Daily Beast Co-Founder: Glenn Beck Is ‘Some Sort of the White Malcolm X’

Tina Brown: “When you drill down to what he’s actually saying, he calls [Obama] a Nazi and socialist who’s taking over the country. I mean, his language is extremely inflammatory”

Thanks to Newsbuster’s Noel Sheppard for drilling down to this moment from CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on Sunday morning:

And Sheppard adds:

Notice how Kurtz laughed when Brown called Beck a hypocrite and a Tea Party hypocrite.

Not very professional, Howie.

As usual, when the demolibersocialcommies have been faced with their complete and utter stupidity by someone who can prove it, they back up and scream “you’re a racist, you’re a racist!” I don’t think even they believe themselves anymore. I am just so tired of hearing it..the whole country is tired of hearing it. LOL

You know I don’t even care anymore. They have thrown the word “racist” around so much for no reason, until now the word has no more negative meaning to it anymore; or at least not to me. It’s almost like the “little boy who cried wolf.” Once you see there is no racism in someone’s disagreements enough times, the next time the ******** raise the issue, it just doesn’t mean anything.

I’ve (we’ve) been called racists, pawns, Islamaphobes, Homophobes, etc. God knows my heart, I no longer care what they call me. They act like schoolyard bullies, it’s the best they can do.

Tina Brown, who’s that; better yet, who cares?

Didn’t Beck say that his comment about Obama was “infantile” in its understanding & he withdrew the comment?

Hasn’t Beck said often, almost as a mantra, “content of character not color of skin”?

Hasn’t Beck embraced, quite literally, many african-americans (can anyone see Malcolm X embracing a white person?), & has said on several occasions that even though he disagrees with Al Sharpton, he likes & respects him?

If this is what passes for analysis, no wonder there’s such anger & mistrust in this country, when Beck gives you his conclusions, right or wrong, he tells you how he arrived at them.

Where is the analysis in this clip, or in the MSM for the most part? Give me what the man said (in context) that leads you to these conclusions…as it is all they are is BASELESS ACCUSATIONS.

An interesting notion for readers. When I write critiques of Howard Kurtz at the Washington Post or at CNN, Kurtz personally deletes my articles, and I do mean personally; he clicks the delete button.

I personally contacted Kurtz a couple of times, challenged him to open public debate on a number of issues. He always refuses to debate me. Kurtz deletes my critiques of him, he refuses to debate me.

Readers are encouraged to research Howard Kurtz, research his conflicted relationship with the Washington Post and CNN. Take a look at his family relationship with both companies. Kurtz suffers a “forever” conflict of interest. Kurtz, an alleged news media critic, only critiques those who are not directly paying him nor his wife.

Kurtz is owned by the Washington Post and CNN, both well known extreme left liberal organizations. This game Kurtz plays is to keep his pockets and his wife’s pocket book lined with cash. Kurtz is a stereotypical morally bankrupt left liberal.

      Publiuspencilman,

Seems to me that Okpulot was pointing out that when he criticizes Kurtz, on the CNN site his posts are deleted. Attempts to contact the man have been rebuffed. It’s not about self-glorification, it’s about trying to establish some communication with a liberal news figure. There have been others who have also reported that their posts on various “progressive” blogs have been deleted also, which makes one wonder about the vaulted “open mind” concept.

Also find it interesting that there are a number of “progressives” who have posted on this site who have no hesitation to label Glenn, or anyone else, and many people collectively, yet whine when their vague accusations are not taken as gospel truths.

Appears that the Communists are down to their last “Hole Card”, As always it’s that tattered old worn out “Race Card” Everybody that isn’t on the COMRADE WAGON is a terrible RACIST!! Pretty much par for the course, but likening Glenn Beck to Malcom X is really beyond “Reaching” it is flat out “Flailing” by the LEFT.

To be perfectly honest here, I kinda of like old Glenn and certainly what he says is mostly right on the money, but he surely is not what I would call “EXTREME” in any sense of the word. In fact he is really just way too much on the “Milk Toast” side of the meter. MalcomX was one of the most EXTREME VIOLENT RACISTS that ever walked this earth. And it is a Blessing that one of his equally VIOLENT EXTREMIST Rivals saw fit to give him a dose of lead poisoning via Buckshot. Good Riddance.

MalcomX tried to raise and army of thugs and start his own war on AMERICA. Glenn Beck MIGHT be able to raise and army of somekind to PRAY us back to freedom, but that’s about it. What a joke this is.

