DA Refuses to Press Charges in Attack on Local FOX TV Crew

The Sacramento County district attorney is refusing to press charges against a man and a woman who attacked and beat a local Fox reporter and camerawoman earlier this year.

We first brought you the story in February, when many people watched in shock as reporter John Lobertini and photojournalist Rebecca Little were on the receiving end of an angry outburst at the scene of a murder. Little received the worst of the attack, as she was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head:

Fox 40, who employees the two victims, says the DA is brushing the attacks off as an outburst of grief. He says that actions of 57-year-old Chester Jackson III and Jacqueline Jackson (believed to be the father and sister of the murder victim) may actually be considered “measured and restrained.”

“His [Jackson's] actions do not rise to the level of a prosecutable case for assault or battery and certainly not attempted robbery,” the DA’s office said in a press release. “Some may find the actions of Mr. Jackson to be offensive and unacceptable. Others may describe them as measured and restrained in the context of having just lost a loved one to a senseless homicide 13 hours prior to this incident. The District Attorney must evaluate the case in its totality, as would a jury, to determine whether there is a reasonable likelihood that 12 jurors would unanimously convict Mr. Jackson of the above-described charges.”

The DA’s release trumpeted a similar message when it came to the sister: “Her conduct clearly falls outside the bounds of acceptable behavior, is highly offensive, and technically qualifies as a misdemeanor assault or battery. However, when viewed in the context of the emotions, anger, and frustrations that surely accompanied the very recent murder of her brother, a prosecution for misdemeanor assault or battery is not warranted.”

Visit our original story for more videos of the incident.

    Now there’s, a thought!

Fence in (a serious fence) California and let them have it. All fruits and nuts may go there to live, but cannot leave. Sorta gives a whole new twist to the eagles’ “Hotel California”, doesn’t it?
This time We The People man the border; the fedz have nothing to do with us, nor us with them, no more.

Focus on the issue, which is that white americans are now officially second class citizens throughout most metropolitan areas of the country. Not afforded the same protection under the law as people of color. While I agree the first two posts were uncalled for, consider that they may stem from the frustration of seeing injustice after injustice perpetrated against whites. In 50 short years we’ve went from discriminating against blacks to the same against whites. This decision not to at least try and prosecute, and many more like it being made every day by weak kneed PC spineless wonders only encourages more of the same. And what does it say if there is no chance of a conviction in the hood? Doesn’t that bother you? That says more about blacks than anyone on this site could ever say. Doesn‘t that in fact almost justify the words you’re whining about? This country was blessed to have a man like MLK bring justice to blacks through peaceful protest. You best pray that we are blessed again by someone who can turn this crap around, otherwise the way this all ends isn’t going to be pretty. Oh yeah, if you’re ever beat down in the hood, make sure you keep the same stupid blinders on…somehow I think you won’t.

But if the DA pressed charges against 10 Blacks against a “white Fox newscrew”. There would be matches in the streets. 15 plus years working in Law enforcement. This was a no brain for the DA. They also had taped video and audio tape. It would be a plea deal. The DA did nothing,on my belief that someone in the city office called a told them it is not worth it .

Of course the won’t press charges, someone gets beat let the criminals run free. Let someone read a Bible outside and the long arm of the law suddenly sweeps in for justice.
And California wonders why they are bankrupt?
As good a job as Californians are doing at running their State I am beginning to think they could outsource the government to illegals and get better results. You go from the Sewers to the Garbage can level. Go California!

There is no justice for white people. Look at the bullsh** that occured in that burger king, with the dude getting the crap beat out of him. NO ONE gave a rats ass until it came out that it was a heshe. Now it has to be defended, but not because it is white. No, they aren’t going after a hate crime because it was white, but because it is part of the lgbt community.

      WE HAVE RIGHTS TOO!

California is rapidly turning into a “third world” state. This is a perfect example. This is what they do in Mexico if you are not connected to the “right” people.

      from thew DA’s website…she is a victim’s rights lawyer:
From the beginning, Jan has been interested in serving victims. She established an office policy requiring notice to victims before a felony case is resolved. She has also served as the chair of the California District Attorney Association’s Victim Rights Committee…bs detector going off

WTH? Maybe someone should look into the President and his Goons inciting violence. Why?? They have actively engaged in encouraging people to hate anyone at FOX, and these people clearly only saw red when the reporters simply tried to ask them a few questions. I feel for the family losing someone so tragically, but acting like crazed thugs is unacceptable. I have seen many of these situtations, and the family is grief stricken, crying, emotional, but they want to get the story out. These people just acted like total thugs who assumed a FOX microphone equated them with Hannity or Beck.

The Department of Injustice (Obama Style). If this were his pet media station (MSNBC) you can sure as well bet that there would be people hanging in the streets. But seeing it is people who dare speak against the chosen on. Barakas Obamicus will not lift a finger.

It will probably save the state some much needed funds not to prosecute these people, because, after all, it DID occur in California, and, if charges were brought, the perps would probably be let off by another O.J. type jury, while the crowds clap and cheer, as they did when justice was denied when they set the murderer free.

Don’t mistake someone working at a local Fox news station as a conservative. While I would guess that there are more conservatives than any other station, the preponderance of broadcasters are liberal. And not not commenting on this particular case, If I had a family member that had been murdered I would go off on any reporter dumb enuff to stick a microphone in my face and ask me ” how do you feel about that?”

Does this DA understand that assult and battery is no longer a crime because the assailant just has to say “I was upset” and the police will just say “Oh, OK, I’m sorry to have bothered you, on your way now”? And to the victim, “How dare you strike an upset person’s foot with your head, now get away from here or you will be arrested for disorderly conduct” Sheesh, did I wake up in a Mad Magazine cartoon this morning?

Interesting juxtaposition to the previous story about he pastor being arrested in the same state, California, and he will probably be charged with some kind of a crime. Yet, in this case the DA refuses to press charges.

I’m waiting for California to break off and fall into the ocean.

Boy…. for a bunch of “non-racist” teabaggers, you certainly have no shortage of posts regarding peoples ethnicity. I would love to see the results of an honest personal inventory if the murder victim’s family was white or the film crew was from MSNBC. I’d bet my farm that you 93 percent of you would agree with the DA.

White americans are now second class citizens, not afforded equal protection under the law. Why is this crap become epidemic? Because they know they can get away with it! Tell me where to send money to support a disbarment campaign against this worthless POS DA. This has to STOP or things will eventually get violent in this country.
