Posted on November 4, 2010 at 12:44pmI for one can’t believe this old geezer sack of &&&& is still on television. He, Conan The Momo and Leno all suck and I find Leno‘s ’trying to be hip‘ with all the profanity and low end fart like humor so childlike I won’t even watch his monologues.
The LATE NIGHT TV ‘franchise’ is a dead horse and has been since Carson’s passing. Not to mention SNL which has been similarly dead aside from the college and high school crowd since Chris Farley died…..these shows were perhaps a bit relevant before cable tv‘s widespread usage but frankly I don’t even know a single adult that even watches them any more.
I especially hate TINA FEY who’s entire persona and career she owes to her relentless childlike mocking of Sarah Palin.
The last time I watched Letterman was at my apartment at the University of Virginia in 1987 smoking dope with my dope fiend roommates. OVER 20 YEARS AGO!!

Posted on November 4, 2010 at 9:34pmIn the few years before Carson left, Leno was a frequent guest on Carson’s Tonight Show and Letterman was on only a few times. So, Carson pushed Leno’s career and, at the time, everyone thought Letterman’s carreer was dead when Leno got the coveted spot.
They BOTH should have quit years ago while at the top of their games. Personally can’t stand either one although Leno is slightly less offensive I guess. Just sayin’……

Report Post »Your post is dead on. “Comedy is someone else’s pain” Letterman is horrid with his mocking of Sarah’s children.Ditto for that moonbat TinaOYFey. They both have children.Wonder how they would react to such public “comedic crap”? OH WAIT,geeze I forgot…Libbie/Progressive Kids ARE perfect….So that means it would be perfectly cool to hang David Letterman’s mom in effigy and call it “ART” Bet ol’ Dave would be laughing at that. Or TinaFey’s kid with a ________ (fill in the blank) It saddens me because like you SNL use to be FUNNY Coneheads “I’m from Remulak” or Steve Martin hosting and cracking all of us up, MR BILL My favorite!!!! and he was made out of silly putty, Johnny Carson was the last true late night comedy HERO. Letterman is looking old and needs to retire and raise his son. Fey needs to GET A LIFE and be a MOM. She is the epitome of a wasted life. And since I’m ranting here, let’s include Alec Baldwin…..that poor daughter!!! Does NBC/GE reward all their employees with “Worst Parent of the Year Award”?

Posted on November 4, 2010 at 11:53amI didn’t watch MSNBC but from all the comments about them I have to ask myself – why would the execs allow this to continue? You can be professional and still keep to your agenda (biased or otherwise) so why be unprofessional and biased at the same time??? Doesn’t make any sense to me!! Will Comcast make any improvements?
Report Post »toodygoodshoes
Posted on November 4, 2010 at 4:45pmI’m only guessing, but perhaps they knew they were all going to get pink slips after Comcast takes over, so why the heck not be as offensive as possible.

Posted on November 4, 2010 at 11:29amI didn’t think this was funny and quite frankly, I don’t like Letterman at all. The funniest part was the immature behavior of the pundits on MSNBC. Fox, which was the most fair and balanced and CNN which I thought had too many pundits, had views from the left and right while MSNBC didn’t even pretend to be balanced – all were left wing hacks. Their snickering and mocking was the behavior of 5 year olds (and I think I’m not being fair to 5 year olds with that statement).