Wrong on both accounts, Mauser. First, Glennie is an extremist, and a talented huckster. His opinions are not in the mainstream, or what in the past was the mainstream. He gets a lot of his ideas from W. Cleon Skousen, an ideologue for the John Birch Society. Glennie has convinced a whole bunch of you that he actually knows what he’s talking about, and that he’s honest and trustworthy. You’ll be thanking him profusely as he picks your pocket. Some of the posters on this site are spouting religious references! He isn’t a prophet or a Messiah. He is a very dangerous huckster.

Malcolm X was a polarizing figure because unlike Dr. King, he didn’t preach integratation and non-violence. He didn’t preach violence, but he did believe in self-defense and hitting back. He trained his young followers to intimidate people by marching in lock step, and standing silently in public, intimidation by their presence. It is a very effective tool, but it isn’t violence, and it’s a great way to avoid violence: test one of us, answer to all of us. Malcolm X believed that the Black community should be self-sufficient, and self-reliant. There is nothing wrong with that message, but it does differ from King’s message of appeasement and integration. And many Whites did find it intimidating. His change of heart, after his Haj got him killed by his own mentor. He realized how wrong and hateful he had been and when he reached out, he was killed for it, because he threatened the power structure of The Nation of Islam.

@DesertRose1960 If you want to debate then lets debate.

Wrong on both accounts, Mauser. First, Glennie is an extremist, and a talented huckster.

This is an Ad Hominem fallacy (An Ad Hominem is a general category of fallacies in which a claim or argument is rejected on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author of or the person presenting the claim or argument.)

This is also an Ad Hominem fallacy

Malcolm X was a polarizing figure because unlike Dr. King, he didn’t preach integratation and non-violence. He didn’t preach violence, but he did believe in self-defense and hitting back.

“I am for violence if non-violence means we continue postponing a solution to the American black man’s problem just to avoid violence. “
      Malcolm X

After the logic fallacies, I really see no argument here. Glenn had as many or more blacks on stage at the 8/28 rally as whites including MLK’s niece Dr. Alveda King. Glenn has stated on numerous occasions (as can be concurred with by those that have actually seen his show) that he does not support any religion but the right to worship God and has many times had black Ministers (Stephen Broden, Dr. Robert Michael Franklin of Morehouse College et al), Jewish Rabbis (Daniel Lapin) etc. For anyone that has listened to him over the years and have watched well over 100 episodes of his Fox show, he just doesn’t advocate hate.

If you say he does, then please post the direct quotes in context or show the video (not a 10 second clip out of context) to prove your point. There must be multiple examples of direct quotes or videos to persuade a reasonable person of your argument.

      Wow Desertrose,
      You are just scary wacko!
I’m pretty sure that if you get your history from original writings from the people that were actual participants of the historic event, and then you read the history written by progressive liberals, and they are not the same…. Ummmmm… Maybe you should go from the original source and start to question the integrity of the progressive liberals. Better yet, you should ask yourself what they are most likely to gain from rewriting history and facing the possibility of being exposed as liars.
      Question boldly and without fear.
Psst, all of us here know full well that Glenn earns a very nice living… It’s called “he has a large audience, sponsors and a fan base that makes it very worth the cost as high as it is to hire him to speak”. We all know this and support it. It’s called “Free Market” and “Capitalism’. I know that you have been told otherwise, but those are really good things. It is the reason that millions of Europeans packed up all that they had and left beloved family and friends and the only way of life that they knew to come here. It means that just like Glenn, I am free to make lots of money too! It means that you are free to become wealthy too, and if being wealthy just isn’t what you want, then you can give it to any charity or cause that you desire. If you prefer that the government does that for you, then give it to them. Just don’t expect the government to demand that we all do the same. That’s what we call socialism, it’s bad.

David Barton buys original documents so he can control access and edit what appears to his liking. He’s been caught at it more than once. Original documents aren’t all they are cracked up to be. Remember Beck recommending that everyone read Elizabeth Dilling? Who turned out to be a raving Nazi sympathizer, anti-Semite, and all around bigot. Do you suppose the Nazis admitted they were wrong in their diaries? Do you suppose that British politicians of the time had as much respect for George Washington and Thomas Jeffereson as they did for the English Generals they sent out to destroy the rebel army? Do you remember that France was our ally? I have a solid education in History. I‘ve forgotten more than Beck’s had a chance to learn.

