‘Cavorting with Hookers’: Cowboy Libertarian Has Theory on Why Eliot Spitzer Got Own Show

While we’ve heard of “San Francisco values” — a term coined by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — we‘re not certain we’ve ever heard of San Francisco’s “cowboy values.” Until now, that is.
Radio host and “Cowboy Libertarian” Patrick Dorinson shared his thoughts on the ethics held by cowboys versus city-slickers when he appeared on Fox & Friends Monday, using Eliot Spitzer’s foray with prostitutes to outline the difference between the two groups.
Hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade seemed somewhat amused while Dorinson lauded Texas Governor Rick Perry before stating that the moral decay of society is what lead to someone like Eliot Spitzer being allowed to host his own television show despite “cavorting with hookers.”
“What happens when a guy like Eliot Spitzer gets a TV show after he’s out cavorting with hookers?” Dorinson asked.
The topic of cowboy values came up at the opening of the segment when Karl Rove stated that Perry “needs to fight the impression that he’s a cowboy from Texas.” However, Dorinson explained that “cowboy values” are “the simple virtues that built this country.”
Dorinson, who doesn’t think George W. Bush is a cowboy “but shares our values,” agreed with the Fox Hosts that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie could be an east coast version of a cowboy. Dorison claims Christie has “got that same straight talk“ and that ”he’s not going to BS you” — just like a cowboy.

Posted on August 23, 2011 at 7:12amI wish he would comment on Rev. Al Sharpton getting a show on MSNBC –
since Sharpton made a name for himself – in the 1960s – as a “Civil Rights Leader” –
after convincing a young black teenage girl – Tawana Bradley – and her mother – to participate in an Act of Degradation – to rub dog-shyt on herself – and falsely portray she was kidnapped, sexually-assaulted and humiliated by white police officers – so that Al Sharpton could use these FALSEHOODS – to incite a RACE WAR.
The fact that Sharpton escaped prosecution – for devising the criminal conspiracy – and to file a false police report – does not make a reliable or credible talk show host – for any network.
Rev. Al Sharpton is a POVERTY PIMP – anyway!

So we have San Francisco values, like gay men running around in speedos dancing to techno disco music. Then you have this guy’s values….being honest, not running around with hookers, meaning what you say (unlike former president Bill Clinton)…..basically a racist according to the left. If you don’t have any dirt on somebody, always fall back on calling them a racist to put them on the defensive–ancient liberal proverb

Posted on August 23, 2011 at 1:09amI don’t know enough about Perry to comment on what you posted, but, I will say that the occupational name for someone who works cattle from the back of a horse, cowboy, is, and has been severely abused. In this day and age ‘cowboy values’ could mean just about anything you want it to mean. Bar room buckaroos might have a different interpretation than, say, the guy in that Village People bunch. People who only have knowledge of ‘cowboys’ from movies might think that Spitzer has ‘cowboy values’ BECAUSE he is a patron of prostitutes. I would wager that there are more real cowboys, and there families, that have and practice good moral values and integrity, than ones who drink whiskey for breakfast, get in gun fights every day and visit prostitutes every night like Hollywood cowboys do in the movies. I always wonder who is doing the work on those movie ranches.
I do know there is such a thing as cowboy type values, but, in this context, coming from this ‘dude’, who says Chris Christie could be an “east coast version”, it is virtually meanliness…..To me anyway!

One rancher’s opinion of Obama;
While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, who’s hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his job as president.
The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obalmy is a ‘Post Turtle”.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him
what a ‘post turtle’ was. The old rancher said, ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that‘s a ’post turtle’.
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain. ‘You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, and he doesn‘t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with’.

So it doesn’t behoove us to slam those in opposition or to make slurs towards those who cause havoc in our communities. That means changing the way we operate. We need to feed the hungry, care for the sick, Educate with honesty and integrity. Posted on August 22, 2011 at 10:49pmI here what you are saying and I also believe that to change things we have to change one person around us at a time. We will never take back this country until we can fully expose the Left for what they are and what they believe is nonsense that keeps people dependant on them. Its a cruel system they have created for themselves but people are now dependant upon it and thats tough to change from the outside when your viewed as the enemy and your values of good old fashioned hardwork, self reliance are just tools to keep them slaves to the corporations. An understanding of the biblical principal of the curse of work upon man must be addressed for we are all supposed to work. Trouble is Satan knows that curse and he trys to undermine God curse of work by setting up these dependency systems of government that gets man out from under the curse thus snubbing God and destroying man at the same time. Humanist approaches to our problems will never solve them. You’ve got to get God almighty involved and it is only then that we will realize the Utopia he had planned from the beginning. But see we will not go that way, and our problems are getting worse not better. The climax of this is looming, we do not have 30 years to turn this around, I doubt 2 years more. Your thoughts?

Yes, I’ve been on many ranches. My Grandfather was a Cowboy as were his brothers, my uncles, several cousins, and most of the people around them. I was all around Cowboy in our local Jr Rodeo in 1979 and 1980 and later became a professional Soldier. mostly to obtain better skills to survive on. In fact I currently live in an area where horses and cattle likely outnumber the population. So, what does this all mean? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Even the toughest Cowboy can produce offspring who are unable to “produce”. Even the toughest cowboy comes to a place in life where he can no longer bring in the herd. Not everyone can live in the country and produce they’re own food. In fact with laws today, even trading food without government approval can become a challenge. Just so you know, they have “real laws” with “real consequences” everywhere in America. Expanded rapid growth of government is the biggest problem we face. The more people depend on government the less we depend on each other and the more divided we become as a family, community, city, county, state, and Country!
The fact of the matter is, people who live in the country farmers or ranchers have always depended on each other. When someone needed work done we all went to help. If your roof blew off in a storm, the whole community came to help. Now we all just wait for F.E.M.A or donate a few dollars to some unknown charity rather than get our own hands dirty.

I’d also like to point out, and I‘m not sure whether this is the Blaze’s writers’ faults or if Dorinson is as retarded as he looks, but “lead” should be either “leads” or “led”–either the tense or the numeration needs to be different, pick one. Because the subject “moral decay” is a third person, and therefore it “leads”–I lead, you lead, he/she/it LEADS. OR, you could say that it LED, because in the past tense the conjugations are the same for the different persons (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Unfortunately, as it is it just sounds like SOMEONE, and again I don’t know who, but SOMEONE is an illiterate ******–not really doing a whole lot for your credibility.
