Posted on September 23, 2010 at 12:18pmAll three branches of government need to be returned to their constitutionally designed status and station: servants of the citizens; subservient and obedient to the people.
All State lands stolen through federal deception will be returned back to the states. All departments not in existence in 1800 outlawed, defunded, and the usurped powers returned to the states and the people.
Federal employees will receive minimum wage as an incentive to return to the public sector.
Federal employees will receive no pensions.
Federal employee will not form unions.
Senators shall be appointed and not elected.
Senators shall represent the interest of the states not the federal government.
The clowns in DC have to be willing to fall on the sword for the nation. The jig is up and it is time to repay the people what you have stolen from them. Silly little men who are slaves to trinkets and baubles.

Posted on September 23, 2010 at 2:47pmSo no FCC to regulate the airwaves. Cool, I‘ll start jamming Fox’s signals with four-letter expletives and no one can do anything about it.
No CIA or FBI to fight the “war” on terror. I bet Al Qaeda will love that.
No airport security. The terrorists are loving that.
Yes, this is a very realistic proposal you offer.
I cannot believe how deficient the average voter blogging here is.

Posted on September 23, 2010 at 3:46pm@ABC….ever hear of privatization? Airports can‘t hire their own private ’security’ companies? Same for intelligence agencies. Remember we believe in capitalism and from the inception of our great Nation, Americans have always been able to rise to any challenge. WE DO NOT WANT big government taking care of everything in our lives. Can you hear that?

Posted on September 24, 2010 at 12:00pmWhile I applaud your enthusiasm, there are some thing that the states can not adequately do in our country. Imagine an air traffic controller earning minimum wage guiding your airplane at 39,000 feet traveling at close to 600 MPH. Make you want to take the train? Some federal jobs are necessary and the compensation should be adequate for the skill and training necessary to do those jobs. Get rid of the bureaucracies, the unnecessary spending, political foreign aid, and make lobbying illegal for everyone. Congress should have to write their own bills in plain language, and should have to actually meet with their constituents to find out what they should be doing.

Posted on September 24, 2010 at 12:06pmContracting out doesn’t always work well in all cases. As in ATC you need a nation wide agency that uses the same rules, the same training and the same computers, radars etc. An Air Route Traffic Control Center covers many states. If you made every state have their own it would be a coordination nightmare. 50 different agendas might be a bit difficult to merge into one unified purpose. It might work for education, but not for all things.

Report Post »I am so tired of the spin and the lies!
We must get serious and we will have to sacrafice, make no mistake.
Here are some items that will have to be slashed or reduced:
Government pensions (Federal/State) and Government Wages must be reduced!!
Congress should start with thier own salaries and pensions as a good gesture (Im sure nobody would be picketing this)
Social Security- (grandfathered) raise the age of eligibility ( because everybody knows if you are depending on social security to support you in your old age you are in trouble, you should be in 401k, IRA’s, or independant form of retirement fund)
People in a high income bracket should be suspended from the plan immediatley.
Post office should reduce hours and days they are open and wages should be brought down to average salaries.
U.N. should be sent a letter ASAP, We are not ecomically able to total support this organization, so some other country will have to step up and pay what we have been paying for the 40 years (40%)
We can only help with 10 % SORRY!
All czars are not going to get paid , if you want to work for free fine but the Constitutions does not support these people getting paid.
Obamacare repealed! Constiturion does not support this type of legistlation
Fannie/Freddie should be closed
Department of Education should be eliminated, this should be local and state responsibility.
Illegal immigration should be high priority, fine people that harbor or employ these criminals, if they continue to engage in the illegal behavior, take thier business license or take thier property.
I could go on and on
But could someone in Washington please get serious
We the People are tired of the BS and spin
Get serious or be fired
November is coming
God Bless America

They were bemoaning the new “contract on America”, the $400,000 per year the Republican Senators and Congressman’s salary (the moderator cut that woman off and explained they make between $125,000 and $200,000 and that the President makes $400,000) and so on. It’s no wonder the progressives are pushing through with so much of their agenda. Ignorance is not bliss. It’s stupid. It really sucks waking up and seeing this going on. Boehner Embraces the Tea Party
September 23, 2010 11:29 A.M.
By Robert Costa
Sterling, Va. — House GOP Leader John Boehner just made an impromptu visit to a small tea-party rally outside Tart lumber yard. “If the American people stay engaged, Congress will do exactly what you demand,” he said, as he accepted a silver tea kettle from a rally member. “Thank you for being involved in our democracy.”
“We know you are taking it in the head a lot,” said one activist. “We got your back, sir.” Boehner’s reply: “I appreciate that.”
With that, Boehner jumped into a black SUV, on his way back to Washington, as cries of “We love Speaker Boehner” echoed throughout the parking lot.

Yes, Bush was the president but the dems controlled the purse strings. They know what is being said smaller government, shrink the deficit, keep the Bush tax cuts for all will create jobs. Has a stimulus check ever created a job or has cutting taxes for the lower income brackets ever created a new business?