This is it. I throw in the towel. You want to believe what this sideshow barker wants to sell, go ahead. But I sincerely hope you don’t get hurt or do anything that hurts other people. History is full of innocent by-standers who got turned into roadkill. A failed art student started out in beer halls and moved on to really big “Love Me” rallies, and that didn’t end well at all. And then there was that hateful man of the cloth with a radio show that preached hate until his church forced him off the air, but it took years. A mean drunk held up a blank piece of paper and claimed he had a list. Eventually, he was unmasked for the malicious fraud he was, too. But in-between, he ruined a lot of lives. And then there was that weird preacher who got a whole bunch of people to follow him into the jungle, where they were going to build a better world, where the evil powers couldn’t hurt them. Just don’t drink the purple stuff, I hear it’s poisoned.

      Desert…

I have no doubt you think what Beck says is a lie if you have a history degree. What he says about history is directly from source documents. You have been taught history by a liberal professor who has provided material that changes history to his own agenda. It is like the History teachers who only present that the Civil War was about slavery when it was not or that profess that Palestine has a historical right to the Holy Land and refuse to discuss the 3 Day War.

Still waiting for a documented example from you of his lies. If you have a History degree it should be easy. Otherwise case closed.

Maybe you can look up the reference to the quote, “It is better to remain silent and be THOUGHT the fool than to speak and remove all doubt.” In your case it is, “It is better not to type inane pointless posts on an internet forum and be thought the fool than to type and remove all doubt.”

But I do think The feds need to get out of my businees, out of my back pocket and should have as little to do with my life as possible. i should have the ability to do with my EARNINGS as I please. For instance, when the Redskins can not field a winning team for 10 years, I will not give them ANY money. No techirt sales, no ticket sales, and move out of the D of C and MD so my tax money does not go to traffic control or parking lots. If the gov’t insists on giving $ to those who don’t work and taking money from those who do, I don’t want them in my life. This is just common sense. Obama has none. Pelosi sems to take pleasure in taking from others. I can’t figure Reid out. So, if O’Donnell is a witch but will help control DC spending, I’m OK with that. If Pelosi claims to be a Catholic yet votes for abortion rights, that’s a hypocrite.

You sir need to spend some time being honest with yourself. Those with eyes will not see. Step from the darkness into the light, knock and the door shall be opened. You are clearly a blind fool.

DESERTROSE1960: …I had to respond here to this one comment that you made because I‘ve seen this bogus argument raised so many times by the left and it’s absurd ..and it’s a lie. ..You said: “He (Glenn Beck) told Forbes magazine he was in it for the money”. You fell for the slimey trick reporting that this Forbes journalist used to make you THINK that that is what Beck said. ..Beck in fact DID NOT say that he was only in it for the money. ….Here is the Forbes article quote: “With a deadpan, Beck insists that he is not political: “I could give a flying crap about the political process.” Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. “We’re an entertainment company,” Beck says. ………………Now, look carefully at that quote and that sentence. When I first read this in the Forbes article I was disappointed because it didn’t sound like Glenn Beck at all to me. Then I realized I was reading this all wrong and that I was attributing the whole quote to being Beck’s words..and IT’S NOT. Look at where the quote marks start and end. Beck DID NOT say “Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage” …That part is the Forbes writer’s words..not Becks and it’s a classic trick of the slimey media types who want you to think someone said something that they did not.. ..You put parts of a quote from someone at the beginning and at the end of a sentence and fill in the middle with your own words. It LOOKS like the quotee has said all of it and that‘s the way most readers’ eyes and minds will pick it up. It’s dishonest and we have to pay attention to what is really being said.

      *****FOR DESERTROSE*****

I cannot figure out how such a well read person could possibly not see what is going on. i was aware of Barack’s agenda before I ever heard of Glenn Beck. I Knew who Cass Sunstein and what he was all about. I warned everyone who would listen. Thanks to Glenn Beck the word is out in the public sphere, and I feel that he took it where I could not…over the airwaves. I thank him.
His life is always at risk, these days. Probably because of people that you know or dream about associating with. If the violence comes there will be more blood on your hands than on Glenn’s. Stick that progressive head back into the sand, now, Rose. If you listen real hard you‘ll be able to hear your champion’s second term sliding into the sea. I’d rather he be impeached and tried for sedition, but moving permanently to Saudi Arabia is nearly as good.

