‘Defending Liberty’: Defiant Clarence Thomas Slams Critics for ‘Undermining’ High Court

Politico reports:
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – his impartiality under attack from liberals because of his attendance at a meeting of conservative donors sponsored by the Koch brothers and his wife’s tea party activism – struck a defiant tone in a Saturday night speech in Charlottesville, Va., telling a friendly audience that he and his wife “believe in the same things” and “are focused on defending liberty.”
Delivering the keynote speech at an annual symposium for conservative law students, Thomas spoke in vague, but ominous, terms about the direction of the country and urged his listeners to “redouble your efforts to learn about our country so that you’re in a position to defend it.”
He also lashed out at his critics, without naming them, asserting they “seem bent on undermining” the High Court as an institution. Such criticism, Thomas warned, could erode the ability of American citizens to fend off threats to their way of life.
“You all are going to be, unfortunately, the recipients of the fallout from that – that there’s going to be a day when you need these institutions to be credible and to be fully functioning to protect your liberties,” he said, according to a partial recording of the speech provided to POLITICO by someone who was at the meeting.

Posted on February 27, 2011 at 6:05pmIn case after case disputing the validty of Barack Obama’s contitutional right to hold office due to the question of his citizenship the courts have found some minor or technical excuse to claim lack of standing. Recently one more distinguished veteran of the armed services was not allowed discovery in his attempt to prove that his commander in chief was unfit for that role, and as a result Colonel Terry Lakin will face a court martial. Why? Because the judge at the trial stated that any embarrassment to the President should not be made public under the jurisdiction of her military court.
A district court judge in Santa Anna California, a former Marine, who was determined to hold trial on the question of Obama’s eligibility despite desperate arguments by two US attorneys who were turned away by the court failed to follow through. Why? Intimidation? Corruption? Both probably. That happened in the beginning of this year.
Once again a competent and knowledgeable attorney representing his clients will face the Supreme Court justices, who have continued to cowardly deny each case questioning the constitutional eligibility of our president to be objectively considered and legally determined. It is interesting to note that our court system, particularly the Supreme Court, was designed to be politically immuned to the influences of Congress and the office of the presidency. The job of the Supreme Court was to interpret law according to the Constitution of the United States of America, unhindered by the designs of political parties that would use law to create inequalities in policy and to uphold knowingly the unlawful appointment of leaders unfit to hold office such as Barack Hussein Obama.
All along the failure of Obama to meet requirements specifically set by Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution requiring the highest ranking officer of the executive branch to be a natrual born citizen within the United States, has been in question.
Obama refuses to release important personal documents, such as the long form birth certificate, his elementary school records that supposedly exist in Hawaii, academic records in at least 2 universities where it seems no one remembers that he attended, as well as the Illinois BAR association documents that prove that he legally practiced law. There are more. Obama has spent from 1.6 to 2 million dollars in order to keep these papers from being made public or allowing discovery of them at all. These are the facts. His supporters refuse to acknowledge that these facts are worthy of further dispute or challenge in the court system and are merely relegated to the “Birther” category lambasted by our liberal press who practically elected Obama themselves.
Mario Appuzo, the lawyer who is arguing the Kerchner vs Obama case will ultilize a different strategy that has yet to be addressed by the court, the Vattel Theory. This argument would allow discovery based on the acceptance of standing and allow a writ of certiorary which if granted would begin a federal trial in a New Jersey court to hear the case. A final definition on the term “natural born citizen” would have a timely impact in view of the current immigration crisis.
Appuzo believes he has a solid case based on standing as well as the determination of legal citizenship. The Vattel theory of requiring a president to be legally born within the US along with both parents being legal US citizens was adopted by our forefathers to insure that American values and patriotism would be impressed upon the president from childhood.
According to Mario, if the court allowed discovery it would be the end of Obama’s presidency as the fraud would finally be uncovered. It is a known fact that his father was a British subject. There is evidence that Obama himself was born in Kenya as was testified by his grandmother and a government official. His step father made him a citizen of Indonesia.
Obama has used numerous social security numbers constituting legal identity fraud. Yet, the courts are unwilling to hear or prosecute based on well documented challenges.
“If the courts had guts enough and would deal with this and would allow discovery, then Obama would be out of office,” stated Phillip Berg, a previous attorney who was denied standing. “You don‘t spend that kind of money unless there’s something to hide, and I believe that he’s hiding this because he was not born in the US.” Berg continued.
“The Supreme Court has never decided to hear the merits of an eligibility case, ” Phillip explained. “If the Supreme Court would decide to hear a case then Obama would be out of office. If Congress were to decide to hear a case then Obama would be out of office.”
If we are a nation of laws and not a nation of men, then why do our courts refuse to hear a perfectly valid legal argument pertaining to the eligibility of the president of the United States of America? Why is every attempt to exercise the right of citizens and combatants who serve under the commander in chief being denied standing when armed with facts that point to not only fraud, but a conspiracy to elect a noncitizen to the office of the presidency, a noncitizen who has knowingly committed fraud in order to be elected? Is this not a conspiracy that reaches to the very highest echelons of our government’s authority? Was the president of the US more than just an illegally vetted noncitizen? Is he a Manchurian candidate?
How is it that when you and I, just common everyday citizens, are required to present our birth certificate and proof of our education, that we willingly comply, yet our president does not have to? Tell me there’s not something seriously wrong with this question.

