Did Bob Beckel Threaten Blogger Pamela Gellar During Live FBN Appearance?

The Lid sets it up this way:
Here‘s something you don’t hear very often from a Fox News Contributor “You’re a woman, you better be careful about saying who I carry water for,” but that was the threat Bob Beckel made to my friend, Pamela Geller editor of Atlas Shrugs during a heated exchange on Eric Bolling’s Fox Business News show Money Rocks last night.
Geller says the off-air conversation wasn’t much better:
When we cut to break, Beckel chided Bolling for not bringing “Jewish slumlords” on the show (referring to Bolling‘s segment on Imam Rauf’s status as a New Jersey slumlord, so named in a lawsuit against Rauf by Union City). When I heard Beckel’s Jew-hating belch, I said, “and you’re an anti-semite.” He told me to “kiss his ass,” to which I responded that he would never get anyone anywhere in the world to get with that.
Our lesson in media manners comes from Newsbusters:
Beckel’s appearances on FNC have been infuriating at times, but mostly for ideological reasons. He is, after all, a liberal. But he clearly crossed a line tonight with his uncharacteristically aggressive attacks on Geller. Even Arlen Specter knows that you don’t start any argumentative statement with the words ‘you’re a woman.’

People with this mentality are unable to offer anything logical and resort to personal attacks. Anyone who exhibits behavior similar to this loses my respect immediately – it doesn’t really matter what they are saying, I can’t seem to get past the inappropriate way they treat others.

He continually admits to charges like this against Obama, or Democrats to marginalize and dilute the impact of the charge. He did that when it came up about Obama smoking weed, He confessed to smoking weed as to say so what. He’s done it on other things, too. Then it’s on to his sarcastic humor, and digs to try and distract, mock and ridicule.
What a dispicable, and usless pundit. That anyone would continue having him is beyond me. There is very little substance – and mostly sarcasim and vitriol that spews from this jerk. (I turn the channel if he is on Hannity – which he is often).

I bristled when I heard how he talked to Geller. And I almost clicked on the link that conservativefeminist posted, encouraging people to contact Fox to request his firing. But then I thought, He may be an ass-he said something inflammatory and perhaps not out of character for him. But I’ll have a little faith in Pamela Geller here-I will defer to her wisdom in this situation-especially since she is much closer to the situation. I‘m sure she can handle herself just fine and I doubt she’ll need any help from me to deal with this liberal buffoon.