It is interesting that liberals never seem to realize (or actively try to ignore) that Beck used first person sources to document what he says and always gives his sources. He is not in the least racist and has probably done more than any public figure, inclusing Jackson and Rangel, to teach black history and the contributions of African Americans. Rather than condescending to African Americans. he tries to show them that they have as much to be proud of as anyone else and are just as capable. They don’t need the Democrats to hold them down and make them perpetual victims. He recognizes them as individuals instead of just a group.

Hasn’t he said, almost as a mantra, “content of character not color of skin”?

Hasn’t he, quite literally, embraced african-americans, quite a strange act by a racist?

Once again let’s belittle someone without any REAL analysis, when Beck does make statements (right or wrong) he explains how he arrived at his conclusions.

“Socialist” is a vaunted characterization that millions in Europe and all over the globe have followed for over 150 yrs.

Ms. Brown sees it as inflammatory? Wow, tell it to the political heirs of Francois Mitterand, Anthony Benn, Helmut Schmidt, Felipe Gonzalez, Gro Buntland, call the role.

It’s a characterization of a world view and the view itself. In American it is condemnatory because it represents a failed utopian descent into control and loss of liberty. It is the political philosophy of Mr. Barack Obama she should condemn and perhaps without realizing it, does.

The left is cringing as they approach Nov. 2nd. They have seen their future and it’s called repudiation.

In his early days, Malcolm X was hateful of Whites. His Haj made him different, but then he was murdered. He did preach an angry message for most of his public career. He was hateful, but he wasn’t “racist” in the true sense of the word, because he had no power, racism requires power, otherwise, it’s just racial hatred or race-based prejudice. But, that’s just what they teach in college, so it has to be evil Liberal bias. But, you’re also right, Malcolm X couldn’t hold a candle, even at his angriest and most hateful, to Glenn Beck.

I tried to go to as many lectures of racism as I could so I would better understand how it was viewed by blacks in academia. When I heard the “argument” that blacks can‘t be racist because they don’t have power I thought they were kidding me. As I probed them deeper, I realized that this was total rationalization. Racism is when you judge a person purely based on their race. I will gladly take MLK’s defintion as he truly lost his life trying to eliminate Racsism. MLK tyhought Malcolm X as dangerous to his peaceful meessage.

When you made the same argument for hwt is racism, I can ONLY conclude that you too are trying to justify your latent racism.

Is there anybody out there in Rosie-land that has noticed that Glenn uses the scoundrels’ own words against them. These elite, they have an idea of something, but can’t quite express it, and that’s the desert Rose, too. They can tell who they know and where they‘ve gone what they’ve seen, but ask them how it felt and they get cross-eyed. The Britisher on the video probably has no idea that she appears completely effete. Desertrosie told us that she gives to charity. Does she ever actually go personally to minister to the needy? I doubt it. She is an elite. She gives to charity,That way the poor folks grit soesn’t mess her nice clothes. She lives in a world of ideas. Aloof and sterile. She calls herself an activist, I am sure. but I would wager that rosie‘s hands don’t minister to anything but her keyboard. There is no way that any learned person could see the logical, well researched presentations on Glenn’s program and not understand.what is going on in this administration…..unless, she also is a Cloward&Piven marxist herself.
I know she must think I’m out to get her. I am. I want to get to the core of the disease. While the Jews were getting rounded up in eastern Europe in 1941-42, I’m sure she would have thought and thought about the situation, without the feelings it would have taken to stand up to the ‘Oh, so beautiful and powerful Einschactgruppen”. with their crisp uniforms and broad shoulders. Rosie you’re a traitor to your country, and all the students you’ve taught over the years. Sure you’ve got yours, and it seems you are rather comfortable and smug about it, too. I wasn’t going to post on this story until I went through and read all the posts…

I myself am a Glenn Beck fan. I came across he show some time ago and have not missed an episode since (TY Tivo!). With that said, a few things to keep in mind:

Glenn is an entertainer and has a highly rated TV show so, yes, he gets paid very well and deserves it. And yes, I am sure he went down the radio/TV path because of the money; most of us choose career paths based, at least in part, on potential earnings.

Glenn does present his own opinions and interpretations of historical and current events, and does recommend reading material that supports his view. At the same time, he constantly encourages viewers to not take his word for it, but to do their own research and draw their own conclusions. I personally do not agree with everything he says, nor do I accept his views at face value. I do my own research.

He also admits he is just a man, and an imperfect one at that. He acknowledges his less-than-desirable past. When he is wrong (not when those that disagree with him think so), he admits it.

