodline (our most obvious link to any kind of immortality).
Rosie O’Donnel is upset because her adopted son is showing “male aggressive behavior” (he wants to play with guns etc.). This leads me to believe that the boy is likely to be “straight” despite her efforts.
Food for thought, not true evidence by any means.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 8:07amNo doubt many homosexuals would like to have their claim that they were ‘born that way’ validated by some assertion of a discovered gene. How long would it be before the gene for pedophiles, other sodomites, and heterosexual adulterers also be discovered so that they can all claim they were born that way? Or maybe return to the old, old excuse, “The devil made me do it.” Humans sure do have a penchant for shifting responsibility for their actions.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 8:14amIt doesn‘t matter if there is or isn’t a homosexual gene, or one for pedophilia, etc. (There is one for Adultary; it’s called a Y chromosone.) Even if it is not innate, a person could still get the disorder innocently.
The point is, animals hump anything that will sit still, including their kids and siblings. We are human beings, and we have free wil to overcome biology. And we are expected to. How one got the temptation is only helful for therapists; the point is to try to overcome it.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 8:55am@MZK1 I realize you were joking, but just FYI with respect to men being more lilkely to commit adultery, I heard a recent study which indicated that it was power which most influenced the likelihood of adultery and not gender. Apparently women in positions of power are as equally likely as men to commit adultery.
Report Post »Hobo Boondocks
Posted on December 9, 2011 at 9:30am@MZK1
Report Post »The matter of males having one Y chromosome and one X chromosome does not prove or explain that males are somehow inevitably destined to be adulterers. “I’m an adulterer because I’m male.” Females have two X chromosomes, why do some of them commit adultery? “I’m an adulterer because I’m female?” To assert we only do things because we have genes that are the building blocks of what we are as humans puts us into the category of animals that are moved to behaviors, actions primarily by instinct (many animals ‘teach’ their young survival skills such as hunting and hiding tactics.) But who taught the very first ones these skills if they are necessary for survival? Certain Swans mate for life, along with some others- why is that? While others, such as dogs, horses etc. will have many mates, why is that? If we are all the product of evolution, the immense diversity within species and behaviors makes absolutely no sense, but that’s the foundation of evolution anyway, dispense with logic and reason and anything becomes possible.

I odn’t know if anyone caught that, “Polymorphous Perversity”. That was (is?) the name of a Psychological Humor journal. One of the main things that the articles – remember, this is a journal by and for Psychiatrists, Psychologists and the like – were statirizing was the APA’s political decision to remove the perversions (including homosexualty, provided you didn’t want to be) from DSMIV, the fourth edition of the catalog of psychiatric disorders.

Report Post »V-Forge
Posted on December 9, 2011 at 8:06amIf it is genetic and not a simple choice then yes. you should be able to see it in the DNA. I personally believe it is genetic, I work with gay people and have been and still are friends with them so i know what i am talking about. it’s okay to be gay but it is not okay to live your life like every night is a sex party with a new collection of partners. I have known moral, respectable gays and i have known gays that were sex obsessed freaks. People need to draw the line between those and not a circle around them. I have known straight people that were moral and some sex obsessed freaks as well. Find a partner to love and live your life in a clean moral way and i have no problem with you. Eventually we will be able to do a premarital blood test that will let us know what the child will be and parents can decided if they want to have a child at all then this conflict will go away. let the gays be gay and shun those that are immoral and do the same with the straights. Just being gay is not being immoral. If you think being gay is immoral then i have nothing to say to you because you are not a mature, reasonable person. It is genetic and eventually there will be a pill that corrects it before conception. In the mean time look at your own life and morality and stop covering your own sins by attacking people that have done nothing to you. Some people are born with extra toes and some are born gay. Do you really hate those extra toes so much you would outlaw them??

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 9:12pmThe interpretation of my point is lost here i guess. i simply mean that I think it is genetic and yes eventually we will find many things that will eventually be alterable. Being fat is genetic. So is being short or tall. Non symmetrical faces are ugly according to some study i read. You want your kid to be butt ugly? you would change it if you could. A talent for singing might be in several traits that can be modified. Your kid might be the next big star.. The seduction is too simple to ignore and it will happen in time. If that is distasteful then good for you with the ugly, fat, untalented kid that is just a loveable scamp.