Justice Thomas is a good man, that he is a successful and intelligent black man, as well as a conservative really ****** off the left. All people should be bothered by this. To believe in a strict interpretation of the constitution, and not that it is A LIVING BREATHING DOCUMENT,subject to changing interpretation depending on societal norms, Was Heralded as being TOooooooo Political when Bush nominated ANY justices! For anyone old enough to remember the battle that Justice Thomas went through for this position, the sheer fact he remained steadfast and permitted God to fight his battle is an inspiration. Considering the battle we have always from the left “The President has a right to his picks” when it’s their POTUS, and “He’s stacking the courts”, when it’s not; we truly need to put forth that much more effort in the upcoming Primaries, and then during the campaign. Report Post »It has to be intentionally closing their eyes, lest something be seen before them which is toooooo uncomfortable, and would demand taking a side in what they choose to deem a battle of fanatics and crazies on both sides. Do you remember a day, when all you wanted was a chance to live your own life, and leave the weightier matters to those you believed were meant to handle them?
For me that time was somewhere between highschool, and reading my first-grader’s “Weekly Reader” newspaper, and realizing it was just a front for political indoctrination. (Mostly for positions I did not want my children raised to hold.

I highly recommend his autobiography My Grandfather’s Son and am amazed and humbled by how hard he worked, both physically and academically, from a young age into manhood, unlike a large percentage of American kids today who have never experienced a hard day’s labor. God bless Justice Thomas and his family, and God help those who perpetuate evil against them.

So I think we should let Thomas (and Scalia and Alito) Cash In Already (CIA)! I understand that it is hard to take personal opinion out of your decision-making process, but there are so few of them, how hard is it to find suitable canidates whose integrity is beyond reproach and are Honorable?
This man, Judge Thomas is one of the few.

Among those he attempted to wine and dine guests were Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Erick Schmidt, and Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs. He also plied them with pro-businesses mantras, though he practices policies that hurt them.
While the press was not allowed to cover the event, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney released an e-mail about the dinner. Apparently Obama chose these 12 titans of technology because “American companies like these have been leading by investing in the creativity and ingenuity of the American people, creating cutting-edge new technologies and promoting new ways to communicate.”
Indeed: If anyone knows how to lead the country by pushing it to nearly-boundless creative and communicative abilities technologically, these guests – who also included Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, and Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle — might know a thing or two about it. According to Carney, during the two and a half hour meal, the president discussed “his proposals to invest in research and development and expand incentives for companies to grow and hire, along with his goal of doubling exports over five years to support millions of American jobs.”
Gee I wonder if they talked about net neutrality at all. I wonder if they talked about controlling and manipulating the content and access to the internet since the world just got a taste at how this new technology of communication can play a vital role in revolutionary events ?????????????? Something smells very fishy….like secret meetings with mobster union types !!!!!!!!!!!

Recent events warrant such a stand that Justice Thomas has taken and the US Congress and Senate should also take the same stand. The US Consttitution has been under attack from the beginning of this current administration.
The US Constitution does NOT give the Executive Branch of the US Government the authority or power to circumvent the Judicial and Legislative Branches. It was for times like these that the founders of our country established the three distinct branches of government to prevent one branch from giving itself the authority and power not given to it by the US Constitution.
President Obama recently declared that he has ordered the US Attorney General, Eric Holder, to no longer defend the DOMA LAW ( Defense Of Marriage Act). Holder has commented that HE considers the LAW unconstitutional and threfore will NOT defend it. WAIT A MINUTE. Since when does the President and the Attorney General of the USA have the authority and power to establish law and determine what is and what is not contitutional.
President Obama during his inaugural ceremony took a sworn oath during which he as the POTUS would protect and defend the Constitution. He has BROKEN that oath. Therefore the US Congress and Senate should begin the procedure to impeach President Barack Obama. The impeachment process against Presidents Nixon and Clinton was put into action for lesser offences. Why is President Barack Obama being given a “free pass” for his uncontitutional act ?
Constitutionally, neither the President or the Attorney General have the liberty or right to decide which laws they wiil defend or not defend. If they get away with it this time, what law will they decide is unconstitutional and therefore will not be defend? The US Constitution requires them to defend ALL