A racist? I don’t think so. He has always advocated looking beyond skin color. As for the signs, look at the 8/28 rally for perspective. Tea Party rallies are not tied directly to Mr. Beck. I am sure a few offensive signs appear, but there are nut jobs in every large group, Left or Right. Tea Partiers actively discourage these people and shout them down at the rallies. Of course, one could argue that the policies he advocates are inherently racist which is much harder to prove. I would contend that the entitlement policies are racist, designed to keep people in poverty to maintain a power base for politicians (vote for me and I’ll give you more); so, in fact, the call for smaller Government and less entitlements is, to me, anti-racist.

One of the main arguments is that he is an extremist. Here is the thing. Politicians and people on the Left consider policies of the last few years as ‘mainstream;’ I contend that politics and policies have drifted away from the views of the average American. Sure, many of us vote but, if people are anything like me, they vote for the lesser of two evils since they are not given a real choice. So, Mr. Beck’s views may seem extreme when viewed from the far Left, but not when viewed from the perspective of the average American. I would contend that the President’s current policies, foreign and domestic, are extreme.

As for my wallet: it is safe – I have never sent Mr. Beck a dime. He does advocate for various charities, but I prefer small, local charities run by volunteers (I have issues with the large ones whose primary goal is self-perpetuation…large salaries, overhead and advertising budgets).

In a larger context, Mr. Beck does not embody the movement; he merely serves as a focal point. If he were to stop broadcasting tomorrow or somehow be discredited, the movement would live on.

      Just my opinion.

“He’s a hypocrit because he says “love” but he means hate. He keeps talking about “truth” while he looks in the camera and lies. The only mental illness here is his. Glenn Beck is a sociopath. He hates everyone, especially himself, and yet, he wants us all to do as he says, believe as he believes and like what he likes. … “Glenn Beck is a snakeoil salesman, he’s very good at figuring out just how to separate the rubes from their money. Sooner or later, the scales will fall from your eyes and you will see he’s run off with your wallet. You’ll understand better when you read the soon-to-be-released “The Roots of Obama’s Rage”. Couple this with his book “Dreams FROM My Father” & his father’s 1960 paper, then, maybe you’ll get it — i.e. just substitute Communist for snakeoil salesman. Want an example — him intentionally leaving out “endowed by the Creator” in his speech the other day &, then, his hypocrisy of finally going to Church for the 1st time today to cover any fallout. *Remember, for Communists, only government grants rights.

YOU had better hold on to your wallet beginning in 2011! The HC taxes begin to kick in & with the suspension of deepwater drilling in the Gulf, Obama giving 2 billion dollars to PetroBraz(sp.) for the deepest off-shore drilling ever done (14,000 ft., I believe — see it’s not about the enviroment, baby) & just recently 1 million to Mexico for a new drilling rig in the Gulf while our inactive rigs are being dismantled as we speak — oil, gas, manufacturing & distribution of goods is going to cost you/us a pretty penny more as we’ll have to import what we ourselves were producing. And G-forbid if Cap & Tax/Trade goes into effect; remember, Obama clearly said it will “cause oil prices to necessarily skyrocket.” It’s known as Redistribution of Wealth. ;)

And, I’m holding you to your word (”I’ll be one of the people that tries to talk the mob down.”) when the left is rioting in the streets because there just isn’t any money to be gotten from us already tapped out citizens (or can be printed) to fulfill their union/government promised pensions & to sustain their current salaries. It definitely won’t be the right that will be rioting!

What a maroon. Patriotism is now racist. No, she has never watched or listened to his show. I dont seem to remember the last time that Glenn called obama a Nazi (national socialist) but I will give her the socialist. Hey lady whoever you are… did you see the pic of the Christmas ornament with Mao’s picture on it, on obamas Christmas Tree???

Some people only hear what they want to. Obviously these two have not spent any meaningful time actually listening and researching for themselves. They are not journalists, but mere talking heads.

The truth is inflamatory to the left. I hope Beck stays above the target even though he is taking flack.

