Blistering Attacks Trigger CPAC‘s ’Muslim Brotherhood’ Meltdown

Suhail Khan is a member of the American Conservative Union’s board of directors. ACU hosts and operates the Conservative Political Action Committee’s annual conference, and during this week’s CPAC conference in Washington, Khan has come under fire for alleged links to the Muslim Brotherhood. During a panel on conservative inclusion at CPAC on Saturday, Khan flatly declared that there is no Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.

There were two ideological flash points for pre-CPAC boycotts, protests, and vitriol. One, very well covered, was the anger that social conservatives — including ACU board member Cleta Mitchell — harbored about the inclusion of the gay Republican group GOProud. One, less well-covered, came from “anti-Jihadist” activists who consider ATR President Grover Norquist and ACU board member Suhail Khan supplicants of the Muslim threat to America.

The anti-jihadists did not boycott the event. Pamela Gellar and Robert Spencer held two crowded screenings of their film “The Ground Zero Mosque: Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks,” not sponsored by CPAC, but across from the main ballroom. David Horowitz, the leftist-turned-conservative muckraker, got the speaking slot right after Haley Barbour. He used most of his time to blister Khan and Norquist, accusing them of working on the behalf of terrorists, in line with the plans of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Suhail Khan used his offices in the Bush administration,” said Horowitz, “with Grover’s support, to carry water for the terrorist Sami al Arian.”

Khan told Slate:

“These are old, tired, baseless attacks that have been debunked by reputable sources,” said Khan. “This is baseless, and they’re coming from people who are becoming more and more marginalized.”

On Horowitz in particular: “I’m not surprised. This is a former communist who’s still using Saul Alinsky tactics. A few years ago, I was supposed to be part of al Qaeda. Now it’s the Muslim Brotherhood. It‘s whatever’s in the news.”

    The Guardian has obtained a court document which shows that on 10 December last year – six years after his initial arrest and subsequent guilty plea – he was sentenced to “time served” and charged $500 (£310) by the court in a “special assessment” fee. The document also reveals that Babar had by then spent just over four years in some form of prison and more than two years free on bail.

      It’s not phobic to be against something that wishes that any other religious (or non-religious) belief must be wiped from the face of the Earth. Islam is a backward religion, that is still living in the twelfth century. Their “god” married a six-year-girl, and consummated the marriage when the girl was nine years old. We call those men who desire sex with children – pedophiles. If you’re a male, do nine year old girls “turn you on”? Let’s not dismiss the many references in the Koran about “young boys being the ”pearls” for Islamic men. Many Muslim men have parties where a young male is the star attraction.

      There is nothing phobic about “dissing” a religion that subjugates women, abuses children, both sexually and physically, and believes that anyone who doesn’t believe in their cesspool – must be wiped from Earth. Islam = disgusting.

That said, Chrisianity did evolve and not FORCE people to convert anymore. Maybe if islam could just chill and evolve like Chrisianity did, things would not be so tense.

    Joe McCarthy had the right idea…but went off the rails with his severe alcholism. He is demonized today but no one can deny he slowed down the spread of Communism in the 1950′s, even if it was through the sheer fear of being outed in that day. It was kind of chic to dabble in Socialism during the golden years of Hollywood, until it became a big taboo. Then the Communists regrouped and tried a more subtle approach. They went undergound through the SDS and infilltrated our colleges.

    I say go for it….weed out these Islamist sympathizers no matter how many toes are stepped on. If they are clean they will be exhonorated.

There are court cases pending because of “honor killings,” where a man has killed his own daughter for marrying someone other than the one he chose. There were two sisters, beautiful girls, who were murdered by their father because of some weirdo belief he had that they were not even guilty of. AND THESE WERE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Those who don’t are considered to be “infidels” or “unfaithful” to Islam and therefore are worthy of death, regardless of age or sexual gender.       These kind of stories and reactions explain perfectly well why the republicans and conservative america as a whole is awfully afraid of the tea party and sites like the blaze, and last but not least, glenn beck.

      This lets them look like they are not able to hold back the looneys anymore. People associate you and the likes of you with the whole GOP and right in general and that hurts them alot. Dems will be in charge for quite some time from now on i think. There are just not enough extreme right wingers, you will see.
