Daily Mail Uncovers Paul Ryan’s Black Ex-Girlfriend

Many on the Left have described the Romney-Ryan ticket as essentially a cynical team, prepared to exploit any and all racial tension to achieve election to the highest office in the land.
They apparently know next to nothing about the history of at least half of that ticket.
Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan, whose speech to the Republican National Convention recently electrified the country, and whose budget plan for entitlements can send otherwise sensible liberals into fits of rage, actually has quite a personal history with racism — not against Ryan himself, but against someone he was very close to. You see, while he was in college at Miami University in Ohio, Ryan had a romantic relationship with one of the star cheerleaders for Miami University’s Redhawks team – a driven, fitness-obsessed young woman (not unlike him) named Deneeta Pope.

As you can probably tell from the picture, Ms. Pope herself was African-American. And to hear Ryan tell it, this prompted some ugly comments from people he thought of as his “friends.”

“I just experienced some ugly comments, some racist views from people who I thought were friends of mine,” Ryan told Milwaukee Magazine.

The relationship between the two lasted five years and eventually died when Ryan moved to Washington, DC. Ms. Pope, now a registered Democrat in her 40s, is now married to Michael Thompson, an IT specialist and President of a court reporter company. She has apparently endured a more turbulent love life than Ryan himself, according to the Daily Mail:
While Ryan went on to marry his Janna, Pope’s love-life has been less settled.
She married Mark Niedzielski in 2004 but the couple split after four years. Niedzielski, told MailOnline: ‘She’s a great person, really nice, our marriage broke up because we just grew apart.’

Pope married her second husband Michael Thompson, 44, three months ago. He is an IT specialist and is president of Thompson Court Reporters, a Chicago-based firm that supplies online legal information nationwide.
The newlyweds live in the Lincoln Park home that Pope bought and is situated on a leafy street in the affluent suburb.
A neighbour who asked not to be named, said, “They’re a pleasant couple and this is a great neighbourhood. Whenever I seen them, they look happy.”
Today, Pope is a realtor for @Properties in Chicago and also has her own property portfolio. Two years ago, she bought a $1.05 million four-bedroom 4.5-bath condominium in the Lincoln Park area of the city.
Thompson declined to discuss his wife’s previous relationship with Ryan. ‘She really does not want to talk about any of this,’ Thompson told MailOnline.
No doubt, uncharitable readers will see this as evidence that something ugly happened in the relationship. However, Ms. Pope apparently harbors no ill-will towards Ryan. The Daily Mail’s story suggests that she has actively shown an interest in reconnecting with him as a friend, since his political career began to take off.
Sadly, no pictures survive of Deneeta Pope and Paul Ryan together.

Thankfully he’s getting better with it (not that it matters to me). The thing is white guys with black girls isn’t pushed nearly as much. At least, it’s just now (last 3-5 years) is being seen more on TV and movies (WG with BG). I’ve only gotten weird looks when going out, nothing outlandish . . . yet.

As long I’m not forced to pay for those programs then that’s fine. It’s morally wrong to steal from the rich to give to the poor, just as much as it’s wrong to steal from the poor to give to the rich. If we had a lot less government and the private sector was huge we would have a lot less poor people and more jobs.

Although this story is just a minor example of what I call ‘unnecessary reporting’, it still poses potential danger to the victim…yes victim. That being the lady whose name is being printed and aired, presumably without her permission (according to her husband’s statement). Days earlier we read that Mr. Ryan dated an Afro-American while in college. That was all we needed to know. Yet even if others feel that more should be known, there is no need for us to know this woman’s name. Releasing her name to the public could put her in danger, subject her to embarrassment and/or simply cause her unwanted publicity for whatever reason may apply to her.
This happens with story after story after story. I would argue that names should not be given to us unless permission has been granted or someone has been convicted of a crime. There may be other legitimate reasons, such as maybe a blanket allowance of names of celebrities and politicians, but I do think guidelines should be determined for those of us who are simply trying to mind our own business. Let’s all be honest. We The People have no need to know names.

When I look at what happens here, I realize that if you actually read the articles, and believe them, you come away stoopider than you were before. Avenperp is a perfect example. Having gotten his education here rather than a formal educational setting, he believes that all of the 1 billion Muslims in the world want to harm you and that members of minority groups in the US are violent and inferior.
If you’re going to read the articles, my advice to you is to be skeptical and ask yourself: what irrational bias of yours is this article appealing to?

He said actually no, never not once, but we get harassed by blacks constantly. There isnt a week that goes by that we don’t get a sneer or nasty look. He said yelling racial stuff, what you doin with that white boy girl etc., and that every time they go through a drive thru they cringe if they see a black working the window because they almost always say something or give them a dirty look.
Seems blacks are far more racist in general than whites. What do we expect when we have a president that belonged to a hate whitey church and who honored ‘poets’ that have openly stated they’re against interracial dating and marriage. One of them even going as far to say, “it makes her want to puke when she sees a black woman with a white guy”. Double standard in this country is glaring.

No one actually remembers BO (or BS at the time) attending any classes at Columbia. Even libs like George Stephanopoulos don’t remember the guy, and he graduated from Columbia at approximately the same time. The only account I’ve ever read about someone confirming BO/BS’s attendance at Columbia is that BO/BS would often attend some pick-up basketball games at the school. Heck, anyone off the street could join in on those pick-up games. There is no proof whatsoever (witnesses/transcripts/anything in writing) that BO/BS ever attended classes at Columbia.
If someone thinks I am wrong, then prove it………otherwise, you can just SITDOWNANDSHUTUP
