Did Liberal Radio Host Bill Press Really Compare Herman Cain to Accused Penn State Molester?

In what is being dubbed the “smear of the year” by RadioEqualizer, liberal talk radio host Bill Press actually equated GOP presidential contender Herman Cain with disgraced Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky – who stands accused of sodomizing a ten-year-old boy in a school shower and “pimping out” boys with whom he worked, to donors. Thus far, Sandusky has been charged with some 40 counts of sexual abuse of underage boys.
Yet somehow, for Press, the crimes for which Sandusky has been arrested, are comparable to allegations of sexual harassment made by “five women” against Cain. Women who, besides being of-age, curiously only came forward nearly two decades after the alleged harassment occurred — at a time when Cain happened to be running for the Republican presidential nomination.
If the comparison seems too outrageous to believe, listen for yourself:

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 8:27pmEveryone needs to quit listening to all this crap and just look at Cain for his views. His views are the problem. His 9-9-9 and 9-0-9 plan will hurt so many people of modest means that it will hurt America. Believe me, there is no way that changing the tax system in this manner will be good overall for this country. We need to get away from individual taxes to the Federal Government. It was never Constitutional and never will be. We need to get back to our system of Government that made our country the greatest in the world. The only candidate that I hear talking about this is Ron Paul. The media shuns him and calls him a kook, the other candidates give him looks that go along with the media. You say that it is the machine that is going after Cain and it empowers you to like him more. Why not look at the candidate that they are really shunning? That is the person they are afraid of the most, because he is a threat to the establishment. He really wants to put the power back into the hands of the people and not the Gov or the big money corporations. Can’t you see that? I was leaning toward Cain and even Newt, but the more I listen to the youtube video’s with Ron Paul, the more I am leaning toward him. He really is for the individual and small government. He is for the Constitution where all others are still a little wishy washy on the Constitution. Please, research all Ron Paul videos and go to his website and research, I implore you.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 9:47pmPatrick Henry II, you have an old school gentility with your use of the word “sir.“ You asked but did not answer the question ”Am I rich?” If you put pencil to paper and have determined that you’d be better off with the 999 plan, then you are rich and must make over $200,000 a year. Congratulations.
The average American, who spends more or less what they make, lose money with the 999 plan. If you are poor and spend everything you make just to buy food for you and your family, and your dollar suddenly has only 90 cents of buying power, then you go under. If you’re middle class, and have 10% discretionary income, instantly your have none.
If you spend most of your money you‘re worse off with Cain’s 999 plan because your money is worth only 90% of what it was before.
But if you’re rich and invest most of your money, then you’re better off.
It‘s a great plan if you’re rich. Not so much if you’re middle class or poor. For those guys, it’s worse.

I really have no idea what youa re talking about and wonder if even you do. Actually I think I am an average american. I am not personally in favor of paying an additional 9% sales tax on items that I purchase but if my federal taxes were cut completely and I were to get 100% of my income back and was able to determine how I would spend it then maybe I would be in favor of this plan.
Yes this would impact people that currently do not pay taxes and yet get money back from tax paying citizens anyway. I would imagine that the politicians will work out some scheme so that these people that get money back on top of what they do not currently pay will still get some type of benefit.
Now what was your point to begin with.

Report Post »You’re correct…if you’re only considering the sales tax. With a 9% income tax across the board(which is 1% lower than the lowest fed income tax bracket in 2011) you have more of your money coming to you rather than the federal gov’t, which leave you to better decide how to spend the money.

You jump to conclusions, do not understand the Constitution or Liberty, and you will follow what the MSM wants you to. I have a net worth of a little less than $500,000.00, my yearly income stands at between $120,000.00 – 150,000.00 so although I am not guber-rich, I am well off. I do know many people who struggle to make ends meet that have jobs at approx $8-10/hr. I can’t stand the me, me, me attitude that I experience on here saying I want the people that can’t afford taxes to pay their fair share. What the heck is that? What is fair? You and I may be able to afford the extra 9% sales tax, but a lot of hard working people will not. Let’s just make it to where only the middle class and above can afford goods and let the lower economic class die so they are not in our hair anymore. This is the impression both of you give me. You two and your selfishness make me sick to my stomach.

http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2011-11-09.html
Plus, when you boil it down, there were only ever two credible accusations against Cain: one was paid 35 thousand (and that may have been severance pay), the other 45 thousand. That person now has a name and face- and a history. She went on to file sexual harassment charges at her very next job, based on a set of jokes she was offended by sent around the workplace via e-mail. Is it any surprise shes an Ivy Leaguer? This is also the same lady whose biggest complaint, Cain vaguely remembers, was that he compared her height to that of his wife.
So…if they paid her 45 thousand- which some of that I would assume is severance pay- and the other lady even less than that, what does that tell us? There was nothing there, no serious claim was made!
Now we have a woman who is clearly a liar, knows David Axelrod, lives in Chicago, is in debt, has filed a claim of harassment against a previous boyfriend…
There’s nothing real here at all! It’s all smoke and mirrors! This is insane. The liberal “press” in this country is full of biased creeps who are clearly terrified of Cain getting the nomination.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 6:42pmThat Press calls what Sandusky is accused of as sexual ‘harassment’ boggles the imagination… Coach Sandusky was caught naked in the shower with a naked 10 year-old boy engaging in what can be described as ‘unnatural’ sex acts. Herman Cain is accused of touching a woman’s leg and holding her neck.
And we don’t have five women making the same complaint – we have five women who each has a unique story with one common thread – when each woman asked him to, Herman Cain stopped whatever he was accused of doing. Coach Sandusky was akins with his alleged victims.
Report Post »Supercalafragalisticexpialidotious
Posted on November 11, 2011 at 7:36pmYou’re falling for the media narrative hook line and sinker.
Look at the facts: 2 claims of sexual harassment were made against Cain in the late nineties. One lady got $35,000, one got $45,000. The one who got $45,000 now has a name and face: she is the Ivy Leaguer who, at her very next job, filed another sexual harassment claim because of “offensive” jokes included in a group work e-mail. These are the jokes, paraphrased: “Men are like computers because in order to get them to do anything, you have to turn them on”. and “Women are like computers because they file away every little thing you did wrong and can pull it up at a moment’s notice.”
This lady is also the same woman who who Cain recalls having made the comment to about her being about the same height as his wife. He recalls that being the “most serious” part of her harassment claim. Simply based on the e-mail she felt constituted “sexual harassment” at her next job- plus the pay raise and other demands she wanted because of it- I‘d say she’s a classic chip-on-your-shoulder feminist. And since the other lady got paid $10,000 less than her (all of which may have been severance money), I’d bet her claim of sexual harassment held even less water- which means there was nothing real to it whatsoever!
That leaves the “anonymous” woman who didn’t file a claim “because her friend did”, and Sharon Bialek, who can be described best by Ann Coulter here:

Sheesh- he’s nationally known, days pass after the two harassment claims come to light- is it a surprise that some “anonymous” woman comes forward?
Smoke and mirrors. Worse than that: slander and liable. It’s disgusting to think this is having an effect on Mr. Cain’s nomination chances. Why the heck do you think Cain hired Mr. Wood, a lawyer who specializes in defending the falsely accused? Because he’s guilty? Umm…no.
Sorry, not angry at you- just upset at how the Chicago thuggery and liberal slanted media is once again attempting to (and possibly succeeding) at choosing out candidate for us.
And Glenn Beck ought to get a brain! He says we’ll “never know” about Cain, and wishes that he would go on GBTV so that Beck can look into his eyes and see the truth there? So…by default he‘s probably guilty if he doesn’t go on Glenn’s show?
How about using that logical deduction, Mr. Beck, and “seeing the bigger picture” you always go on about when it comes to Cain’s accusers? Sheesh!! I, and many, many other people are not subscribed to GBTV! Get over it!
