Russian daredevil Valery Rozov braved blistering cold temperatures to stand a towering 3000 meters above sea level before taking a plunge down Antarctica‘s Wolf’s Peak.
With an expedition of climbers from Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey, ITN reports that Rozov hiked to the top and took a moment to enjoy the lofty view before donning a wingsuit and jumping.
Fortunately, after about 45 seconds in the air, Rozov pulled his parachute ripcord and floated to a safe landing at the mountain’s base.

Posted on December 13, 2010 at 1:03amAfter the New River Gorge bridge in West Virginia opened, a man who’s wife had kicked him out of the house with only his dog decided to jump. With the dog in his arms he lept to his death.
Report Post »Medical experts were curious as to the actual cause of death, some theorized he could have died from a heart atack before impact. Others suggested that he may have somehow survived the fall only to drown in the river below. An autopsy was performed and the cause of death was surprised everyone.
The victim bled to death before impact due to dog bites.

Just kidding.
I don’t see a lot of black people doing this type of “I don’t really value my life, so I get a thrill when risking it” type of behavior.

Posted on December 11, 2010 at 8:31amJust remember, its not the fall that will kill you….its that sudden stop at the end……..I believe the technical term is “de-acceleration trauma”.

Posted on December 12, 2010 at 9:40pmIt is not de-acceleration trauma, since the jumper has reached a constant terminal velocity well before he hits the ground. Just call hit sudden violent acceleration trauma, since his speed changes from arouund120 MPH to about zero in a nano-second.
