Debbie Wasserman Schultz Says She Doesn’t Know the Political Affiliation of Pro-Obama Super PAC

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said she has “no idea the political affiliation” of the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA — even thought it was started by two former Obama aides and has received fundraising support from administration officials.
The Florida congresswoman appeared on “Fox News Sunday” and was asked about the super PAC’s now-famous “cancer” ad that implies Mitt Romney was responsible for the death of a former steelworker’s wife.
“First of all, that’s a Priorities USA ad. It is not a Democratic ad. It’s a Priorities USA super PAC,” Wasserman Schultz said. “I have no idea the political affiliation of folks who are associated with that super PAC. … that is not affiliated with our campaign or with the party.”
Still, Wasserman Schultz went on to defend the ad’s substance, saying it “raises facts such as that Mitt Romney when he was CEO of Bain Capital bankrupted companies, laid off workers, cut their benefits and made millions of dollars in profit.”
“That ad points out that there are consequences to making decisions like that that impacted people’s lives in a significant way,” she said.
Former steelworker Joe Soptic says in the spot, released last week, that he lost his health insurance after he was laid off by Bain Capital and couldn‘t pay for his wife’s cancer treatment. It subsequently emerged that Soptic’s wife died five years after he lost his job, and that she had had her own insurance.
Following her Fox News appearance, Wasserman Schultz took to Twitter to clarify her remarks, tweeting: “Clearly Priorities USA is a Democratic SuperPAC. Was trying to state the obvious: we have no control over their activities.”

Hey stupid venture capitalist/private equity firms do not go in to purposely bankrupt companies and lay off workers unless absolute necessary. Generally, they go in when a company is on their last leg and would be closing anyway. That would be a “corporate raider”, which is entirely different.
I swear Democrats have no business sense; they should be forbidden by law by handling money and owning businesses. Lets pull an Atlas Shrugged on them.