TexasGranny, they have NO minds, these idiots have no idea what it’s like to loose freedom, I do because I lost it, this is why my parents came to America and we came the right way, and proudly achieved citizenship the right way, Beck has it correct, believe me! I followed Obama‘s Campaign and it was a carbon copy of Fidel Castro’s campaign to the letter! brainwashing, indoctrination, propaganda…its a beautiful thing and it works…look at Cuba today. so Beck is correct, America must go back to its roots that the founders put in place or we are truly done! America please vote in November and stop the poison from killing us all.

      jimjonjr:
The liberal left is actually READING conservative news and comments? HOW REFRESHING. What is troubling is your idea that all we want to do is know your business, the gov’t business, our neighbor’s business. THE GOVERNMENT IS OUR BUSINESS (try reading the Constitution). This is typical of a bonafide leftist ignorant person who doesn’t have a clue what is going on around him/her. They like to point the finger, afraid that someone will take away their freebies that WE PAY FOR. As long as it isn’t you, huh? It‘s ok if Uncle Sam takes someone else’s money. Afterall, you have just about everything you want while on welfare, driving a new caddie, watching that 55″ TV, and getting food stamps. Yeah sure. And, we ARE coming after the politicians who think you deserve that when your butt should be out there working like the rest of us. IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY A BUSINESSMAN, OR A BUSINESS OWNER, your tune would be quite different. But what you’ve said has told me a LOT about who you really are. You, a liberal, probably smoke, drink every weekend, play poker, are in debt up to your eyeballs (wanting someone to forgive that debt at our expense), drive a brand new car you can’t afford, and oh, you are probably in a UNION, one of those big ones that Obama loves so much. Ya see, I was just like you UNTIL I DID OPEN MY MIND, LISTEN, AND ACTUALLY TRY TO PROVE GLENN BECK WRONG. I couldn’t. Yes, I really tried for about a year. Then, it finally sunk in what we were all doing to our grandchildren and my kids. It sunk in so hard and fast, I cried and cried and cried. HOW, YOU MIGHT ASK? Well, I do believe in God anyways, so I went to Him and asked him to show me what He wanted me to see. I got on my knees and asked for God’s forgiveness, for falling asleep at the wheel of integrity, honor, and responsibility. I begged forgiveness for NOT putting my neighbor first. I then got myself back to church and all this in just a little less than 1.5 years ago. HE SO OPENED MY EYES. EVERYTHING BECAME CLEAR. ODD THINGS BEGAN TO HAPPEN AT WORK. STRANGE INSTANCES HAPPENED THAT LED ME TO MEET CONSERVATIVES WHO WERE NOT AFRAID TO TALK TO ME. We had open discussions on this administration. I didn’t agree at first, but they held me to the fire, so to speak and CHALLENGED ME and showed me so many FACTS AND FIGURES, I was so stunned and in disbelief!!!

So, don’t spout your rhetoric on those of us WHO HAVE HEARD AND FINALLY SEE THE TRUTH. THAT TRUTH SET ME FREE and I feel very sorry for you because YOU WILL MISS THE VERY BEST BLESSINGS OF ALL: fellowship with the Almighty; fellowship with honorable people with morals, and real relationships – REAL RELATIONSHIPS that aren’t based on immorality, excuses, and dishonor. I WOULD NEVER EVER TRADE PLACES WITH YOU in A MILLION YEARS. IT REALLY SUCKS TO BE A LIBERAL. I KNOW. I WAS ONE. Thank you Glenn Beck. Thank you conservatives for NOT giving up on me and others like me. And, last, thank you God for making me know that I am worth more than an abortion AND that I can be MORE THAN I WAS.

YES, IT SUCKS TO BE YOU.

Saying that Glenn Beck is equal to a white Malcom X is like saying Barack Obama is equal to a black Mother Teresa. Neither comparison is a good one and both reveal the truth that “ racism” is alive and well in the USA. Martin Luther King Jr.’s quote that we should “ judge a person by his or her character instead of by the color of his or her skin ”, comes to mind. I had much rather judge Barack Obama by the color of his skin than by the content of his character. The color of one’s skin is inherited from his or her parents but character is acquired from those you are associated with and Barack Obamas associates leave much to be desired when it comes to character. Character is color blind.

Of course these people actually listen to Glenn Beck! Just like most of the reasonable intellectuals in our Nation they get all the clips they need from ‘The Colbert Report’ or ‘The Daily Show’ (which airs weekly). It makes perfect sense to take political advice from two literal comedians. I mean after all, I take banking advice from Dane Cook…

Neither one of these two opinions are worth really allot. Don’t see what they are doing that is all that great for mankind except putting their politics out there as being the all important and everyone else is either crazy or a racist. They just don’t seem to be listening to everyone, just those who agree with them. Is this not a form of racism as well???
