Daily Beast Writer Claims Some GOP Hopefuls Are Part of a Racist, ‘White Supremacist Stampede’?

Buckle up for this one. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
Newsweek reporter and Daily Beast writer Eve Conant claims in a recent piece that there is a ‘stampede’ of racist, neo-Nazi loving GOP politicians running for office in the coming electoral cycle — and she ties it directly to the Tea Party.
Paraphrasing will not suffice; here is Ms. Conant, in her own words:
“Former (and current) Neo Nazis, Ku Klux Klan members, neo-Confederates, and other representatives of the many wings of the “white nationalist” movement are starting to file paperwork and print campaign literature for offices large and small, pointing to rising unemployment, four years with an African-American president, and rampant illegal immigration as part of a growing mound of evidence that white people need to take a stand.”
With her thesis in place, Conant cites this example to make the reader believe a white power movement is ascendant:
In May, the National Socialist Movement’s Jeff Hall hit national headlines in a bizarre tragedy: his murder, allegedly at the hands of his 10-year-old son. But before his death, he had campaigned for a low-level water board position in Riverside, California. The swastika-wearing plumber who patrolled the U.S. border paramilitary-style walked away with almost 30 percent of his community’s vote.
Conant concedes that the position of water board member (not even the head or chairman of the board, mind you) in Riverside is ‘low-level.’ But more importantly, it seems worth asking the question: does anyone in Riverside know who runs in the water board election? Anything about those candidates at all? Is it just a list of random names nobody cares about– on the off chance they show up for the local election anyway?
As for other evidence that white power movements are surging towards elected office, The Wall Street Journal astutely asks in “The Running of the Bull” this question: “In a country of 300 million, what does the Daily Beast call nine state legislative candidates, eight of whom lose? A stampede!”
Conant also ensures that the casual reader ties the Tea Party to the white power ‘stampede’ with a quote from Don Black, founder of the largest white supremacist website in the US– Stormfront:
“Many of our people are involved in the Tea Party,” says Black.
“But much of their leadership is skittish when it comes to talking about racial realities. The Tea Party is a healthy movement but many are too conditioned to run like scared rabbits when called racists.”
Perhaps we should ask the Daily Beast what to make of this: The American Communist Party has endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2012.

Posted on July 8, 2011 at 1:55pmI think before the left throws ANYBODY under the bus by using threats like racism, they need to address people like Farrakhan, McKinney and others who throw other members of their own party to the wolves. Just leave us alone while you all feed on and off each other’s hatred. We know how to love, forgive, and get past the bad times. People on the left have taken up residence there and want to remind us they have with every opportunity that comes there way. If we all get together and get them some really nice passports, visas, and plane tickets and promise the TSA won’t pat them down, do you think they’ll leave???? It really is time for folks like this to go – We have got to deliniate between freedom of speech and treasonous propoganda.

Posted on July 8, 2011 at 1:55pmI believe there may be a racist or two in the democratic party. I seem to remember a congressman..or was it a senator who had been a member – no, a high ranking executive – in the Klan. I guess we need an article about that in the Beast, no? I’m seeing that the only racists are the ones who always cry racism. Nice tactic, but it won’t work. But, to all of you minority folks out there, it is hurting your rights when you have a legitimate instance of racism. It’s like crying wolf. If everyone is a racist now, who will come to your aid when it really is racism? No one will believe it. The left is solely responsible for desensitizing us to racism. And this is the party for minorities to support???? Why, in God’s name would any black or hispanic or jew be a democrat? Go back to your Civil War history and see who your enemies really are. They are the same people who you have been electing for decades. Stop them, and you will see a huge difference in how minorities are treated in America. The democrats, the left, the communists, whatever you call them, are known throughout history for enslaving people. You want to see slavery return? Keep voting democrat.

Posted on July 8, 2011 at 1:46pmOf course the TEA Party is tied to National Socialists. I mean, they have sooooooo much in common:
“We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living. The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within its confines and be for the good of all. Therefore, we demand:… an end to the power of the financial interests. We demand profit sharing in big business. We demand a broad extension of care for the aged… In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our entire system of public education… We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents… The government must undertake the improvement of public health—by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor… by the greatest possible support for all clubs concerned with the physical education of youth. We combat the… materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of the common good before the individual good.”

Sounds just like the TEA Party, doesn’t it? (Yes, this is sarcasm.)

The same thing about the communist, marxist, socialist etc etc agenda is small. Do people not remember that we have fought wars and blood has been spilled against these ideologies? But my answer is this as one of those crazy people according to the libs that believe in God. As in all this has to take place for it is God’s plan. Everything will get bigger get worse and be as never having been seen before since history started getting written down. More Casey Anthony stuff etc more/bigger earthquakes etc, bigger riots. Why debate and argue with these monsters of the radical left? Instead be silent and respond in this manner: You have solid indisputable unbiased proof of this on a wide scale not some isolated group (in other words trying to tie KKK to the TEA Party)?
The response to such a challenge will be silence b/c they cannot prove it. In effect you are proving they are flat out liars. Sadly no one will engage the left in this manner to call their bluff. No instead there will be lengthy articles, tv debates etc which is what they want to spew their drivel! Wake up America you must stop playing this game of the left. SavingtheRepublic.com

Establishment Elites. They want their “Big Govn’t” And yes, if they cave, the Tea Party will go third party & then Obama wins…..don’t know. This is his theory & usually he’s right but I hope not this time. Most would take anyone other than Obama & so maybe they wouldn’t go Third Party. But the big thing is…..whether the Repub. party go the way of the Tea Partiers or the old Establishment. This is critical time — please contact, do whatever you can to convince them. The Repub. Remember, they are violent, not us. If you want to know the NEWEST tactic of those who are on the far left and are angry with Obama….grasp on to this one:

Posted on July 8, 2011 at 2:03pmOf course the KKK was started by Democrats. It was southern democrats that held the majority of slaves. It was a democrat that instituted segregation laws (Woodrow Wilson) and it was democrats that fervently opposed any Civil rights legislation. The Republican party was the anti-slave party and the party that wrote and supported civil rights bills. In the end, Lyndon Johson (a democrat) signed the civil rights bill into law and is credited as a civil rights leader. But was he? No! The bill was written by Eisenhower and was not supported by LBJ at the time. In fact LBJ voted against all civil rights legislation, even those that banned lynching. Prior to President Johnson, blacks typically voted for Republicans. LBJ wanted to end that and thus began his “Great Society” crusade not with any intentions of alleviating the plight of black americans, but by using social welfare programs to create a dependency that he said would, “have them (insert N-word here) voting democrat for 200 years.” Unfortunately, it worked as he wanted it to. There is absolutely no logical reason a black person should vote democrat if not for the dependency the democrats have created for them. Democrats have always been a destructive force in this country yet they claim it is the Republicans that are racists and biggots.
