Researchers from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in Spain studying deer antlers they think they may have found clues as to what causes osteoporosis.
The research, as part of the Research Institute of Hunting Resources, suggests a lack of calcium — which is often blamed with causing osteoporosis — may not actually be the root cause. Going one step further, scientists looked at manganese, an essential element for calcium absorption in bones.
The findings, published in Frontiers of Bioscience journal, have yet to be confirmed by peer review and more research is needed, but the researchers state in a press release that it’s a “step in a totally new direction in osteoporosis research as it considers calcium loss to be a consequence of the disease and not the origin.”
The idea sparking the research was a dramatic increase in antler breakage in Spain in 2005. What the scientists found when they analyzed the antlers was that the weakening was due to reduced manganese levels caused by a cold winter that resulted in lower manganese concentrations in plants.
Tomás Landete, sub-director of the IREC and one of team’s researchers, said, “The lack of manganese was almost as if the ‘glue’ that sticks calcium to antlers bones was missing.”
In addition, the research team has also suggests that depletion of manganese could be linked to Parkinson‘s disease and Alzheimer’s. The team reached this conclusion by evaluating patients being operated on with osteoporosis and found 40 percent had “some form of cerebral dysfunction.” They also note a link between manganese and Parkinson’s disease in that the cells supporting neurons require the element. The researchers state that this does not mean they have found “a final solution to such diseases” but simply another road to follow.
The researchers are moving forward to confirm these findings in human bones and also await peer review.

Posted on January 4, 2012 at 9:17amMeanwhile, here in the US and around the world, municipalities are still pumping the waste products of aluminum production into our drinking water. In case you aren’t aware, most municipal water providers lace their tap with sodium fluoride. And if you didn’t know that, then you are surely unaware that fluoride is only known to prevent tooth decay when it is in direct contact with teeth. So while having fluorinated toothpaste may be a good deal, having it placed in water that you drink doesn’t make any sense.
It also makes less sense when you come to know that the Nazis used to put sodium fluoride in the water at their concentration camps. An American chemist at the time who inspected the facilities released the statement that the Nazis were medicating the masses to be more docile and easily controllable. Nowhere did he mention that they did it for the tooth health of the people in these death camps.
And finally, why fluoride is relevant to this story. Has anyone ever heard of fluorosis? Well, according to the medical dictionary it is a condition that people get when they are exposed to long term or high dosages of fluorine. Such as is the case when you bathe and drink fluoridated water. The results are mottled or discolored teeth and osteofluorosis. If you couldn’t guess, osteofluorosis has the same or nearly the same effects as osteoporosis. Weakening of the bones, brittleness, and an apparent lack of calcium in bone structures.
Also, why is baby water fluor

Posted on January 4, 2012 at 10:02amYes I have heard of it.Thank you for reminding me of the nazi connection. They didn’t die they simply went underground and tied up with there counterparts [you know who].If you check you will see the nazis and hitler changed tactics when the islamic cabel joined there ranks. He went from deportation to death camps.Add in all the other lovely atrocities/sarcastic and we can plainly see why all types of poisons have been added to water food and just about everything else.
Report Post »What do the nazis muslims medicine and the occupiers all have in common? We are the producers they want to steal from then kill.Furthermore they are psycopaths who think they have that right.

Posted on January 4, 2012 at 8:14pmHey, its a win-win situation, industry gets paid for its toxic waste and politicians spend our money on the stuff. It’s so good for you, toothpaste companies tell you not to swallow toothpaste, but rinse and spit. There were rumblings in NYC about stopping fluoridation because of the budget crunch – don’t know the result.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 11:28pmGoing to do a search now on foods high in manganese. Already they have found a link between herpes simplex and Alzheimer’s too. They’ve also cured rats that are genetically prone to diabetes by injections of capsicain (red pepper) directly in the pancreous. I’m convinced they already know how to cure cancer too. None of this info will get released since they want population control. Do your research. All of this info is there so the genie is already out of the bottle. By the way, if you are 65 years old or older, ask your doctor for a prescription of lenalidomide (only need very small dose which is cool since ther won’t be any side effects) . It will boost your immunity to that of an 18 year old (don’t do this if you do have an auto-immune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis of course). :)

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 11:08pmWhat! There may be a natural way to cure a disease. That means there will be no need for the millions of dollars of wasted research money to find synthetic drugs with hundreds of side effects. Big drug companies will make their call to the FDA and have this research go nowhere.
