Democratic Strategist Calls Herman Cain ‘Racist, Bigoted‘ for Saying Blacks Have Been ’Brainwashed’

Democratic strategist Cornell Belcher said GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain is “racist” and “bigoted” for his comment this week that African Americans have been “brainwashed” to not accept conservatism.
Belcher, a pollster for President Barack Obama, told CNN‘s Anderson Cooper that Cain’s remarks exposed a “double standard” and should be a “teachable moment.”
“What Herman Cain said was a racist, bigoted statement and it should treated like a racist and bigoted person who makes those racist and bigoted statements,” Belcher said.
He added, “If I came on your show, Anderson, and I said, all Jewish people are brainwashed, I probably wouldn‘t be invited back to CNN and I assure you the condemnation would be swift and it’d be powerful and be strong.”
This is hardly the first time Cain has come under fire for being a black conservative. Just this week, liberal actress Janeane Garofalo said he helped the GOP “hide the racist elements of the Republican Party.”
Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, appearing on CNN with Belcher, said he wasn’t “going to get into racial politics” when Belcher repeated his hypothetical statement about Jewish voters. Fleischer continued to refuse to engage on the racism charge, attempting to steer the conversation toward Cain’s electoral prospects.
As Belcher said again Cain’s comments represented a “double standard,” Fleischer defended them, saying they were built on the “presumption” that “90 to 95 percent of African Americans vote a certain way — but when people start throwing the word “racism” around that’s when I end the conversation.”
When Cooper said people make blank statements about groups all the time, such as “liberals think this” or “independent voters think this,” Belcher said that wasn’t the point.
“Well, liberals didn‘t have a history of Jim Crowe or slavery so it’s different,” he said.

Think of all the genocide that has happened in recorded history all over this globe. Think of how women and homosexuals and Christians are treated in the backward Muslim countries? Atrocities are happening this very minute in Afghanistan and Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and Indonesia to name four very strict Muslim countries. Why isn’t Belcher (that‘s a good name for him since he’s full of stinking gas) talking about? He’s a broken record like all the DNC talking heads. Racism, racism, racism is the reason why for all their problems and inadequacies. He needs to face up to the fact that Africans started the whole slave trade that brought so many from that continent to these shores. Africans selling other Africans.

Dad worked, mom stayed home and took care of things, taught the kids and made sure the went to school, taught them respect of themselves and others. Now look at them. The whole culture is destroying itself. They sell drugs to children at the local grade school and steal in their own neightborhood and then complain about the crime and why someone doesn’t do something. They drop kids like bunnies and complain about having too many mouths to feed. They set around and wait on welfare to take care of them instead of even LOOKING for a job. People like Cain and Cosby are right, the blacks in this country are killing themselves and the liberals are helping them do it by constantly telling them they have a right to be stupid. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Generalized comments about how “they” used to be versus now or use of terms like “y’all.” Unfortunately, when someone is combing through these threads searching for evidence that Conservatives are racist, they see these kinds of comments and feel they have proved their theory. Liberals will take and spend and buy votes while claiming to be in posession of the biggest hearts while conservatives simply want to have the space, freedom, and access to the opportunity to provide for themselves and their loved ones. Liberals want a Big Government to be able to control outcomes through manipulation and the abuse of power, while conservatives feel that the best things only happen when the Government is limited to basic services.
Skin color is irrelevant.

I don‘t blame rabid dogs for foaming at the mouth so I guess I can’t blame Liberal blacks for hauling out racism charges no matter how ludicrous.
