Crowd at ‘One Nation’ Rally Quickly Abandoned Final Speakers

The “One Nation” rally was scheduled to run from 12-4pm ET.  But events like this tend to run long.  There were a number of speakers on the program after 4pm.  They did not have many people sticking around to listen.  At the end of the 8/28 rally there were some fantastic musical performances for the crowd to enjoy as they made their way off the mall. And it may have been the “One Nation” plan for their crowd to listen to these speakers as the exited.  But it certainly looked pathetic on television.  Gateway Pundit called it an “absolute fail“:

And Meredith noted on our Blog that one of the abandoned speakers seemed to call the crowd reaction “depressing”:

    I had heard that there were no buses left on the east cost available as they were all reserved for this rally. Looks like each attendee had their own bus :)

    If you watch the presentation in the video by those two leftists,you will notice that not once are their demands targeted to favor anyone in that crowd.I do not recall even once any reference made of Americans or the United States.The demands that they spoke of were to improve living conditions around the world and the mindless robots chanting “I Believe”,who thought the speakers were talking “about” them were actually talking “to” them.Someday these people who think they are poor will figure it out when their cell phones and I pods are no longer attainable.

    Dear God,
    Please help me stay humble for i feel i am about to laugh at the attempt of the left trying to out rally 8/28. And i know it’s wrong to make fun of those who tried and failed, but i find this too amusing to pass up. When the Green for all CEO try to stir the people up and the camera pan to the crowd, they were all just sitting there, all about 20 of them. Please forgive me….HAHAHAHA….HAHAHAHAHAHA….

    During the whole thing, all I really saw or heard were angry people shaking fists, complaining, and making demands but not offering any solutions… other than more government involvement, which we know by now doesn’t work. It’s no wonder people left early. I wouldn’t have wanted to stick around that complainfest.

    So, do the organizers of this LAME event get billed for all the cleanup? I would bet that if the mall after 8/28 looked as trashed as it is on 10/2, Glenn Beck would be charged! Those lousy commies should be made to pay for the cleanup!!!

      Anyone catch C-SPAN telecast of this rally? Al Sharpton gets up there and says that “We have bailouts for the banks. “We have bailouts for Wall Street. “We have bailouts for the government. “Isn’t it time for OUR bailout (as he motions with both hands to his chest).

      From Glenn’s recount of all the charges USPS made and extra contract arrangements they required, I think the 8/28 organization probably paid for cleanup in advance. Since the place was left spotless, that windfall undoubtedly was redistributed to clean up the 1PigSty event. Who wants to bet not half the requirements were placed on the 1PigSty organizers.

      Don’t put it past them. Was it Cass Sunstein or the Weather Underground that said people would have to be “re-educated”, and if they can’t be re-educated, they will have to be killed? I think it was the Weather Underground (Bill Ayers and Jeff Jones) that said tens of millions would have to be killed.

      The left must NEVER be allowed to have power again. If we don’t stop them, many of us WILL be KILLED.

      What makes me happy isn’t so much the numbers… it’s how much they have exposed themselves. This is the stuff that alienated moderate Obama supporters in the first place. If anything, this will drive even more of them away and towards a true moderate / conservative. A lot of the propaganda techniques were confirmed here, because they were performed by angry amateurs live on stage instead of being massaged through the media. People saw right through it.

      It confirms everything we’ve been saying from the beginning; hammer & sickle flags, red stars, Che Guevara booklets, massive Astro Turf unions, hateful signage and speeches, race baiting… I couldn’t have asked for more. We couldn’t have exposed them this much if we tried. Even if they did have more attendees than 8/28, it would only show estranged Obama supporters just how bad things are.

      All this rally did was raise the adrenaline levels of the far left. It didn’t address any of the things that caused Obama supporters to drop off. You’re right though, we just need to maintain our composure and not become arrogant. I know it’s hard after the media propaganda fest in the wake of 8/28, but we need to lead by example.

      I say we can celebrate a bit today, though. :)

      Excellent point on the gloating! Although, I admit to having smiled a bit ;) Let’s do the “gloating” with the ballot in 2010, 2012 and beyond.

      I had the privilege and pleasure of being one of the 600+ thousand AMERICANS attending the Restoring Honor rally on 8.28.210. This event was a joke by all stretch of the imagination but the machine is already working at changing history, even when it is there for all to see.

      The “Green For All” speech reminded me of the high school pep rally that only attended by three. Pathetic. Like another commenter here said, there was more excitement in the anticipation of the beer party in the parking lot, afterwards.

      I think what was needed here was a presidential EXECUTIVE ORDER to reply “I believe” after each question.

      Our local NBC station was touting O. N. as a big sucess …. they got an email from ME! Told them to show the trash and the REAL size of the “crowd” and for good measure the Commie and Socialist signs and organizations … waiting to hear back …waiting and waiting … WE got 2,000 local people on Sat. to stand on a street corner — it streached OVER A MILE and when they reported it (at least they did!) they had to add that the Dems were working at their headquarters. I am so sick of the Lamestream media!

      I believe they were embarrased by the lack of crowd response.
      I believe they are scared that this answer to Mr. Beck’s rally was pitiful.

      These poor attendees were duped. They were told it was a rally for jobs, education and justice. They waited in the hot sun for more than 20 minutes, and didn’t get any of those things handed to them, so they left.
