Did Ahmadinejad Brag About Iran’s Role in the Bulgaria Terror Attack?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gloated on national television about the deaths of five Israelis in a suicide bus bombing in Bulgaria this week — and may have hinted at Iran’s involvement in the attack.
The Times of Israel reported:
Speaking hours after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had publicly blamed the bombing Wednesday at Bulgaria’s Burgas airport on “Hezbollah, directed by Iran,” Ahmadinejad described the attack as “a response” to Israeli “blows against Iran.”
“The bitter enemies of the Iranian people and the Islamic Revolution have recruited most of their forces in order to harm us,” he said in a speech reported by Israel’s Channel 2 TV. “They have indeed succeeded in inflicting blows upon us more than once, but have been rewarded with a far stronger response.”
He added: “The enemy believes it can achieve its aims in a long, persistent struggle against the Iranian people, but in the end it will not. We are working to ensure that.”

According to the Times, Ahmadinejad’s speech was interpreted in Israel as admitting that the bombing was revenge for the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists, something Iran has in the past accused Israel of being behind.
Five Israelis — Itzik Colangi, 28, Amir Menashe, 28, Maor Harosh, 25, Elior Price, 26, and Kochava Shriki, 44 — were killed in the attack, as well as the Bulgarian bus driver. Thirty-three others were wounded.
According to the Times, Ahmadinejad’s remarks are starkly different from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, who said Iran, “the biggest victim of terrorism, believes terrorism endangers the lives of innocents…is inhumane and so strongly condemns” the attack.
A Pentagon official on Thursday said U.S. officials “don’t know” whether the bomber that blew up the bus was a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, despite Bulgarian media reports.

Funny how you hate minorities because Israel is so small but then it seems you do enjoy picking on anyone Muslims hate. The shame Arabs use to be a very intelligent people before they became so full of hate for the rest of the world that they love to have their children murder themselves and others. How did Israel defend itself from those 2 wars, they read their Scriptures and found how God protected them, from what we call the Old Testament. Report Post »I have no proof on hand however the style of the attack is consistent with others that have been traced to Iran. Specifically, it was directed at Israelis or Jews in a foreign country other than Israel. The use of suicide bombing is practically an Islamist calling card. The attack was also clearly well planned indicating that it was a group that was responsible and that they are well connected, well funded, well organized, and well informed. Since Hamas rarely operates outside of Israel and Al Qaeda usually aims for bigger targets and usually targets the US, that leaves Hezbollah, which is a proxy of Iran, as the prime suspect.

So you want me to believe that Israel staged a false flag operation against the Liberty? This happened in 1967 if you remember. You know, the war Israel won in six days after which they had tripled the territory under their control. What justification could they have for launching a false flag attack when they clearly were doing fine on their own?
Who exactly was Israel trying to blame for attack anyway? You didn‘t seem to mention it but assuming your following the David Duke conspiracy that Egypt would have been blamed there’s still the issue that no one at any point even suggested Egypt was behind it and no one ever believed they were. After all, if memory serves me, Israel attacked the Liberty with French-built Mirage III aircraft. Meanwhile, Egypt’s air force, which consisted of Russian-built planes, had been almost completely annihilated during Israel’s preemptive strike that started the war.
Simply put, the motive you have given for the attack doesn’t fit with the situation on the ground. Moreover, if the attack was on purpose, why did the US accept the “cover story”? Lastly, to prove your theory, you would have to explain how Israel could have convinced the world Egypt was behind it.

I love it when he talks, he has a forked tongue, and he cannot put two sentences together.
One more act like this, and it will be your favorite mosque; if this doesnt work, Mecca will be levelled, If this does not work, godbye Iran. It will only be a matter of time, before not only Iran, but all its allies, will align against this little (alleged) Satan, Israel. When these people say ‘never again,’ they mean it.

I don‘t speak the language so I don’t know what he’s saying. The only thing I have is what the media is reporting and it’s not like the have a flawless track record translating, AND with recent legislation from both sides of the isle, I have to assume anything said by the media is govt. propaganda. I don’t trust our current government. Do you?

Personally, I don’t give a rats behind what “Ahma Jimmy Carter’s Dad” has to say or how we try to interpret it. I would however like to hear that his airway has been cut off and we need not hear from him again.
