Posted on November 14, 2010 at 6:34pmWe have a death panel and it isn’t the federal government, nor should it be. We call it “God” and only He should make this decision, not some bureaucrat. Paul Krugman does not own my 92-year old mother in law and neither does Robert Reich, Obama, or any other “elite”. Her medical care should be up to her and her doctor with a loving family helping take care of her and keeping this good soul with us as long as possible. Paul Krugman can pound sand. ” We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men ( and women) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…” I don’t see a damned thing in that statement mentioning Obama, Paul Krugman or Robert Reich gets to decide this.

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 7:08pmQuite simple:
“We have a death panel and it isn’t the federal government, nor should it be. We call it “God” and only He should make this decision, not some bureaucrat.”
I was just trying to show up the potpourri of idiocy that is this sentence. “Let God decide” means no measures to prolong life, no measures to treat illness, nothing. Medicine would go against the will of God. Little Susy is sick? Welp. Looks like God has made his decision. Suck it up, little Susy.
Also, he forgets to mention that at the moment, health care is between patient, doctor and insurance company. A company that makes its profits off of denying claims. Bureaucrats at that company decide if a patient lives or dies. A… death panel, if you will.

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 6:30pmOf course he said that. Anyone with a shred of sense can see that if healthcare is funded by the taxpayer via the means of the Federal government (we give them our money, and they give us back what they choose to), then if the last six months of life are costing half or more of the lifetime medical expenses of people, then cutting that cuts costs, and enabled the avoidance of huge tax increases. Further, it does little to affect life expectancy rates, since for an enormous sum of money, little is gained. To the extent nations with socialized medicine are able to charge lower per capita rates for coverage, it is through various forms of rationing, including end of life care.
Clearly, we do as a nation need to face the fact, that we all die, and that if we could in theory prolong a loved one’s life 5 minutes at the expense of lifelong indeptedness, it would not be immoral to say no. Either we survive death, or we don’t.
The problem with Krugman and his ilk is that they want to make the decisions, and not individuals, via their choice in insurance companies, and own willingness to invest their own money. A given person may decide, for example, that a loved on in a coma is going to recover at some point, pay to keep them alive, and be proven RIGHT. It happens. It Krugmanville, that person is dead, and there’s naught anyone can say about it.
The long and short of it is that these clowns want to take from us what we have, then give us back only a fraction of what we had, since we will then not be able afford what we had (especially once we factor in the overhead of government bureaucracy).
For a simple, non-ideological treatment of health insurance, read this: http://www.goodnessmovement.com/files/Download/Notes–31–healthcare%20in%20ten%20paragraphs.pdf
Net: the death panel should consist in the patient, the family, and the doctor, not hubristic cretins like Krugman, poster child for the devaluation of the Nobel Prize.

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 6:21pmHow can you tell a liberal is lying to you? His lips are moving.
When will people realize that the way liberals operate is to lie like bandits and then back off from that position as conservatives prove them wrong? The best way to handle liberals is to just assume right from the beginning they are telling you a whopper of a lie and then work back from there.
So, now that Paul Krugman, a liar extraordinaire for the left wing wackos and a smear artist when discussing Sarah Palin, admits that she was absolutely right when she called them “death panels”.

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 6:19pmYes, yes he is saying, we need death panels to choose who gets what medical care. What a hypocrite. What a flat out POS liberal hypocrite. In other words, if the death panels say no to grandma’s medical treatment, then we win twice because not only will we not have to pay for her life saving treatments, but we’ll also save Social Security fonds when she kicks off a year or two sooner than she would have had she been given the treatments. One of the few things that are actually transparent about liberals is their hypocrisy.
If morality were defined as a duty dedicated to the virtues of charity, civility, faith, family, freedom, honor, justice, loyalty, patriotism, personal responsibility, selflessness, and truth than immorality would be the opposite of these virtues.
The sense of morality is a fundamental human ability that most practicing liberals seem to be lacking. They’d rather put themselves before all others and then dictate to those around, rather below, them as to what charity they, rather the rest of us, will provide. In other words, they mandate to others to give while they exempt themselves from such charity. The rules, their rules, apply to everyone except them.
Liberals believe that everyone should share the wealth especially if they haven’t earned it. They believe this to be the “moral” thing to do. To a liberal, everyone is equal and therefore should be equally punished, or rewarded. Albeit they themselves believe that they are more equal than others. In theory this sounds good but in practice it’s an empty, valueless, and failed system of government known as social progressive communism.
Liberalism can be summed up by many definitions, but non apply more so than the desire to make the immoral moral by “any means necessary.” The book “Rules For Radicals,” written by Saul Alinsky and dedicated to Lucifer, has become a pillar of modern day liberalism. The book mandates the progression of the liberal agenda by any means necessary.
In making the immoral moral the liberals transform their own immoral beliefs and desires into a socially acceptable, politically correct, publicly adopted doctrine of social behavior. Thereby abating their duty of morality. Liberals hate the idea of morality because they do no want to be confined by its virtues.
The duties of morality are fundamental to sustaining the pillars of our values, our way of life, and our continued prosperity. Without them morality holds no meaning and we will, as surely as the sun sets, fail to preserve and protect our not only our republic but also our posterity.

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 7:11pmOur President has a courageous plan to save both Social Security and Medicare
The Social Security Trust Fund is almost bankrupt and the Medicare trust fund is bankrupt. The problem has been apparent for years but until now no one has advanced a plan to save these popular programs.
At last, our President has the courage to propose a solution! It is so simple that one wonders why no one thought of it before. The solution?
Enact a “Health Care Reform Bill” the severely rations health care to the elderly. This will save the Medicare Trust Fund and allow it to be used to reward the Presidents political cronies and provide health care for “deserving Illegal Aliens.”
Deprived of medical care, the lifespan of the elderly will be reduced, depleting the number of recipients of the Social Security Trust Fund, saving that popular program.
Both problems solved! Why did it take so long to find such a simple solution?
Of course, the Congress and the President are exempted from the solution so they can perpetuate the problem.
