A 17-year-old Scottish boy will return to class after he says school officials kicked him out for dressing like a girl.
Jamie Love told Scotland’s Daily Record school officials said he could come back after fellow students rallied on his behalf.
“This is great news. It is a major victory for me and all the other kids who are confused about their sexuality,” Love told the newspaper. “I’m delighted I can return to school and be myself. It means everything to me.”
Love, who prefers to go by the girl’s name Keirny, told the Record he was humiliated after he came to school in tights, shorts, hair extensions and make-up, only to be told to leave.
He said he‘d been talking to his teachers for months about how he felt trapped in a boy’s body and told them in advance that he would be coming to school dressed as a girl.
“When went into the class, everything was fine and then the teacher came and got me and then took me into the school and asked me what I was trying to do to the school. Then they said: ‘You shouldn’t be dressed like that,’” Love said in an interview with Scotland’s STV News. “Then two deputies came in and said my time at Govan High was over and then I got my stuff and had to leave. I asked if I could come back as a boy and they said no.”

Despite Love’s claims that it was his clothing that got him kicked out, the school insists his choice of dress wasn’t the problem — it was because he wasn’t committed to his education, according to the Record.
“We welcome Jamie’s assurances to commit to his education. We would encourage him and his family to come to the school to discuss arrangements for his return,” a school official told the newspaper. “Jamie’s choice of clothing has never been an issue … so he can come to school dressed as a girl if he wants to….However, it’s important that we put measures in place to accommodate this decision and the school would like to meet him and his mother.”
Love’s mother Alison supports him and was in tears when she told the Record how happy she was that he could go back to school: “That is wonderful news. You don’t know how much this means to us.”
Love admitted to having some behavioral problems and being disruptive in class, but said it was because of his confusion over his sexuality.
“This is a second chance for me and I won’t mess it up,” he said. “I am happy they have finally accepted me for who I am.”

Modern Scotland is a total disgrace. It’s extremely left-wing these days. It’s pretty much the headquarters of the openly socialist left-wing Labour Party in the UK (the British version of our Democrat Party).

They are looking to give Scotland independence from England. After living there for 16 years I got to know the people very well. My husband was born and raised in and around Edinburgh. They are a very repressed people and have been ever since England broke the spirits of the people.
There are those who are very left and just like here they are the noisy minority. You also have to look at the class of people. Most of the Scots are from mining families. They also live in a very socialist country and that socialism makes people very lazy. ((My husband is not one of the lazy ones). When the mines were closed the people had no skills so they all went on the dole. There are those who work very hard to support those on the dole. Just like here.

I know exactly what you mean. I am so sick of of hearing snivles from those who believe that the world (or at least the free world) owes them the tolerance to behave like the spoiled brats that they are.
In Afganistan, girls are being murdered for just going to school. And yet they risk their lives to go. In Eretria, and many other disastrous states of Africa, education is rightly treated as a rare and treasured opportunity to establish one’s future.
And then there is this utterly self-indulgent clown, doubtless supported by myopic, ignorant parents, who treat schools as a platform to grandstand about their “sexual identity”. Or, as noted recently by the Blaze, a ditzy 16 year old “atheist” that had a decades old prayer, written by previous students, removed from the wall because she was “offended”.
Someone needs the grab these young people by the hair and force them to watch videos of families willing to risk life and fortune to educate the next generation.
And someone should send this story to Eretria. They could use a good laugh.

Forgive me for not explaining because this has been answered over and over again. I cannot know whether you have been shown the answer and post that outdated example just to argue or what. But it really is tiring to keep seeing it. It would be beneficial, however, to familiarize yourself with the difference between Old Testament and New Testament. No doubt there is some type of predisposition there for feminity, but it is usually offset by a male parental figure, i.e. father, grandfather, etc. “Boys don’t act that way, do it like this.” and so on. I believe that when there is no testosterone driven male influence and a child who wants to fit into the “Herd” will fall back on what is and is not acceptable, given their “safe and comfortable home environments”. Strong willed mothers and neutured (sans testes) fathers will produce the same outcome. Do I believe that there is not a homosexual drive out there? Yes. Do I have a prob with it? No. Just don‘t grab my backside and tell me you can’t help yourself you were born this way.
The poor boy is definitly confused and will continue to be so until he gets on his own and find himself, in his own good time.

You don’t have to have long hair and wear a dress to be a girl so even if you are ‘gender’ confused, dressing in tights and putting in hair extensions is not going to make that confusion go away. I think this child needs some help and his mother is enabling the disruptive behavior of her son instead of getting him to understand why he has a need for attention. The political correctness of allowing boys who want to be girls (as well as the opposite) is getting out of control. I’m not saying there may be real issues but don’t feed into them when they are children – get counseling for the child to determine if it is a real issue or if mommy puts down men all the time that their son no longer wants to be a boy.
