National Review’s Jim Geraghty asks the key question:
Was the below campaign video filmed in the White House? It certainly appears so.
If the ad was recorded in the White House, some say that would be a violation of the law.
Geraghty notes that this video from a 2009 address to Berliners seems to have the same lamp in the background:

That being said, it‘s entirely possible it isn’t and even if it is are there any laws regarding using a green screen to make it look as though he is inside of the white house by using an actual picture of what I am guessing to be a highly restricted area of the white house? (b) The prohibition in subsection (a) shall not apply to the receipt of contributions by persons on the staff of a Senator or Representative in, or Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress or Executive Office of the President, provided, that such contributions have not been solicited in any manner which directs the contributor to mail or deliver a contribution

section 641 of title 18, United States Code/USC (prohibiting the conversion of government property to personal use) clearly prohibits the use of government property to raise campaign funds.
…section 607 of title 18 USC, which makes it unlawful for ‘any person to solicit…any (campaign) contribution…in any room or building occupied in the discharge of official (government) duties

Well, President Barack Hussein Obama says, ” I don’t need to obey any stinking law “. He has appointed himself to define what is and what isn’t Constitutional, and what law is to be enforced and what law isn’t to be enforced. Eric Holder as the US Attorney General is the Chief law Enforcement Officer of the Nation but he also is above the law.
It‘s worked pretty well for him so far as it seems he’s able to get by with just about any thing he wants to do, regardless if it’s against the US Constitution or against the law. Neither the Legislative branch nor the Judicial branch of our government who are supposed to keep the Executive branch within the precepts of the US Constitution and the law have done nothing .I fear things are going to go from bad to worse if steps aren’t taken now to correct the wrongs that have been committed against the American citizens.

It is disgusting that the ELECTED representatives are not doing their jobs and asking the questions and starting the procedures to have the foreigner booted out of what is supposed to be the most respected and dignified office in our country. This embarrassment should be in prison along with every person that hid his agenda and prolonged his term at breaking the laws and overthrowing these united states. What is wrong here? PLENTY! The only comfort that I have is the fact that there is a God and he is in charge and his plan is much much bigger than all of this and whatever man messes up he can repair and make better in the end. Right now we vote for the better people and pray and help each other through this as the bad stuff still may be ahead.

Some are saying he made it in the residence where he and his family live and therefore it’s OK. Well, gee – I think he is in that he is occupying that building in the discharge of official duties – since no one but the president and his family…… well – include mother-in-law and whomever else he considers his family…….can live there ! We, the taxpayers are paying for it and all the expenses, right?
Others sat he wasn’t asking for donations…… so a raffle offering someone to dine with him and Joe Biden isn’t asking for money?????
