Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice threw her full support behind Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney Wednesday night, but did she also hint that she’s leaving the door open for her own possible White House run?
“On a personal note,” Rice said near the end of her speech at the Republican National Convention, “a little girl grows up in Jim Crow Birmingham, the segregated city of the South where her parents can’t take her to a movie theater or to a restaurant. But they have her absolutely convinced that even though she can’t have a hamburger at the Woolworth’s lunch counter, she can be president of the United States if she wanted to be, and she becomes the secretary of state.”
Watch below:
Rice’s name surfaced in July as a possible running mate pick for Romney. She subsequently shot the idea down, saying there was “no way” she would do it “because it’s not really me.”

Posted on September 1, 2012 at 8:38amSeriously, has she not done enough for the USA?
She has supported three presidents in peace and in war.
I have two small girls (the elder is six) and when they are old enough, I will give them her books to read. She is a hero of mine, and, I hope, a future hero of theirs also.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 10:12amHave noticed that the so-called Ron Paul types all seemed to have joined the Blaze right before the elections of 2010 when the Left was trashing the “ extreme ” ( still the Left’s parroted Theme ) Tea Party types. Given the nasty tone of so many of the comments , I have grown highly suspicious of their Troll origins. Have also noted an excessive amount of these so-called types ever since Ryan was chosen and the Left has grown more fearful of losing ! Seems that Plan B : Divide the Dumb Conservatives has progressed into high LEFT gear. So many Drone Trolls .

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 6:37amI did not take the speech as referring to herself, but rather to the next generation of women, and those who will study what she has said, how she has said it, and why? If your biggest fear is rejection, then your greatest obstacle is yourself?
I like her clarity of thought and how she delivers her ideas, and a great example of how we all learn from the best and the brightest in our country, because she delivers those ideas in a way you can relate?
That’s a nice style to have, I hope more of us can project that presence as well? Not only is the Convention showing to me great talent, but how much we have to be thankful for?

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 4:04amNO, CONDI did not even HINT at running for office. She’s a wonderful lady who loves this country, even after all she’s been through. She was very Impressive!! So was Susana Martinez; Artur Davis and PAUL RYAN was AMAZINGLY GREAT!!! Sarah Palin has been such a fabulous team player and anyone who wanted to knock her or trap her… no way Jose!! I’m so proud of her !! WE do have a DEEP BENCH!!! Shake in fear Liberal Dems. We’re coming after you. We are not going to stand by and watch you lame-brains wreck our country. GO SEE “2016 the movie”
Report Post »PS: The TWITTER POLL by Chris Stirewalt is SO FLAWED! ! After DEMS learned how Chris took readings – they totally loaded up Tweets 4 today trying to make it appear that Paul Ryan wasn’t as well received we all know it was!! DEMS always cheat on polls or deals like this. If Stirewalt wants to incorporate Twitter, he can’t do it based on faux comments by Dems…maybe the spike in number of tweets only…that way it wouldn’t pay for Dems to try to load it up. they do that on every poll!

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 4:36amMaybe Fox dropped her because it wasn‘t McCain’s night but Romney & Ryan. I think Clint Eastwood is the surprise speaker. Palin speaking would only please a small segment of conservatives like yourselves.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 3:24amCondi Rice is erudite, articulate, perceptive, charming, attractive, graceful, devastatingly intelligent, and she will not run for political office.
I well understand why her name pops up from time to time, considering her many attributes, but she has repeated ad infinitum that her active role in your nation’s affairs is over.
Sad, but there it is.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 2:07amRice is a progressive just like Mr Bush is. She was trying to get Israel to give up more land to the worthless Muslims sitting over there living on the billions of dollars that this country sends them every year. That worked really well when Israel was forced to give Gaza to the Muslims didn’t it? Now they have terrorists lobbing bombs at them daily from Gaza. Great idea U.S.!. The world government that both Republicans and Democrats are working toward has decided that Islam is a much better “religion” for the world to follow than Christianity. It is a much better way to control the masses isn’t it? Christianity invites individual rights and that is not a good way to control the masses. The fools in colleges and universities that are trying to destroy everything this nation once stood for are pressing for the world government. They don’t realize that under this world government they will be some of the first to be wiped out. Islam hates homosexuals. While Christians consider homosexuality a sin they don’t go out and try to harm them. The Muslims will cut them to pieces and throw their body parts in a dump. Our progressive government officials want a small amount of unelected elite persons running the world monetary system as well as all the military and law makers. They don’t feel the ignorant masses should have the right to rule themselves as the backward United States of America did for almost 200 years. If you think you are still have control of this country look a
