Defense Sec. Panetta Stresses Importance of ‘Legal Basis’ & ‘International Permission’ for Military Action

During testimony this week in front of a Senate Armed Services Committee, Defense Sec. Leon Panetta stunned Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) by saying the U.S. would seek a “legal basis” and “international permission” for military action in Syria (especially if the action was the work of a coalition). The response came after a question of whether the military would seek congressional approval for any action overseas:

I heard this and nearly lost my mind. If the UN is allowed to determine when we can and cannot go to war, we are in deeper doodoo than I ever imagined. I also never dreamed I would hear someone say we were going to let the international community decide what we would and would not do. If this isn’t treason, what is? I guess we all need to go and get fitted for our little blue berets.

Main stream media is worthless most of the time, agenda driven. the above link is from Fox news and I was surprised they aired it. The FBI director will not answer if U. S. citizens can be attacked or killed overseas, and in our the confines of the U.S. also. He waivers and does not answer. This goes against our Constitution and this needs to be brought out in the main stream. Our most important
crisis in our Nation is the erosion of our Constitution. One man is the only choice to stop this madness, that is Ron Paul. Time is running out to get on the side of freedoms and to reverse the attack on our Constitution.

Our Congress was just given notice (and legal precedence) that they are no longer needed and are merely ‘ornamental’ figure-heads. Our military has been taken over by foreign entities with the president‘s AND the Congress’s blessing. It‘s called a Coup D’etat. The ‘useful idiots’ of Congress aren‘t so useful anymore and they are only beginning to cry foul since they really don’t want to lose their power.

Our founders were very smart in separating the powers. Each would want to hold on to their powers and not give them up to a President which would end up making him a dictator. Now they are seeing that they are about to lose it all, just like the Roman Senate.

Warning to the Congress.. useful idiots are always the first to go when the plan/scam is complete.

Let it be known, that under Pannetta’s watch, the Air Force band program will cut to the bone. Some airhead woman in congress proposed that bands be done away with.Thousands of family’s will be out of a job. Band people are true professionals who have studied their entire lives to achieve the competency it takes to be called world class. Now, they are just a number to democrats. What does this say about a “quality” force. This is a mis-guided step that will gut one of the best programs the military has.

Whether Panetta or Obama is behind this or he obeying the Globalist Masters in, it is treason. The constitution clears gives this enumerated power to the congress. Was was NOT supposed to be easy to declare or start. We can NOT wait for the elections because, since he answers to the UN, he might cancel elections or refuse to leave if he looses. During impeachment, they CAN go to all depositories of all original records on Obama and demand they be produced.

Remove SecDef Leon Panetta from office immediately. There is nothing in the Constitution giving any foreign government or international multi-governmental body any say on whether or not the U.S. goes to war. In fact the War Powers Act was specifically passed into law to prevent an American president and his Administration from committing the U.S. to a war or protracted conflict without expressed Congressional approval. The Obama Administration makes a mockery of the U.S. Constitution, and it has to stop.

Ask yourself this. Would your candidate keep us in the UN. If he would, you are voting for the wrong guy. The United States shouldnt ask permission to do anything. We are headed to a global economic collapse followed up by a global governance. Everyone else will not be brought up to Americas standards, we will be dropped to theirs.

But hey, keep voting for progressives, globalists, and social engineers that cannot win so a socialist/communist can finish us off. The problems we have arent a R or a D problem. Both of them are the problem and talking heads like Rush, Sean, Glenn, and Bill have screwed you into thinking that if we just get rid of Obama the problem will be fixed. The real problem is 3 of the 4 GOP guys are not much different than Obama in a lot of ways and dont address the biggest issue we face which is our spending and debt.

    WAKE UP!!!!

We need to close down the world police force know as the U.S. military and wait for them to come to us if they need help. If they do we state it plain and simple….ALL COST BOTH MILITARILY AND REBUILDING IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY NOT OURS. Advancing the concept of a unified governance. Slowly but steadily turning over U.S. decisions to the Socio-communistic United Nations. Obama already did this before in Lybia. As long as the current crop of elected officials are running things we will remain vulnerable to the continued degredation of our Constitution.

Replacing the idea of speaking with allies about a given problem, to; seeking permission to act is a monumental proclamation and should not go unchallenged.
