President Barack Obama seems to be disconnected from voters, observes Democratic pollster Mark Penn. So what’s the best way to solve this political problem? According to Penn, Obama needs another Oklahoma City bombing so he can connect with voters like President Bill Clinton did.

haven’t we had several other disasters like the oil spill or the Tennessee floods, etc. where he had a chance to connect? he has had his chance and has blown it. he blows it every time and will continue to be a failure. he just doesn’t care about the people, and we, the people, can tell. He didn’t “connect” with us and he won’t because it is (in his mind) below him……………………I live on the gulf coast of Fl and because of Obamas neglect of leadership we have a mess that will take a lifetime to get rid of.

It sounded to me like this nut was calling for a terrorist act and Matthews just sat there and let him do it. These were the people that were saying Beck and the Tea party are seditious and now they are saying we need a terror attack or uprising to save Obama’s presidency. With this guy holding the office, I pray there is no attack of any kind. I mean, so far he’s been a disaster in all that he has done. It has really cost the American people. What makes anybody think he would be any better of a leader in a terrorist attack.

BUT, I do see an attack maybe happening around June, July, August of 2012, I can see him calling a “state of emergency” and delaying the vote for an unspecified length of time. He does have that power.

  Now would also be a good time to call for Marshall Law if a disaster happened while he, his family and many WH staff are out of the country along with the 34 war ships and numerous other important things needed to do a quick takeover of our country. I hope I am wrong. I feel as though something is going on and it isn’t good. I do not trust Obama or his people. He sees himself as one who is a hope for the world and he really believes it. He is in a position to accomplish his plan. After this election he is realizing the people of the USA do not trust him and have the power to vote him out. He must do something to assure himself and his followers that the folks cannot vote him out. he has clearly stated who his enemies are…Fox News and the GOP and all conservatives.

All the piececs are in place and have been for the last 20 months, they just need a crisis. also Executive directive 51 is a “scarry read”.

And Obama would see it as taking out some of his opposition , he doesn’t care about American lives , to him we are the bad guys and deserve it .

  The Dems remember the patriotism and pride, anger and defiance in the face of disaster that we ALL felt after 9/11. They recently have seen the Tea Party grassroots movement demonstrating the pride and the passion that true patriots still feel for their country, and it makes them realize they have empty lives. They have no passion, no true patriotism for this country, no real love of bretheren in arms.
  They were unceremoniously reminded of that on Nov 2nd.

  Scarier than that is the fact that Washington is a prime target and he is taking his whole family, most of the WH staff and getting out of town for 10 days. India is a strong ally of the United States in a volatile region of the world (you seem to recognize that much). He’s going there to strengthen military bonds and our economic relationship with that country. That‘s why he’s going there. That’s what Presidents do. Every President. Did Bush go to Iraq to try to provoke an attack to boost his poll numbers?
  
  I know you prefer the much more complex conspiracy theory that he’s actually going there to provoke a terrorist attack in order to further his goal of becoming absolute dictator of the United States (and then the world, which he will then hand over to Muslims who will force Sharia law on all of us). You seem smart. Can you conceive that maybe, just maybe, this is a diplomatic effort on behalf of this country? Or are you so convinced he’s trying to destroy this country that a diplomatic visit cannot be taken at face value but must somehow be part or his plan (as you have prophesied) of world domination?

  here’s the thing.. both Obama and Michelle have had a list of THINGS to do and places to VISIT.. and they are going through it.. ON the TAXPAYERS dime.. I pretty much think OBAMA is going to be a one term PRESIDENT.. and he pretty much has figured that out.. He is NOT there for JOBS for American’s..   I just watched the video. I don’t think the headline is right… he didn’t call for a terrorist attack… he just said that Obama needs to connect with the American people. He just happened to use the example of Clinton after Oklahoma. It’s interesting that somehow you think this equates to calling for a terrorist attack… :rolleyes:
