Report Post »They don’t teach this in public school but many blacks were involved and assisted in the war of independence leading up to the revolution. Prior to the revolutionary war, (wealthy) black Africans and (wealthy) blacks from the Carribean made homesteads in America.
They also employed BLACK slaves.
Remember Mr. Panther that slaves could not have been rounded up on the Ivory Coast without the help of BLACK men to pluck them out of the jungles and place them on slave ships….for a nominal fee.
Celebrating July 4th therefore would be justfied.
But if the panthers do not wish too because it is considered a ‘picnic’ (despised word in Holder’s corrupt D.O.J) then we will celebrate without you next year.

Instead, its much easier to quip of a quick line to another quick quip from somebody else. No need to expend any of your own energy researching anything, newp, Beck and Barton have done all that for you. Yeah, sure.
What that newspaper contains; former Confederate Generals and the leaders of the Black organizations in 1875 – making speeches with each other (Ironicly on the 4th of July – hence me bringing this up in this article/topic). The Keynote speaker, requested by the Blacks of Memphis in public request, also recorded in an earlier “Memphis Daily Appeal”, was Nathan Bedford Forrest.
The former Confederate speakers were IN the parade with the various black organizations on the way to the “Grand Park”, where they shared the stage speaking with the leaders of the various black organizations of the time. Care to guess what the name of the “Park” is now?
Thier speeches are rather good for 19th Century rhetoric, and none different in sentiment than that of C.L. Bryant last saturday. Read them for yourselves, I doubt anyone in the “mainstream” anything will ever mention them.

I don’t think someone like James Armistead, or Fredrick Douglas, or James Rainey……the list is actually quite long…. would agree. The problem all goes back to one thing….ignorance. Either they were never taught properly…a testament to our wonderful education system…..or they just don’t care to know the truth. He clearly has no knowledge of the HISTORY of blacks proudly fighting along side others. He also does not know that civil rights only became problematic during times of democratic control……please look this up. Wallbuilders has incredible information on this. Look up the laws passed from 1860 till about 1876….around 20 or so for equal rights. Then look up from 1876 for the next roughly 20 years….democratic control begot the repeal of most of those laws….please look it up!
